The only Christmas music I can stand anymore is Evergreen Mandolin Music For Christmas. That is a very good Christmas album.
Justin surprised me with this. This showed a side of him as a composer and player that I hadn't seen before--and that's saying something, because the rest of his work is darned good too. Nicely done.
I was thinking the same thing, I was thinking this is one of this best performances because it showed another side of his ability. I was impressed.

I have never heard this song before. I will go to search for the original. Very cool guitar playing here. It's like a mix of Mississippi Hill Blues and Ray Charles and something else.

@@rodfatherschopshop6004 OH, so that's we're Justin found his inspiration. Yesterday I heard some bland versions. I could not even recognize the melody. This just goes to show how crucial rhythm and groove is for music. Rhythmic music, not classical.

@@VegaSirius This cannot be considered classical guitar style. Such rhythms are typical of different distinct styles of music; by your logic Rice and B. Powell might as well play the same genre as Tárrega and Segovia.

Wonderful take. I’ve always been fascinated by the interesting chord progressions in some traditional Christmas tunes. Have "jazzed" up a few religious songs but shied from showcasing them in public. Bravo.
