0:18 that's the sound if you use a tv remote on a radio, try it!

I think it was an old Grundig radio alarm clock that was due to be scrapped because the digital clock display stopped working and all the switches were very sensitive.

Apologies for the confusion but no, that isn't BoC! I referred to them due to their use of spooky short-wave radio samples on their latest album!!

Hi I follow your advice & ok to use the sound/experiment with the above, i overlayed your sample with another radio noise sample of my own, the result worked well for a music track - In exchange for the use of i follow your advice and put a link to you in acknowledgement for "radio noise" as Radio noise/interference - HayMrK (Urban Sound Pioneer) with weblink . Thanks again !

The data noise you are picking up is powerline ethernet adapters!
These devices are a general public nuicance, and they are used by yuppies that are alarmed by the sight of a thin grey cable along their skirting board to the tv PVR or the PC, the users of PLT don't give a damn about radio users and/or listeners, I get bother with freeview HD from some idiot using them near me!

Do you know what the more warbly sounds are caused by? Like at 0:31-0:36?
