  • This is the start of the journey down from Gangloff into the Black Forest. It is a riders eye view video so you get the view as i saw it.
I had set a route on back roads and these were as good as they come, interspersed with colourful villages. The roads were glorious to ride and it was a lovely area. We will be back.
It is one of the less visited areas of Germany, but well worth the trip.
there are 4 videos and i started to try and edit them together, but this one had nothing to cut out, so it is as we set off for the first ten minutes or so,

It’s all on a budget to be honest mate and we both work online so easier for us than it might be otherwise. As it happens we got a stupid last minute deal on the place we are at the minute. Most luxurious place we have stayed. It’s own sauna and a jacuzzi in the bedroom as well as a view over the Forest from the balcony. So we struck proper lucky. Next stop being harder to find because we’ve been spoiled lol

I'm glad to hear that things are working out for you.... for myself, I consider I'm blessed when I have food/water & a roof
over my head. Since I do have these basic things & others do not, I know I've been blessed & yes, I believe in the higher
powers in the universe but I'm not trying to sell anything. It's why you see a "GB" after many of my posts, because I do
believe & I want everyone to be blessed. Most are but don't know it and I only hope they figure it out. So you & your
significant other both do your thing on the web >> very cool & I do hope things keep on working out for you both.
      peace & GB You/yours

Nice territory to ride and the roads look great.
Deer are my biggest worry where I live. They are only slightly more crazy than the drivers but a car can't jump 30 feet sideways so I can kinda predict where they can go.😊

    • @barebonesmc
      @barebonesmc  2 месяца назад +1

We were warned about the ones where we left. Here the roads are less open but that means less warning if they come out of the forests

    • @sadwingsraging3044

@barebonesmc More deer per square mile in my State than anywhere else and the land is well over 60% either owned outright or leased by lumber companies.
It can get a bit skiddish just driving a car.
My truck has a nice brush guard and if not for it the truck would probably have been totaled twice.😳 Crazy things just pop up out of the road in the dark.

@@sadwingsraging3044 in the UK our deer are small and low in numbers, so it isnt an issue, but here is different for sure, and is another good reason for getting on the road early mornings. dusk does seem to be the worst time of day for our 4 legged friends 🙂

@@barebonesmc Same here in Oz with the 'roos and emu. Wombats don't move fast, but can look just like a dark shadow on the road in poor light or dakness; just like hitting a large rock and they'll rip the suspension off a car, so definitely not a great thing to hit on a bike!
