Interesting tutorial made simple. I want to make some for my mother who lives in a Facility. What type of fabric is recommended?

I used ripstop for the backing and you could also use a flannel for softness. A friend of mine would get cheap table cloths and cut them into the right shape. For the front anything that is washable works. Cotton fabrics work quite well.
