I'm so grateful to have found your channel last year. Long time Atomic Shrimp viewer, so your efforts are right up my alley. I enjoy your personal take on this sort of content, and your lovely gentle demeanor and sense of humor. I hope you continue to share your joy of food with the internet. Fantastic job, young man!
Strange the sardine pasta dish looked wonderful. In Italy there is pasta con sarde, lots of chefs published videos, it is a normal stable (not only when you are on a budget, or during covid times) to have a nice meal. In Southeast Asia, the Caribbean or Southern Europe people prepare it no matter if it is canned sauce sardines or add your own sauce plus sardines in oil/its own juice. Looks like meat (kind of a cheat Bolognese with false pasta choice, but Spaghetti is mostly used)
Here from Atomic Shrimps channel . Good content. I quite enjoy these budget challenges. Your channel should be suggested more by the RUclips algorithm. Cheers.
Not all meals must be amazing. Sometimes you just have to feed yourself. Food is fuel, and you succeeded in not being hungry. Look forward to watching some of your older videos!
Totally agree that Asda would have been a better choice, but you still did a great job. You didn't go hungry , which is the main thing! I would have served lunch for dinner and vice versa, seeing as you had such a big brekkie!
Love to see your videos so I was thrilled when this came up in my feed. Don’t be discouraged, the more you make, the more you will settle into your style. And I think I will enjoy it all. 🙏
Hey Harry, loved the video. Always interesting to see a budget challenge! Also enjoying the Shrimpy vibes together with your own style and touches. Best of luck 😊
You are very watchable without hearing on anyone, and do interesting vids. Love limited budget videos anyway, good to compare different people’s approaches. Would shopping in Aldi’s or Lidl’s given you more for your money?
A collaboration with Atomic Shrimp, now that is a great idea... I would really like to see such a thing. I love sardines on toast but don't really like the idea of having them with pasta... the remark made during the vid about them tasting different after some more cooking has made me think want to try it. Brilliant original use of sardines there, top marks for that.
Tune in tomorrow for "strange stuff in a tin" Not being sarcastic actually!! I appreciate the fact that younger people "get it" if you follow that view? Nice one. Good content. Keep it going. Subscribed. A collab with Mike (Atomic Shrimp) i think would be awesome and bring younger people to the table. Best regards!
Really like this idea! I think it would have been good to roast some carrot alongside the potato in the morning and save it for the evening, I'd save on energy too that way!
I think having reduced items should be allowed because if you had no choice and have to live on £2 for a day it would be something you would use. The odds of someone that isn't homeless having to live on only £2 and not being able to buy food in advance (which heavily reduces the cost of individual items) are fairly low but if you HAD to live like this reductions are your best friend. I say this coming from a household that has to budget every meal we have. I know it's not the point of the experiment but it wouldn't be unfair or wrong consider the eating experience of people that don't have enough it almost seems like it's something people should do to build some empathy.

Very true, thank you for watching!
Sam Wilder does these challenges, too. A collab with him would be cool 😊
Yay another episode!! Can't believe you've pulled this off. Love it !!!!
Hello, Oliver Praito.
Totally agree that Asda would have been a better choice, but you still did a great job. You didn't go hungry , which is the main thing! I would have served lunch for dinner and vice versa, seeing as you had such a big brekkie!

Hi thank you very much! I really enjoy giving these a go
That lunch was given me heartburn just looking at it.
I just love your videos. They are so calming and beautiful.

Would love to see a collab between you and atomic shrimp , great video
Aha perhaps one day, I think he's got the edge when it comes to these challenges though :)
I just went across to Mike's channel and suggested the same!
It's great to see younger people creating and therefore appreciating content like this.

It would be nice to see a pantry and freezer challenge. Using only things that you already have at home.
I might give this a go! We often keep a lot of stuff in the cupboards so I might have add some extra rules to make it a bit more challenging
Just discovered your channel, great work! Love a good grocery budget challenge 💪
Fun video. Show more cat!
Aha, we'll see if she's interested in being on camera in the future!
I really love your videos. What might be fun for you to try is the chance cube challenge atomic shrimp did. Once again a great video 😊
I'd love to have a go at that, I'll have to think of my own way of doing it! Thank you v much for watching :)
I love these cooking on a budget videos ❤ May I suggest a low carb edition?
It sounds like a fun challenge but I'm not sure I'd make it through the day, carbs are the cheapest thing to buy, after all! Thank you for watching!!!
Whole head of Broccoli, cabbage, cheap and will bulk out meals
The brunch looked ok. I am not really a fishy person but it is a meal. Just because these were budget meals doesn't mean not good.
"..And that, I'm sorry to say, is done."
That one really tickled me.
excellent xx
Thank you!
So much sauce in the tin could have used in the spaghetti but overall great job! 👍
I gave it a little swill with some water so I think I got most of it in the end, thank you!!
Got to say you made them beans stretch

What a novel and original idea for a series! 🤔
Haha, thanks very much for watching!
Hi, I’m high. Your channel popped up, it was very fun to watch. I’ll be less high later and show this to my friends tomorrow. Bye
I am also high. It was nice to read your comment.
Hahah, glad it entertained you. Hope it still holds up today...
From someone who lives of pents i love videos like this if they stopped selling veg loose it would destroy me
Thank you Harry a good try ..
Thanks!
Interesting
Thanks!
I would have roasted some carrot and pureed it to make a bit of a sauce fo the spaghetti at the end. Rest
was good

Expensive way to bake a potatoe
Like it. Subd
Finally a new episode
I don't see anything wrong with using the reduced items- it's part of normal shopping.
I always need garlic or onion and black pepper. I wouldn't do a challenge wiithout them. I do'n't see the point in punishment.
It was interesting to see the English version of Beanie Wienees
Being right handed you’ve got the camera the wrong side of you.
While chopping. Sorry
