Filipino here, the traditional steps indeed way difficult, but that performance can be considered one of the best for this generation! Congratulations! I just hoped that the camera was able to get the whole scene...
Jason jason jason woooooooh .. nak it off stop screamin gosh .. so funny .. i never watched in a theater with so noisy people .. oh its a school ... Oh hehhehe .. teachers never thought there students to calm down in a place like this heheheh gosh..
This is not an authentic "Singkil" of the Maranaos. The costume shown here at the first part (with a lady in blue costume) is more of the Tausugs, with hand routines that are more characteristically that of the Tausugs. The later part has some Maranaos routines. There are a lot of things here that don't represent the real people who own the "Singkil." I hope next time, choreographers and production designers will study the costumes and dance steps well to avoid jeopardizing the indigenous Filipino cultures. Peace!

I always ❤ SINGKIL! Very ROYAL! A Filipina from NY.🇺🇸.proud of my rich culture! 🇵🇭
This was epic live!!!! It's amazing to watch it again!!!!
Terrible audience! Respect the performance. This is part of the Darangen epic.
Hahaha. Look at the dancer's ankle after their performance, full of bruises. Hahahaha. I am just kidding. It was really 👍 👍 👍 👍
Great. Kaya lang maingay mas maingay ang mga tao kay sa music.
If this was a student production, they overdid themselves despite their limited resources.
AMAZING!!
is there an audio file for this song? its for a piece my friends are trying to do but we want an audio without the bamboo banging
And the screaming 😅😂😂

are those dancers of singkil are filipino? are they ucla students? or just a contest held in ucla campus?
Maybe not. The dresses of the maidens in Singkil are multi-colored and not blac to represent the forest where Princess Ganding sought refuge.
The stage is so small.
Du mga baghak dang mga gasiniyagit hu...dri bala sa pilipinas linong na ya ang mga tawo kun magsaot sina.
Audience are so unruly!!! Have some kind of MANNERS!
Kung maka sigaw naman. Ahha

That's the problem with fil-am students I've seen on videos like this they always SHOUT, very discourteous & ignorant.
I just dont like the umbrella.haha
Great performance camera person sucks.
Great performance! Now quit the screaming.
