  • Here is a new video !!
This is a vintage TV lighter made by the Japanese company K.K.W. around 1960.
It was in very bad shape, some parts were broken or missing and had to be re-made.
The chrome was scratched and I had to make new plating.
Please watch till the end to see this 1960's Japanese TV lighter in action !

How you put this beautiful little piece back to life is really something to admire, but just as impressive is your filming, keeping the focus even on the tiniest parts. And then you put it all together into a video which is - and I repeat myself - more than just a video, it's a work of art, short-film-festival-worthy! Thanks for all your efforts and for sharing it with us.

Another great restoration! But what I don't understand is why a lighter is made to look like a tiny camera? And why the compass dial? All seems too random. Cute antique nonetheless.

Novelty, plain and simple. Even today you can find weird toys and gadgets sold all over the internet, just look at what Ashens features on his channel

This lighter measures half a pack of cigarettes... Tweezers really help ;) black gloves not to touch rust, dust and lead paint... no gloves = dirty hands ✊🏻 thank you !
