I'm a mechanic and I can tell you you don't need to pull the clip out.. you push on it.. it expands the 2 legs and you pull while pushing it.. you CAN pull it out but there's the risk of breaking it as shown . It takes 1 seconds to do it the right way

Valve gets dirty from charcoal from vapor canister.Purge the line and check the canister.
You and I literally have the same car with different wheels lmao.
I have P0455 which is large leak, and the most common issue is either a clogged vent valve solenoid (or gas cap, but I replaced the gas cap, and it didn’t help anything).
That tells me a lot!

What happens when you replace the part and you’ve driven for 4 days and check engine light is off but when you run the obd scanner the evap emission shows incomplete?
It's because it needs to be driven a specific amount of time before the system runs a full, complete diagnostics. Being that this comment was so long ago, what was your end result? Did it finally complete the internal diagnostics or did you send up replacing the part?
Does it make a difference if it’s a 6cyl or 4cyl ? Or is it the same part either way?

I wish you would have mentioned not using brake cleaner sooner. I was literally spraying brake cleaner in it as you were saying don’t use brake cleaner use something for electrical oops. Yeah😂😂

Yeah its cool dude. Im laughing my ass off. The funny thing is I was taught in a tech school to read all the instructions completely full through before doing anything so it’s my own fault.🤣 thank you for the information video I do have one question. do you think a bad fuel cap would make all these EGR o2 and the evaporative and catalyst perverter all come on at the same time? because that’s what happened. My engine light came on and then all I think four codes were on together at the same time. I’ve replaced both O2 sensors, but I realize that my fuel cap doesn’t click when I tighten it down. But I can’t get the codes to come off so you think I have a bad fuel cap?
On that clip that clip is designed to be pushed in to release not be pulled out I have broken several of them before learning this

Unplug it and see if the car starts .
@@stickytarmacs i had it parked for a good while, so it was a dirty air filter and oily crankshaft sensor
I wasn't getting enough air and it was misfiring
That white clip pretty sure u push on top of the white part and it spreads it apart.
Ok so the question is did it make u change it because of the smells of gas u had on the car when driving it and having trouble gassing the tank up??
No my check engine light was just on . If your having gas smell and trouble filling up , check the charcoal canister a the sensor that's next to it under car by the gas tank

@@stickytarmacs when I go 30 and 50 it hesitate but when go above 60 60 or let off the gas it stops hesitating

What else can you clean it with?
Non chlorinated brake cleaner or. Throttle body cleaner
What if ur car doesn’t turn on and the scanner just says Emission related DTCS freeze frame
HELPPP! My GF jump started this same car backwards +to- ..says battery poles became red hot, I'm sure the Alternator is fine but l can't locate the FUSE or any burnt wires ! :( ps..its a 100% new battery
Your alternator got fucked she reversed your polarity 💀
Nah you have to turn the car off then turn it back on to see if you cleared that check engine
