Target pride peaked at the " Live Laugh Lesbian" shirt
Yes!!! I never got that shirt, but I want to embroider one for myself, it's just too iconic to not
I desperately wanted to buy that one, and I'm only bi. It was just to perfect. But I live in Kansas so of course they chose not to stock it at any of my nearby locations.
I have the shirt and it’s the best
I bought that shirt on impulse from the display AT THE FRONT OF THE STORE by the self checkout the first few days of Pride Month 2023 before the outrage hate engine ramped up. It's a great shirt.
Seriously!!
Listening to this while working my electronics shift at Target. Our store doesn't even have the pride collection this year, not that I ever really felt represented/supported by their selection of candles with random pronouns on them or dog shirts that say "dare to be you" that were immidiately marked to be thrown in the trash once July rolled around.
I hate companies who throw things away as soon as the correct time for them has passed. So wasteful. Just make them half price or something.
It's absolutely disgusting that these big companies produce all this crap and then throw it away. What a colossal waste of resources.
nitw reference
Two years ago I could get pride stuff at the Target in my own town. Last year they went wild and I was giddy, and I could get it anywhere. This year I went to a Target on the north side of Chicago...I saw a better unofficial local pride section there in 2016! It was sad and shocking, and their loss became Hot Rags (at Woodfield in the suburbs!)'s gain, as I got the lesbian flag I've been wanting for a long time as an ally. That was Chicago; the display at my local Target was the size of a locker.
So damned sad; if they wanted a quick bit of profit them and Kitchenaid could've painted their signature blenders in LGBTQIA+ colors, they were almost there!
@@MrSchimpf DASH has a rainbow-covered waffle-maker for Pride. They could sell that.
...my only question is....
*How?*
*Target, how did you manage to make a PRIDE COLLECTION homophobic?*
Ah, big corps 😪
Target hasn't been on our side... The only reason why they started stocking Pride merch was because Lady Gaga caught them donating to anti-LGBTQ+ charities. But they have pandered to homophobes/transphobes this whole time. For example, they were going to stop selling Abigail Shrier's transphobic book (ehhh... censorship... but the book is full of actual very dangerous lies, so...) and they turned around and started reselling it a day later because of conservative backlash.
profitmaximalisation.xls said so
Probably trying to appeal to the people who raided their stores last year
They were trying to hard to thread a needle. They want the right-wing crowd and still want to appeal to the LGBTQ+ community. In short, they want max profits they never cared about either group just how much they can get them to buy. Which means, a lamer collection and meaningless rainbow washing products.
I am so DONE with Target pandering to the right wingers. Last year, I wanted one of the swimsuits that were for transwomen even though I'm cis. I *hate* how skimpy most swimsuits are and I felt really seen in that I have no desire to show my goods at the pool, but I also don't want to dress like a Duggar. It's depressing, really. But honestly eff the right wing. While they yell for "freedom," all they do is take freedom from others. That's NOT freedom, that's fascism. "Freedom for me but not for thee." That should be their motto.
That was a normal swimsuit designed with the ability to “tuck”.
It didn’t cover any more than any other one piece if you don’t have a dick.
There are however boardshorts designed for women, and also swimsuits that have shorts shaped bottoms.
@@decgal81 fwiw I'm a cis woman who recently started wearing swim trunks because I don't like how revealing most "women's" swimsuit bottoms are, and I love it. I ended up buying the largest from the boys' section because I'm too small for men's.
YES! I'd love to find a swimsuit with extra material. Hot tip: Get a swim costume that has extra material gathered at the stomach area. It can be altered for more coverage lower down or the gathered material on some can be rolled down a bit to create the tiniest of mini skirts. Kind of like Japanese school swimsuits in anime. 😊
Why didn't you buy it?
@@conlon4332 It wasn't available by the time I learned of it :( Target removed it bc of all the backlash.
“Rainbow” items that are just multicolored are almost as huge a pet peeve for me, as when I see items that have all the rainbow colors but purposely put one of them in the wrong order so that it doesn’t look like a rainbow.
i'm so torn because I love wearing pride rainbow rep and it frustrates me that they are trying to pass off that crap as "pride" merch but i also just like rainbows and bright colors so i also just kind of like those items. I look forward to seeing what different companies put out for pride month because it's usually all so colorful (like that striped dress. I LOVE it...for what it is) Why is pride month the only time companies put out colorful adult clothes? I hate seeing all the fun and happy patterns on children's clothing knowing everything they make for adults is some variation of beige or olive or rust!
@@calliemyersbuchanan6458they don't always have all their full line of designs available, but Princess Awesome can be a great place to find colorful clothes for adults, with said clothes often being made to match children's clothes they make.
I hate that, too. Pride or not, if it's not a rainbow but they say it is, I hate it.
My dad made me go with him to a pride parade to represent target this year. They were handing out rainbow flags but the red and orange swapped places.
@BoandBax They just hate us don't they?
I'm dyslexic and my son is 8 years old. The other day my mother was here and she heard me reading the story to him at bedtime. When I came out she was in tears she was so proud of me, she said my reading has improved so much. I haven't noticed but it was a great moment
How wonderful, for a mother to see her child teaching her own child to read. I’m going to go cry in a corner now because, I also have a disability, and I hope this happens for my mother with me in the future and my children.
I myself am dyslectic. The best thing I ever did was read to and teach my three children to read. It improved my own adult reading massively.
That is lovely. As a daughter with a dyslexic dad, before I understood I just thought he thought my books were boring and was trying to change them. I would get annoyed, but now I feel sorry for yelling at him, especially since he has come so far in terms of reading, and loves it.
This made me so happy I teared up. I'm so proud of you!
My dad's dyslexic and used to read to me when I was younger. It's one of my favorite childhood memories of him. (He would also come up with really entertaining bedtime stories for my sister and I)

“Toddlers are really just
tiny, tiny teenagers.
So misunderstood.”
if you remove the "really" your comment becomes a haiku :)
There's a reason why they call it "threenagers" after the terrible twos.
From a psychological perspective this really is spot on
As a mom of a 3yo they really are and its the funniest thing imho. Its great to have a tot go "MooOoom" and roll their eyes at you after you do one thing that minorly inconveniences them 😂
I am, indeed, watching you in bed...with my cat. I'm nearly 70, queer, a mother, grandmother, former teacher, retired environmental (frontline) activist, and a Druid.
I love watching your videos, especially the historical ones, and following your beautiful family ...much love to you all.
I literally want to be you when I’m older 🥹🥹🥹
I hope I'm as cool as you when I'm older omg
Madam, thou art goals.
Thats the kind of old queer i wanna be. A cat loving witchy grandpa that tries to make a difference ❤
I'm into the idea of one identifying as a druid. What does that identity mean to you?
My local Target bowed to the bigotry and did not have a Pride section this year.
Pathetic how companies cower to a shrinking base while ignoring a growing base.
It really is a lose-lose. It was getting unsafe in some areas. My area is a pretty accepting one, but we had people threatening to have a "peaceful" invasion more or less, and at a certain point the company needed to choose between protecting the team and standing up for beliefs. It's kind of unfair to make the team members fight for something they didn't agree to be fighting for, fielding phone calls all day and complaints all day, threats, etc, at varying levels of actual danger.
I have a hard time believing they couldn't have come to a better compromise, like having the section of un-changed original merch available online at least rather than doing away with it completely.
Fwiw I thought the ombre cups were cute at least 🥲
It's just sad though because it feels like we lost many years worth of progress this past year, it's been wild.
same. it’s all about money for them
It’s not really worth it to make so much merch for less than 1% of the population
@@moonegalactica1%..?
so did ours. i live in florida so i have to wonder if it had some influence in that decision as well. target pride stuff has never been Great, but i really liked the tanktop i got a few years ago. it was nice to see pride so accessible. it really felt like a massive step backwards for them to have nothing this year.
I was willing to give Target a pass for reducing store space for Pride merch because I don't want any minimum wage employees getting gunned down by some lunatic, but the online collection was so pathetic they have lost any goodwill or benefit of a doubt I had left for them.
They never had the intentions to support queer rights, they just saw a business opportunity. Big corporations like Target have no morals, everything they do is dictated by profit.
As an orphan, I always got mad that being adopted was seen as this bad thing when I was a kid. And it didn't help that EVERY kid's story about orphans would be like "OH, THEY SECRETLY HAD A FAMILY ALL ALONG AND WERE RICH/FAMOUS" so they weren't orphans at all? Or yeah little sad orphan child! Everyone feel sorry for the orphan kid! Ugh. Glad that books are becoming more diverse.
I hated those stories. Did you know that the books created of Matilda, she has a father in another country? She isn't orphan as stated in the books.
As someone who's been in the foster system. I learned to tell fake from facts early on. It isn't until I turned 26 and was in rehab that I learned I was AuDHD and my father might have been. And no one even told me. I was told that he hated me but never that he was sick and getting better to come pick me up. People are so hateful.
We need to write books ourselves that represent what life is like today. Hopefully parents and guardians will read these to their children. I hope you are doing better today. ❤ ❤ ❤
I would like to point out the fact that the only reason there was controversy and boycotts over Target last Pride Month was because Matt Walsh lied about swimwear for Pre-Op Trans People being in the children's section.
So, as an aromantic and asexual person, I feel like I have different relationship with pride merch in general than most, in that I almost never feel represented even when the merch is generally done well (unlike Target's). My aroace experience is that I don't experience attraction or love towards anyone at all. A lot of pride merch (and pride month in general) is about celebrating loving whoever we love or celebrating our gender identities, and a lot of the time, it feels like my segment of the LGBT+ community is left out of the celebration. I feel like the odd one out, like I'm missing the biggest aspects that other LGBT+ people identify with and use to relate to each other. Feeling so isolated from the rest of the LGBT+ community has made me not feel represented by the rainbow flag, which makes me kind of sad as I theoretically AM part of it. I'm happy for everyone who does feels represented by the actually good merch and all of the pride celebrations, and I'm always excited to see rainbow pride decorations around since it's nice to see LGBT+ representation regardless, but I've not yet seen pride merch that I actually feel represented by.
I've commented this before, but what I DO feel represented by is Jessica always bringing up aro and ace identities in LGBT+ discussions. While I feel forgotten by many, I don't feel forgotten by her 💜
❤
Last year, Target had ace items! But that was last year. I was able to find a single ace candle left in stock at our Target. The section was completely picked over and people had to leave pretty disappointed because it was pretty decent that year.
You know. When the right wingers lost their minds.
Kohls might still have some things left. I ended up finding a button-up and they included the ace flag on it. The bisexual flag was a little difficult to make out so I usually wear a blue shirt with it to make the color pop out a bit more.
Yeah same, it's sad and a bit frustrating. It feels a bit like a gay Valentine's Day. Everyone is having a grand time with their partners celebrating their love, but we can't ever have those feelings for someone else. I feel mostly feel included in the community, but not at pride. It feels kinda like we don't belong anywhere, like we're just forgotten or like no one cared enough to send us an invite to the party. I'm glad that people are finally recognizing ace people exist, but it's also not lost on me that it's only aces, not the aros or aro-aces. It's only people who have romantic attraction. Not the unpalatable having only sexual attraction or the people who feel nothing but friendship
I'm also an aroace, and I see ace a lot more than aro (I can't help but think that's because of low awareness on romantic vs sexual attraction), but I feel like I've seen more merch/awareness in recent years, but online or at a specific event. I do feel like in recent years, I haven't had to bring out a metaphorical whiteboard as much, so that I can explain my identities, but it is definitely dependent on the environment.
And don't get me started on being agender! I always have to settle for non-binary or gender queer merch, which I don't mind, but it's not my preferred way to describe my gender or lack thereof. I'm not particularly fond of saying that I'm trans either, even though I guess it works.
@@Liam82618 I agree with the point of non-binary/genderqueer & agender not really feeling like "trans", since that's dominated by binary trans representation.
I think that transparent bag is designed to use at big concerts. Many venues are requiring them now, and it's super depressing to think about why. 😢
Certainly true in the US 😢
I don't get it, why are transparent bags required at concerts? I don't live in the US
@@mokje_ concealed weapons aren't possible in a clear bag. Pride events are big targets of the gun crazies in the US

Target was so cowardly this year, thank you for calling them out
Tip from an American (where things get a bit hotter than England). One of the cheapest and easiest way to keep the heat low inside is to keep the sun off your windows. You can buy external blinds and screens to put over your windows, but honestly even a tarp will work. My parents have a nice looking thing made of bamboo strips that rolls up and down. In the morning, you roll it down to cover the windows so the sun doesn't hit them, and in the evening once the sun is no longer directly on those windows you roll it up so you can get light and any breeze there might be. But you absolutely have to keep the sun off the OUTSIDE of your windows if you want to keep the temperature inside down, particularly if you have large windows.
Indoor blinds and blackout curtains do help a fair bit when used in the same way as you described, but outdoor is even more efficient as you say! Do the best you can to stay cool, y'all, it's been a scorcher this year and summer hasn't even fully ramped up 😭♥
(quietly files this knowledge away for later)
We are in a second level apartment where placing a screen on the outside isn't doable, but I'll remember this for the future. What we are using is a tinted and mirrored window film along with a sun blocking curtain. It makes a huge difference. Still, external blinds would work even better. :)
i used to love the target pride collection, not because i bought anything but because it was nice to walk into a store and see support for my community, however shallow. well, my local target isn't even carrying the pride collection this year- so much for inclusivity 😭
A lot of events in the US have safety policies that require bags to be clear and/or of a certain size... for reasons 👀
Like elementary, Jr High and High schools...
@@lilypudd Yup, stadiums too! Looks compliant with my local university's bag policies for sporting events.
@@blaireshoe8738 This is just depressing at this point, I can't understand how so many people are willing to make rules like this instead of just uprooting the issue.

Those red spots are Petechiae. Definitely something to mention to your prescribing doctor, especially if this is the first time you had them. They're basically tiny vasculature that have burst; they've been a part of my hEDS+ journey. Hope it at least helps the migraines!
That sparkling dress is so beautiful! It's like a pool of sky, covered in stars...
How to Montessori Yourself with pride and adhd is absolutely a video I would watch, probably many times.
The line between Rainbow and Candy Stripes is thinner than I thought 😂
Congrats on hosting that RUclips event!
My spawn's first full sentence was "I can do it myself"
My local Target had a Pride display about a third of last year's. It was moved from the front of the store closer to the fitting room. Black History Month got similar treatment, btw.
As an Autistic creator, the next time you’re at a Google event, you might kindly ask them to stop partnering with A$ on their MSSNG DNA-collection project. We need support and inclusion, not a cure.
You might also ask them to stop prioritizing hate groups and conspiracy theorists in their search results and allowing their content on YT. You can’t even Google Autistic Pride Day without a puzzle-piece ribbon popping up.
We have a pride day!?
Ooooh!
When is it?
I realize at this point that I should probably mention that I'm on the ASD spectrum and not fully up and up on all the fun stuff.
I agree, though that A$ sucks and they should be called out on their crap.
What is A$- I can’t find anything about them if I look it up
It stands for Autism Speaks.
@@Anonyomus_commenterautism speaks, a cringy and terrible organization
Google is actively involved in developing technology that's killing people in the global south, so I'm not surprised they're involved in eugenics projects too.
Unfortunately I wouldn't hold my breath for them to stop those partnerships, bc they're not even stopping the aforementioned projects that are aiding genocidal regimes massacre civilians.
Google will never support us autistics or other disabled folks, they're here to make money off of environmental destruction and corpses. So i don't think we should want or need their support. They couldn't be bothered caring about what autistic people need.
Honestly I'm glad we don't have these kind of bad products in the uk. Leaves more room to buy from small queer artists online!
Indeed. There are plenty of LGBT+ owned businesses around, also businesses that are genuinely supportive all year round, not just in June.
You aren’t only a RUclipsr, you’re a cultural ambassador.
love this - so true!
I, too, wholeheartedly feel this way!
And a DEI educator
While I have gotten everything else pride from local queer business owners and creators, I did get the rainbow Target pride bag and I am feeling deservedly roasted. Buuut I like it. The straps are actually really lightweight and surprisingly I have gotten compliments on it every time I bring it out. The thing that stuck out to me this year was how my local Target really hid all the pride stuff in a tiny corner of the store.
I got the rainbow bag too, but the complaints here are valid. 😂 I have a lot of open top bags like that. The black strap really is awful, and I'll probably never use it. I was torn because I always buy from Target's special collections because I want them to keep doing them, but I also knew they had severely watered-down this year's Pride collection. Corporate Pride is a mess.
I got the #love shirt. But yes, tiny section in back of women's. Disappointed in that.
@@purcascade yeah, the pride collection was objectively bad and hidden away. The black strap is cheap AF. Thankfully you can remove it and just use it as a handbag. As a mom with a toddler, I actually like the open top bag since I don’t have to fiddle with as much when I need to grab something if I’m holding my kiddo.
Corporate pride is def… interesting. On one hand, I think representation is important and acceptance is important. And sometimes a Target or big box store is the only place someone in certain areas might get of LGBT+ acceptance. Sad as that is. I’m lucky to live in a city where there are so many thriving LGBTQIA+ owned small businesses. Pride in general is more celebrated. But I know places where that is far from the truth.
On the other hand… why scale the pride collection down to please bigots? Oh right. Because Target has to try to please as many people as possible and damn the consequences.
She doesn't mean heavy like weighs a lot. She means heavy visually. The black strap pulls focus from the actual bag.
last year i got the pride crossbody bag.
It feels pretty obvious to me that what's queer about "It's giving charcuterie" is the slang "it's giving," which I think originated from the ballroom scene. (That's not to say that it actually makes any sense to sell a charcuterie board that says "it's giving charcuterie," because like, what do they think you're going to put on the board that is giving charcuterie besides... charcuterie?)
There's an episode of the video series Otherwords (on @storied ) called "How Brands Ruin Slang" and this is a prime example 😂😂
Not the point of the video but I absolutely must point out how absolutely RADIANT Jessica looks in that pastel green dress. Absolutely showstopping!
Claudia raving about the rose scent of the face cream brought back a sensory memory of my grandmother using Rose Milk lotion when I was little. I had completely forgotten that was how she smelled.
Jess, as an English person, I relate so much to the heat thing.
It truly is a different kind of heat!
Same, but I live in Italy... even worse here
it's 27°C right now, 11pm. 72% humidity.
You can FEEL how damp the air is. The other day we had 30°C with 90 PERCENT HUMIDITY
30°C is already horrible on its own, but with high humidity...
As a Californian the heat here can literally get into the 100s especially in the east and south
The sun burn trauma is real
@@DINGD0NG...I have 90 percent humidity in my city and it’s been 24 C. I know it isn’t that hot yet. Although my hair is forever wet/sticky. I am worried cause temps are still going up. I hope the humidity leaves soon.
Your Montessori section brought back a lot of feelings for me. We were planning to do more Montessori-esque parenting, but found as people skimming above the poverty line that it was simply impossible to do without the money to provide the child-sized items or access to items, the expensive toys, the systems so that you can put away one thing before taking out another, etc. I was surprised at how much grief and frustration still remains from that long-ago experience (my youngest child is eleven now).
And the grief and the frustration of that pale in comparison to the grief and frustration of trying to develop a reading habit with my children as a parent who was invisibly disabled and didn’t know it (EDS, autism, ADHD, other things), when my children were dyslexic, also AuDHD, and had massive auditory processing issues (and low vision in one of their cases). I read books like I breathe air, and it’s so, so hard to adjust my thinking to where I can understand their lack of enthusiasm.
I think we have made some good memories, and that they respect books even if they don’t love them. I’ve been told by my therapist that I’m a good parent, but it was interesting to see how tender this subject still is for me, and how insecure it can make me feel.
I think you’re doing a wonderful job, and I wish you continuing success and joy in your parenting journey.
Not being able to parent the way you want to is so hard. My sister had a child first and demonstrated a lovely attachment parenting style which I hoped to emulate. I had twins and it just too hard. I don't know how much that caused my PND and how much my PND caused my inability to parent the way I hoped to but it was a very rough time in my life. Be kind to yourself.
Yes, I have ADHD and autism but my daughter is 15 (who also has ADHD and autism ) Wish I would've known all of this Montessori stuff when she was a baby. 😅
Your explanations of neurodiverse and disabled experiences of the world have really helped me over the years is so many ways and I really appreciate it! A large part of why I am now diagnosed and happily transitioning as a queer person, with an awesome partner, instead of repressed and in denial with a bunch of very upsetting symptoms is down to this channel. Also reduced my shame about my various disabilities. Sending thanks all the way from Australia!
I love watching Jessica get so angry at them, like work it girl, I agree
As a parent, the Positive Discipline method made a huge difference for me. There's a book by that name by Jane Nelsen. My first daughter had anxiety issues even as a toddler, and she needed gentle guidance. It think it would mesh pretty well with Montessori ideas. (Or not, if Montessori is too structured for you.)
Jessica, your blue glittery dress is extraordinarily beautiful and I too am proud of everything you have achieved so far! I love your sense of humour and I'm very glad to have found this nice and welcoming space of yours here on RUclips ❤

the target stuff (no matter how tacky) was my first access point into any sort of queer merch when I was younger and had no way to buy stuff online... its kind of sad to see it going from a big display to being shoved in the corner :(
This month, I said goodbye to the school I worked at for 20 years (closed for lack of funding), started working summer school, started a Patreon, and visited one of our beautiful Wisconsin state parks (Pattison).
I am disappointed in the lack of courage/support from Target, but it doesn’t surprise me. Their primary focus is money after all. I’m also disappointed in their design aesthetic. Their “rainbow” clothes remind me of the 1980’s.
This summer, I’m starting a beadwork/crochet/weaving/photography channel on Patreon and RUclips, and setting up an Etsy shop to sell some of the things I make. I am both confused and excited! I’m hoping to teach others to love art like I do.
Thanks for teaching me about queer history, fashion, and disability. As an aroace person with fibromyalgia, depression, and anxiety I really appreciate your channel!
The Navy dress with the cape is literally everything. I'm in love. You look like a goddess of night.
Little Feminists has picture books now! They are incredibly inclusive and montessori aligned!
I don't know if your son watches TV or movies. If he does turn on the closed caption( which you may already use) my son taught himself to read at the age of 2 1/2 it totally shocked me. Our son went to Montessori preschool also.
Yeah that is also very good for learning other languages! That's how I learned english when I was a kid
@@teamo8474Same! I learnt to read when I was 3, and we watched foreign movies with subtitles. It gave me very random skill of understanding parts of languages I don't speak 😂 But to be honest, I learnt how to read because I was bored, I didn't like TV much, I didn't like playing with other kids, I mostly drew or played with Lego, so I wanted to be able to read books by myself. And yes, I was very conscious toddler and when I was with my parents or one Granny I wasn't that bored, but with the other Granny.. whole another story.
I grew up watching movies, videos, etc, with closed subtitles on, and I could read entire novels in two languages at the age of 8! This is a recommended practice!
This was delightful from beginning to end. If I hadn't already hit the like button, I would've smashed it when Claudia "popped up" on the scene! *chef's kiss.
I loved your roasting of Target, well deserved. Honestly, the whole collection was more of an insult than anything.
One of my favourite things this month was my new Marsha P Johnson scaft. On that note, I'll leave you with my favourite quote of hers, which is, if anything, even more relevant now..
"History isn’t something you look back at and say it was inevitable. It happens because people make decisions that are sometimes very impulsive and of the moment, but those moments are cumulative realities.”
The transparent bag is probably to meet American transparent bag requirements. We ban guns at stadiums and concerts, but a lot of people have brought in guns to these places anyways, so a lot of stadiums, concerts, and just general large events require your bag to be transparent in order to bring it in.
I love watching the bits with you and Claudia!! You both are so funny and have such an amazing energy together. I hope your grandkids listen and buy you your face cream, Claudia! Thank you for making such a wonderful video and thank you for roasting the Target "Pride" collection for this year 😂
I have a somewhat relevant story. So, I needed new clothes for the summer because it had been forever since I bought anything. I’m in a pretty religious and conservative area and at the time of writing this I still live with my parents (looking into remedying this soon). I skipped Hot Topic even though it was the only store I would’ve actually wanted anything other than the basics from because I’m afraid of expressing myself here. So I got the basics that I needed from Walmart because they were the cheapest. Now, Hot Topic has been for the gays since forever ago. They have a massive pride collection on their website of over 1200 items. I knew I wasn’t going to buy anything even though I really wanted to, but I decided to see what they had in the store closest to me anyway. When I pressed the little button that shows what items they have in store, 0 things popped up. Like yeah I wasn’t expecting much but 0 items under pride? Just made me sad man.
Thank you for captioning your videos!!!! The quality of your content is magic 💕
That dark blue sparkly dress is GORGEOUS. It reminds me of Ariel’s dress at the end of Disneys The Little Mermaid
If you’re a fan of the little mermaid dress, Enchanted Bikinis has swimsuit coverups inspired by it. No affiliation and I don’t own anything from them and can’t speak on their quality, but maybe worth checking out.
Glad Day Bookshop (in Canada but they ship other places) have fantastic kids books with all sorts of families! They also have loads of books of many genres for YA, and adults with loads of representation! Different abilities, neurotypes, cultures, sexualities, genders, races, etc! They are a fantastic place
26:56 What Claudia said was funny enough, but the subtitles say "whatever was on the floor to be honest" hahahahhaha!
(She actually said "on offer" BTW.)
I love the tangents you two go on, please never stop including them. ❤
You bring me joy! Thank you and your family for sticking up for all of us! 💖
My absolute favorite channel. You're always speaking the truth in the most witty way.
Happy Birthday Rupert! 🎂🎉🥳
Happy Pride Month everyone! 🏳🌈
🤟
14:53 as a teenager I think we are just big toddlers to be honest.
Id love a video on the books you used to guide your parenting principles! I really like everything i’ve heard you mentioning about montessori and you and Claudia’s approach!
I think Jessica's hair looks particularly stunning here
The cream part was so wholesome you both are just so cute ❤
I love,"We decided to put Aircon in because we love and adore him"
I wish these products’s profits would be 100% donated to LGBTQ charities like The Trevor Project.
Everyone support Grrrl Spells! (And other companies that Target screwed over!)
You and Claudia were super adorable talking about her favorite cream. So happy.
You are wonderful!!!!! Thank you so much for being you!!!!
Yes to montessori parenting book recommendations please!
100% yes please on your parenting books!! not sure if i'll be a parent in the future (although i'd love to be), but regardless i find your and claudia's parenting style so wonderful and something i would love to emualate 💗
As a hypermobile person and a person with vasculitis I've had very similar skin marks. I saw someone else mention petechiae, which is a possibility for sure. I've had migraine injections, but I'm assuming mine have been different because they are Triptan injections for acute migraine and cluster headache treatment. I don't think I've had skin reactions to Triptan injections. Hopefully you've gotten an answer from your doctor about the skin marks and that they clear up soon. As a former Clubbie (sorry finances don't permit atm) I very much enjoyed seeing your social events over time and it's really interesting to see the RUclips events. My daughter (like many kids 😉) thinks a career in RUclips would be amazing (along with being a palaeontologist and an artist 😉) and it's a career I have no knowledge in, so very interesting to see different aspects. Happy Pride month and Happy Disability Pride for next month too x
My family tradition is to read the baby their first book before they come home.
I'm making a blahaj cosplay which I'm going to be wearing to Portsmouth pride and I'm very excited about it
I just absolutely love your style. It is so gorgeous. And that blue dress is fabulous. ❤❤❤❤
Great video covering such a variety of subjects!
Big yes to a deeper dive on those parenting books!
Truthfully, I couldn't muster up the energy to be angry at Target in this video because I was so excited to watch one of Jessica's videos again and to remember that the world is not entirely made up of boring straight people and other are people like her who are absolutely amazing. Thank you Jessica!
Your dress is so pretty! It's giving Disney princess without all the Disney controversy
I love the Clubbie videos and seeing you and Claudia grow over the years. 🥰
I am so confused by the Tippi Hedren bird being a LGBTQ thing, and the Beach Poolside bird, too. Only gay people hang out at the beach and get chased by birds? WHUT?!
@@llamalluvv my friend bought the birds and I'm like... why though
Love you guys!💜
Yes!!!I would love a books rec. 📚
Yesss please share those books!
You could not possibly be more of a pure vibe of a human being. We love an effortlessly, relentlessly interesting queen 🎉
Just had a 2.5 day migraine, largely in part to the heat. Sometimes you NEED the air con!
Claud’s entrance 😂
I chuckled when she slid into the frame 😂 The sound effect as well 😂
The "EQUAL-ITY" shirt actually came out two years ago. My sister got it for me and my mom proceeded to make fun of me for wearing it.
Thank you for teaching phonics! It's really the best way to learn to read vs. other models of learning
Call them and complain!
your blue dress is sooooo pretty!!
This is too bad. Buying from the Target Pride collection is a lasti minute pride tradition in my parts. Always can spot some matching girlies at the parade and causes a nice a bonding moment.
As a manager at one of the targets, we were told in a meeting that Target was not going to do Pride this year because far too many employees were being physically attacked by people against Pride. For the saftety of the employees and members of the LGBTQ+ they decided as a whole not to bring attention to it. When my store found out about it, we were all livid and very upset. Some of my other managers even wrote nasty letters to our higher ups in the cooperate ladder. We were never told about anything that happened last year other than them making us move it to different parts of the store.
I have a friend of mine that had a kid with his partner and they are both hearing people but they taught their kid sign language as soon as they could. They were able to communicate with him before he could talk. I think for that it's very cool and it could also aid them in life with communication in other ways
I just have to say it but your hair looks so so lovely!!
Call Target !
6:39 I love that dress. I can see why it’s your favourite. It also reminds me of Anastasia’s blue gown from the movie. And I just love it. I literally perked up when it came on screen and you now have my full attention😂😂❤❤
I'd love a video covering all your parenting books! I've loved all your baby book recommendations
Yes to more videos on Montessori and books you found helpful!
LOL! Loved the bit with Claudia.
