They dont have to finish it by some set date, so production stops or resets depending on if the people working on it get stuck or change ideas
I have tried the Rift and Quest Touch controllers and the Index controllers. The Index controllers are really nice, but tbh, they are not much of an upgrade to the Touch controllers. You can even pretty easily add a simple strap so that you can "let go" of the controller the same way". Also I am actually missing the grib button on the Index controllers. Really helps making it clear when you are grabbing or releasing an object. Right now I have trouble knowing or even getting the game to release objects. Throwing often feels awkward. Do I have to release all my fingers? Did I release them enough? And I am really not a fan of the built in, non removable batteries either. Still though, they are the best controllers for VR right now, in my opinion. Finger tracking is really cool, and so is how it measures grib strength, not just whether you grib or not. But possibly what I like the most about the Index controllers, is that unlike the Touch controllers, you can actually connect them to the PC with a dongle, which means if you want to, you can use the Index controllers with any PC VR headset using some third party software that calibrates the two tracking systems. Like maybe WMR or Rift S tracking.

Vahki honestly I’m so happy that I got the knuckles by themselves, they are just such a good controller! Don’t expect too too much from finger tracking, that works but not as well as you think “finger tracking” would work. It works great ifyou hold up fingers like a number or the bird or a pinky or a thumbs up or counting but trying to do intricate movements like a shadow puppet or sign language it’s very difficult to make the sign you want them to. Ben Plays VR unfortunate. I’m used to that windows mixed reality life lol. I need an upgrade though. I was thinking the oculus s but this looks dope
One complete circle and two half circles
*cute*
thank you for this background music
What happens when you choose destroy core!? Nobody has done it!
do you know when the valve index or the controllers will be out for the public?
Nope, I don’t know. The sooner they have a regular store page the better!!
The purple one sounds EXACTLY like the ego core from meet the cores
Do you edit (ffw) through the loading screens or is your computer just that beastly?
I do cut out some downtime in the game footage 😁
@@BenPlaysVR the scenes in Superhot have maybe half a second of load time. Is that edited down?
I have the exact same utility knife lmao. Im definitely gonna save up for the index.
I soooo want this ... wonder how much I can sell my og vive for ...
why did they come in seperate boxes
would be nice if those boxes became as a useable stand for the equipment
I keep my knuckles EV3's in the box they came in, which is identical to the final Index controllers here. They have a weird enough shape that you can't really put them on a table in any good way
How does it feel with your glasses? They the same dimension as mine
I'll be sure to cover that in my upcoming review! 😇
Did your box come with Lighthouse 2.0?
"Just when you think you know the answers I change the questions."
Classic quote from the great Roddy Piper.
What Graphics Card do you use?
PC specs are on the channel About page: bitly.com/2RZpf8C
How heavy is the index headset compared to the Vive
Just got my email for my valve index cant wait!
Ben, im planning on getting the knuckles controllers with the vive. Is this a smart idea?
Wait for someone to review them, I have knuckles EV3 with Pimax 5K+ and they are basically unusable because they map wrong half the time or more when I try to use them. Like they reverse the direction of the controller and other such things.
@@noth606 thanks!
Do they work with with oculus quest?
Did you record on the Index microphone?
Yes!
