Tip:when you have lance/bayonate crouch it will make pike brace do it close to a cav.

Tip: If your getting chased, you should create a fair distance between the dude chasing you and yourself. Finally, if you feel confident enough to shoot, you shoot as fast as you can. Another tip, you can use Shift Lock to shoot through trees, although, you have to go a little right to make the bullet register.
