…one thing I learned from my GrandMama was to have access to a trusted tailor, luckily I’ve been loyal to mine for 3 decades. Never underestimate the effect of a well fitted pair of trousers with its clean simplicity and crisp lines. I am now 55 but still get to wear a majority of my wardrobe such as my Ungaro Safari Jacket which I got from Paris with Mother in 1988. My style always was simple elegance with a dash of crazy.
Definitely going for neutral colors this year as they are timeless. Capsule wardrobe is the way to go! I also buy winter clothing during summer and summer stuff I got was from winter. That's the trick for cheaper price :)
If you want to knock out two things at once, do what I do and buy your knit sweaters from the women's section. They are always on sale compared to the mens versions. Go up one size from your tshirt size and you end up with a boxy cropped knit sweater for the low 🤷♂

Hippy drag went limp as more college graduates left school for "real life." More jeans, 501s for the gay crowd, green bombers, construction boots, flannel shirts. The Clone Look (we dressed like our low-class oppressors). Disco. Bodies. Sweat. Gyms blew up big time, overnight. Every body got tits and arms, overnight. More sex, more drugs, better drugs, and Disco all night on weekends. Levi 501 button-up jeans ( leave bottom button open if you were "open" for sex) and, tits and arms, was the costume on the dance floor. No one wore panties. Easier to drop trou for quick sex. Have a vintage great coat, and love my Burberry trench coat, vintage as well(the OG). I have baggy clothes but I don’t really like them. Wide fit pants look goofy to me. I’m excited for the influencer’s brand. Zip hoodie are gross to me, and bomber jackets are the one tired vintage military item I don’t like.
That early 2000s revival in fashion nowadays is horrible to watch, but so most fashion trends are. I guess that's what many people think at every decade. That early 2000s revival in fashion nowadays is horrible to watch, but so most fashion trends are. I guess that's what many people think at every decade. Now I'm thinking how in the world can people like those super wide pants and see sports athletes' sneakers like Asics as part of their street style. But yeah gotta be tolerant :D
