I remember months ago when everyone said shorts must be a 5 inch inseam to make you appear taller and the worst style choice was wearing shorts below the knees. Now it’s all about long jorts. I can’t keep up.

Yeah man personally, I’m never going back to super long shorts. I’m 6’4” so the crazy long shorts make me look like I’m Allen Iverson in 2001. It’s not a good look lol.

6:28 I absolutely dooo. I sold some shoes, clothing and decided to make a wardrobe with simple(not basic!) clothes that I love to wear. It's such a blessing, because I now know what to wear without having to think about it and always come up with some fresh fits.

7th Earth Studios has the best minimal hoodie I've ever personally seen, 500gsm, 100% cotton, perfect cropped, oversized fit, zero branding. I'm surprised nobody is talking about them, honestly. They average anywhere between $65 and $100, and I'd put them up against pretty much any other companies "premium" hoodie.

Amazing video! Honestly I don’t think I’ll be able to keep up with fashion trends 100% of the time because it’s forever changing and this made me start to look at fashion more objectively. when choosing a style, you don’t have to follow every single trend. For example I’m a short guy, so Im going to keep wearing bulky shoes like af1 and make use of cropped clothing to give the illusion of a taller appearance. Even if this goes out of trend, I’ll still benefit from this style by appearing more tall and refined . I learnt that you don’t have to follow every trend. Just try the ones that will help enhance your current physique and the ones you that make you feel the most confident and comfortable. But if there is a trend that looks interesting, I definitely would be watching ur vids and start investing 😊

It's funny I see brands and social media pushing the baggy jeans but NO ONE OUTSIDE WEARING THAT CRAP. I've literally seen people make a tiktok video with baggy clothes then take it off and put on something regular. As a lat 90's baby this weird Y2K aesthetic is of because I was literally around in the 2000's and I don't remember people dressing like this at all.

i think the fashion conscience person is into baggy jeans at the moment. for those that arnt, theyre probably still wearing skinny jeans. which is totally fine, its important to wear what makes you comfortable.

As far as the minimal clothing style goes, I think it’s really good to experiment with wearing different minimal pieces. Can’t go wrong with a good pair of white sneakers. It’s also easy to style. But I also think it’s nice wearing different types of shoes, jackets, boots, you name it.

Besides the Uniqlo pleated trousers are there any other you would recommend? I personally don’t love drawstrings in my pants unless it’s sweatpants and I know Uniqlo is notorious for that.
you can tuck the drawstrings in. checkout Kotn, they have a bunch of options include some wool trousers.

I have been working on finding my own personal style but I always find myself going back to my graphic design hoodies I don’t know personal preference maybe but I like my hoodies even my sweaters to have a design on them, without it I kinda feel uncomfortable the graphic design on those items appeases my brain I don’t know what exactly it is but it’s weird, it’s like I like my cargos both tapered fit and wide leg, but I also like tapered fit jeans but I say that fashion is basically down to personal preference, I’m not the best when finding clothes that work in unison and complement each other like some of the colours I wear might clash with the colour of my trousers or jeans, but I still get compliments on my outfit whenever I go out, my problem now is I tend to try work one jacket into every outfit because it’s so damn cold in the uk the one jacket I’ve been wearing currently is the only jacket that really offers any protection from the cold wind 😂

Is FOG Essentials still a good option for hoodies or is that kinda out? Just go with Abercrombie for value?
For boxy cropped hoodies, I like the recent collection of FOG Essentials Scuba neck hoodies. Most people may not like them cuz they are harder to put your head through, but I think the hood looks amazing and holds its shape well when it is down. The material is just right for me, medium weight. Looks amazing if you pick the right size to wear. Also the branding is minimal with only a black rubber label on the front side.
@@CCCFFHO I was researching on Reddit and people say the quality has dropped a lot recently. I do like the minimal branding on it. Not a fan of the scuba neck style though, but the crew sweater may be worth considering.
@thisistotallyfine I think the quality is still acceptable for the price. You may also wanna check out their recent long-sleeved bonded polo. I got 2 in different colors. It has big logo on the back tho but in the same color as the material.

Two things I hate in this world are crocs and below the knee shorts. I’m willing to die on that hill. Every other trend, I can understand, but below the knee shorts have been a hideous look since they first became a thing in my opinion.

Jesus, whats up with all the people in the comments shitting on trends (even though they came here to watch this video to find out about trends) like somehow that makes them better? 😂 If you actually do have some kind of established style, its actually nice to keep up with the trends so that you can add a little variation to your style each season while still maintaining the core of your style. This way we dont wear the same outfits every year til you die and you can have some fun too! Its depressing to see youngish people adapt such a lazy attitude, we are supposed to have fun with this shit! We'll have pleny of time later in life to fall behind on trends lol
