- This is how to make adult or children's bibs the easy way!!! They're so easy and fast to make you can easily make four to six a day! Four of these cost me under $17.00 to make!
Enjoy!
Your instruction abilities are great. You speak slowly and clearly. I love your method and that fact that you do this with love for your Papa.take care and keep on sewing
I'm thankful for your video. It's very clear. The scene with your dear Dad is the cherry on the top! I love old people.
Thank you so much, I am my fathers career, he has severe dementia and always makes a mess,
I will make some for him, This is the only tutorial I have ever watched that bought tears to my eyes. xx
seriously the sweetest sewing video. So much love goes into this!
😊
I wish I would have been watching RUclips and this especially. I made several for my sister. She didn't like those with a plastic back. I had binding and sew on velcro in her sewing basket so used those. your instructions are great, even those with minimal sewing experience should be able to have a great finished item...
Thank you Steve...I`m glad the video helped! Thanks so much for watching!
I found using bias tape instead of hemming was even easier. Great video, very explanatory. built my confidence and now our group is making dozens of these for local nursing homes. Thank you!!

Good job on the bibs. You explained it very clearly as you walk us through how to do the bibs. I appreciate it.
😊
Explained so well thanks I'm a care giver and am going to make some for my ladies!
I'm going to make some also
Nicely done. Thank you! The ending with PaPa was so very special. Can't wait to make some bibs for my Sister in Law.
Awesome video and very touching to see your love for your dad. By far the easiest way I've seen to make adult bibs. Thank you so much for sharing.
You are an earth angel - so loving and caring. Thanks for your excellent instructions. I'm going to keep the cutout and use it for a pocket on the bib.
Making these bibs for someone you really love is very touching. I also like how create a bib just by using a towel it hits my brain that I should create one too. Thanks for sharing this!

Thank you!
You have such a sweet spirit.
Just what I was looking for. Thank you for explaining step by step instructions on making this bib.
I really like the pattern, plus fold up bottom of towel 6-7 inches for food catch all
Lois Walker....that's what I plan on doing as my mother drops quite abit of food & crumbs that go into her recliner...this way it will catch it all....hopefully.
Thank you for sharing ....I was just going to make my 99 yr young mother a bib & thought I'd check out You Tube & found you. Your's are made similar to the way I was thinking....I enjoyed your video....did you make the second video showing how you embroidered (?) the saying's on the bib ...I didn't see it...I have an embroidery machine & know how to do it but was going to watch as you are a joy to watch & such a good kind daughter. Thanks again for sharing.
My Aunt needs these!! I’m making her 2 of these for Christmas!! I know she’ll love them!! One will be bright orange (her favorite color), & one with a giant turtle on it (he favorite animal)!! Thanks for this pattern & tutorial!!

Very detailed. Excellent for beginning sewers, community service projects, and so useful!! Thx
Thank you for the tutorial. I will definitely use your project to make my dad several of your bibs
God Bless you. You are an awesome daughter. Thanks for the video, this video helped me a lot, it's for my mom
What size towel is it?...
Such a well explained video and you are doing a wonderful thing for your dad. I suppose you could if you wanted, always fold the bottom up midway to be a catching pocket for food or to carry a tissue etc, or glasses? Just a thought. Loving video.
Sooo sweet Thank you for sharing. Blessings to you and your family 🙏🙏🙏❤️❤️❤️
Nice that you showed him at the end! Sounds like fun! I am making baby bibs and drool bib, burpee and hooded towels for a fair in August. I teach ASL so I put some signs on them also. I really like you version of kid and /or adult bib. Great detail I use a snap device from Babyville.
Thank you for sharing and I love how you explained the process.

This was the very first video of yours that I ever saw, and I've been a huge fan of all your videos ever since. Thank you!
This is a great video, you did a great job!
Can I use the other type of snap or velcro?
Thx!
Our plan is to make several of these for a few of our local elder care homes for service projects.
You showed the length from the neck line but not from neck area to rectangle . Do you have a suggestion length?
Great Job and looks so easy
Thanks for the video. Do you see any reason why I couldn't use the same idea for a baby and maybe use a finger tip towel? Of course my template would have to be very small, but otherwise????
Just watched your video, love the idea, however could you be a little more specific on the size of the towel? You said medium, different places sell different sizes... thank you!

Reminds me of my late father in law.
God bless you.❤
This is awesome. How do I make them for toddlers? I understand the sewing part and snap just wondering about the sizing. Should I use handtowels or tea towels instead?
Hi Diana...a hand towel and tea towel are about the same size...I think for comfort around the neck ( I am thinking about bulk ) a tea towel would be more comfortable for a toddler BUT... I personally think a tea towel isn't as absorbent as a hand towel....I personally would use a hand towel but double and triple check ...so the fit is not to tight around the neck while eating...In short I guess I am saying I would leave more room around the neck part then an adult bib because of the bulk.....Thanks so much for watching!
@@SynnovesHome Thank you for the answer. I think I have a couple of hand towels from Dollar Tree I will try and see if I can get it right. Thanks for sharing!

Great video! I can't find the 2nd video on the lettering
I wish I would have watched this before I spent $40 in fabric and buttons and thread to make three bibs with a lot more work! ugh.
+Patricia Brannan If you have old shirts you can do this and any left over string or thin fabric can be made into to tie on instead of snap. With flexible material, it can slip on over their head. My Mother doesn't have a problem with these. I haven't tried the Velcro idea because I was worried about it being scratchy or catch in my Mother's hair plus the edges are hard to work with needles in hand sewing so I opted for the string version.
Great video...thank you!!!
Thank youforyour vidio on makingadalt bibs .
Well, I just made my first bib and it's choking him! Not sure what to do, but I need an extra 1-2" around the neck. Any suggestions appreciated.
Hello Doro… I would cut the entire seam around the neck right off the fold it over and make another seam exactly how you did it the first time this should give you about another inch around the entire neck.. if that makes any sense.. it’s a very simple fix and should work.. good luck!
@@SynnovesHome Thanks. I'll do that. Appreciate your help.
I can't find your 2nd video on making letters for your bibs. Did you make it . Have a nice day
I was searching for that video as well.
Thank youuuu!!
😊
These adult bibs, are they made from a large bath towel or a large towel? Thank you
They are large towels....Thanks for watching.
Hejsan, och tack så mycket!
Great Job.... Thank you.
I’m Constantly spilling on myself, I don’t know why, the food just seems to jump off my fork. My husband shakes his head and says he’s going to buy me a bib, lol, honestly I need one.
