Hee Man, Can't give up now that you're that far. The car looks great! Paperwork and red-tape is a problem everywhere. Perhaps even more of a problem outside the US which HAS an automobile culture unlike for instance Europe. Europeans deal very different with their cars than US-citizens and laws are more strict there with regards to repaired/salvaged cars. Anyway I really feel for you. I can correlate to these days when everything works against you. Then even the littlest of things bring you down. Anyway this is a very captivating channel to follow up. Well done and thanks for the info. At least you show us the pitfalls as well as the victories.
lmfao, because hes doing this in a shit for brains state, why would anyone live there...im fucking dying...i can't even believe this is america...sounds more like australia
Damn Rich we all have those days my brother just bought Tesla Model S he didn't bought it new it use with 45000 miles it's all from watching your your show thanks man keep up the good job
I work at U-Haul and can confirm. Uhaul doesn't pay its dealers enough and thus they don't have the money for employees lol. that's why they are trying to incorporate self check ins/outs
I've done a number of rebuildables in the past, and I simply got a three day Trip Permit license to move the car from place to place. Costs like thirty bucks. And that's cheaper than a trailer, no chance of wheel rash and you can exit through the doors. Where I am, all they care about when inspecting is that the parts are legal. Safety really isn't a concern. Having a VIN on the battery pack is a strange notion. You are a brave man going through that hassle.
New York is the same way...just checking to make sure the parts aren't stolen. I moved to GA and the inspection process is still a pain...but at least they are specifically checking to make sure you repaired the car properly.
The trailer has a release handle on the left fender to drop it down. This will allow you to open the driver's door after loading a car. I figured that out after climbing out a window as well.
For starters, always request a silver trailer. They are larger and stronger. That car is really heavy for that orange trailer. I show up at opening time to ensure I get first choice. IIRC, that lip is only held on by a couple bolts... it more of a splash shield. It's fallen off temporarily in the past. Another option is to get a 2x8 and cut it into four 2" lengths and place them where the wheels will sit. This will give you an additional 1.5 inches. I imagine you could double them up if you screw them stacked. Sometimes you have to get creative. Good luck on your inspections.
Put shoes on to load your car. One can of fix-a-flat for the trailer. Get a U-haul 2 wheel car transport? Don't tell Progressive it was flooded. Tell them it was in an accident into a puddle. The size of the puddle is your business. I'm back-tracking on all your videos and still impressed with your stick-to-it-tivness! You never gave up and finally got your working Tesla.
Man, Sorry that didn't go well. Here are a couple of ideas to try to fix the issues: First, did they give you a complete list of the deficiencies? If they, did attack each deficiency one-at-a-time. The biggest one is the lack of an Insurance Report; call up Progressive and ask if they can give you a statement on Letterhead that they do not inspect flooded vehicles, that it is their policy to simply total the vehicle. Next, find out for sure that Tesla does not VIN the Battery packs and get some type of documentation if possible. Next, make the inspector's job SO EASY that an Orangutan could approve your inspection. By this I mean, prepare a very organized folder with a listing of what you did to the car and all the receipts sequenced (and Numbered) in the order you listed the repairs. Make this as detailed as possible, for example: when you listed that you repaired the headlights, place a sheet of paper in your receipts folder that states exactly how you repaired them, i.e.: removed and disassembled headlights, cleaned the lenses, replaced the headlight bulbs, painted accent color inside the lens and reassembled headlight and re-installed on the vehicle. Include a photo of the finished headlight and a photo (or video capture) of the disassembled headlight (both numbered). Since you video taped much of your re-build you can grab video captures of each part that they questioned and prove you re-built the part (perhaps have a short video (time lapsed, numbered, and condensed) of each item repaired Now, with all your documentation in hand, set an appointment to speak with the manager of the inspection program to discuss exactly how to get this car back on the road. You need to impress upon him or her that Tesla is not built like other cars and not all parts are going to be VINed like other cars. Yours is a unique situation and you want to work with them to get the car back on the road. Basically, your documentation should equal the documentation you would need if you were making your case in open court in front of a Judge. You might even consider hiring a Lawyer to go with you during the meeting. Take Care, Good Luck, and keep us informed on your progress !!!
i agree, but use a 3 ring binder, with a title and TOC in the front. Impress the hell out of them. Picutures help too. Also IRS does accept hand written diary for documention. Did you do one? Good luck
You're exactly right Cooter. When I was building my HT Monaro everyone said it would never get registered. I just jumped through every hoop, filled in every form they gave me, modified and upgraded whatever they told me to, and in the end they ran out of excuses or legal objections. When I got it rego'ed the inspector actually said he wanted to fail it for high emissions but since it only had 2 ADR's (seatbelts and tyres I think) he had to pass it.
I'm just impressed that you used the word FAILURE instead of the word FAIL! Because, nowadays, the 'cool kids' fail when they use the word 'fail' constantly and skip using the appropriate word, which is often the word: 'failure'. Yes... they both ARE indeed actual words... but 'failure' should be used in MANY instances here 'fail' has been (wrongly) used.
Dan Tyler ...... West Virginia or Tennessee..... I've lived in both. W.V. has a yearly inspection sticker but you can find lenient places very easily as most all garages do them. Then in Tennessee they don't even do vehicle inspections. No inspection stickers etc....
Massachusetts may very well be the worst state for this type of bureaucratic bullshit. It makes New fuckin Jersey seem sane by comparison and that's saying something. We're one of the worst states to run a kit car in as well, ironically Factory Five is based out of Wareham up here. These laws are drafted by carless legislators on Beacon Hill who think everyone can just "take the T" to work. Remember what Mel Gibson's character said in Edge of Darkness? "Everything is illegal in Massachusetts".
Try going to a different station in another part of the state? You get a different person, different outcome just like cops pulling you over. Clearly these clowns are clueless about EVs, when they think Teslas have VIN numbers on packs. Or get the car done out of state. A dealer once told me that he shipped cars to easy going Georgia when there was a mismatch of VINs, or missing title, got a Georgia title, then got it retitled back home.
P.S. Sorry to be wordy but you need prof. help from a used car dealer in your state. They know how to work the loopholes in every state, such as getting something first titled in an "easy" state like Georgia, etc.
Jim Whitehead when he goes in to the station it's logged in the system. that is then put in a system wide data base for all station's so if he goes to a different station it will come up as a prior rejection and listing the reason's why
This guy reminds me of some QA people in my industry. Some people legitimately want to do their job, but you always get those 1 or 2 guys that are just on a constant power trip. This guy is on a power trip. Don't be fooled, the worst ones are often "very nice". It's usually the ahole QA guy that you can be straight with... they have real concerns on their mind, not made-up bullshit like this. VIN on the batteries !? Are government employees there subject to random drug testing? He wants to make sure you got clean parts ? You bought an entire loaner car, no? There's all your clean parts ahole. Is this an Aircraft where he needs a S/N and signoff for every single part? GTFOH... it's a damn car. You're not even selling it like a stealership that would skimp on parts and cut corners. It's one you intend your loved ones to drive and be in. He wants to call people to make sure handwriting on receipts isnt yours? What a complete tool.
I only discovered Rich Rebuilds a few months ago - after the Joe Rogan interview. Now I'm going back in time and seeing his journey. This video maybe one of my favorites - Rich is down but not out. What an inspiration!
You have been a great guide to what to do and this video is a good example of how things can go wrong no matter how well you thought you were doing. I have learned a lot and have been applying it to my own rebuild project. Thanks and keep up the great and helpful videos
Just a couple U-Haul tips.. 1. the drivers side fenders flip down do you can open the door to get out of the car (those black handles on the inside edge front and rear of the fender). 2. Drop the trailer leg to raise up the front of the trailer to decrease the angle going up the ramps, then you have less of an issue catching the front lip of the car, or high centering the car.
In the earlier video when the trailer got damaged by the forklift they actually folded the fender down. But it's hard to do when you forget and you're inside the car.
Came across your cheapest telsa video. Respect for this project, and props for doing it so cheap. I know this was no easy feat. I like how you keep it real with the commentary. Good luck
i think buying a new tesla goes against my ideals, i think Im only allowed to own a salvaged one. Can someone ask the universe for me. im unclear still.
Agreed except then you have to pay for superchargers, so I think you'd have to categorize your needs for the EV. Other brands are catching up and creating some awesome EV's, though they do have a hefty price tag. I work at a Chevy dealer and have driven the Volt and the Bolt and they're pretty cool cars. The trick to picking those up at a more reasonable price is to wait until they're marked down heavily and haggle on top of it. A coworker of mine got a 2018 Volt for about 28k, which I would consider quite a deal.
Damn im sorry for the shitty day but so glad you stuck with it and to see how far you've come! Imagine if you gave up at this point! And now you have two shops of your own and a whole bunch of completed projects and it all started with Delores! Keep it up brotha you're an inspiration to us all!
Kudos to you for such a massive undertaking and sorry for your inspection dilemma and grief. I own a similar looking black 2014 P85 that I call Tes. Good luck with you efforts to get the car inspected.
Bro wish I could go back give you a hug a tell you it'll work out, days like these are what make or break us happy to know you stuck with it and how far Delores has come.
Dude I love your channel and your will to stand up for yourself with all that your going through....you're the start to discovery of the unknown....and im totally into your head first attitude towards all of it....tesla shouldnt be allowed to block out its customers from knowing their car and your the lead in finding it all out.......keep up the great work you're doing and keep pushing for the future!!!😊😊
A friend of min'e's model X was just totaled for a fairly minor accident that any other car would be fixed in a week. Besides the problems of no parts and no qualified (even though they're "Tesla-approved" repair centers who have any experience) service the other problem is that Tesla declared the care "dead". That means Tesla won't recognize the car for necessary software patches and downloads. From what my friend said the car now is only good for parts and even at that nobody was interested in purchasing it.
I don't get the near 50% dislikes! I commend you for the work you did and find it interesting. You restore a drowned car yourself and the only thing people notice is you scuffed a wheel. Guaranteed 90% of the people hating on you would have hooked something up wrong and burned their entire house down. But you scuffed a wheel. Shame on you! ;-)
If you really want to get the car on the road come to Florida use my address to register the car and find a office to inspect it and drive it back to your home state with a rebuilt title in hand and tag.. Trying to help!!
The land of the free... Good luck with the projects man. Been watching some of your videos, greatly educational stuff. Hope it will all be worth it in the end.
For future reference, the fender on the driver's side of that U-Haul trailer flips down so you can open the door. You didn't have to crawl out the back.
Oh you're from Massachusetts? Yeah there's your problem. I was born and raised in that liberal nightmare of a state. Hate it hate it hate it. I bet New Hampshire is way easier to get this done.
In all honesty normally I might not have commented as I have a car trailer of my own and haven't rented one in years. However I recently sold a Scout to someone who came from out of state and rented a car trailer and a pickup to tow with, rather then driving across country and incurring all the expense of a 4 day trip. Anyway the trailer the guy rented had the folding fender I hadn't actually ever scene that feature. Whoever thought it up was on the ball.
*Yes, the driver's side fender folds...you can clearly see the rubber fender release on the video. And U-Haul would have sent a repair for the flat, if called. The carrier should not have been towed with the flat :(
Yes it does fold down. And in fact in the earlier video where the forklift breaks this same trailer while loading the Tesla, the drivers side fender is folded down while they load it!!
I will give you a $1000.00 for it. Then take it to Texas. They will register it with a salvage title as flooded. Install salvage title stickers in the door panels. Then take it to the inspection station. That is it. That way the if someone sells it. The buyer knows up front. You have the receipts to show what was replaced. Hell most people take it to mechanic before they buy one anyways. I have a boss that buys high end BMW's, Porsche, Audi etc... Then has them totally repaired. Drives them for 2-3 years. Then sells. He makes a fortune. All but his Porsche Porsche SC. He gets in inspected once a year and maybe drives it 500 miles a year. Damn thing is known to be bullet proof form mechanics.
I don't know if you mention it later but, Just so you know, the trailer fenders flip down and out of the way. I usually use a bunch of cut 2x6's along the outside edge of trailers on wide wheel base cars. gives it just enough room and if the sections under the tires are short enough, the straps will have plenty of room.
Hi Rich; thanks for your video. I just got a Fisker-Karma with a flooded title and will face the process next week; wish me luck. Cristiano (MA to ATX)
A little advice since you enjoy spending money on these cars (cheap.advice) Buy two mirrors at least 12" x 12', mount them on two frames with a post & base then put them at the edge at the front of the trailer and that will guide you onto the ramps easily without calling or panicking for help.
I feel for you, but salvage vehicles are held to a much higher standard. Too often, titles are swapped, and damaged salvage vehicles are sold as non-salvaged. Its actually a huge problem, so inspections stations in most states are required to go into extra detail.
Couple tips for you. 1- as long as you have insurance just drive the car to the inspection, that’s what I do and I haven’t had any problems. 2- the left fender on the haul trailer opens up so that you can open the driver door.
Most of the Uhaul car trailers I've rented have the LEFT fender hinged so you can fold the fender down before you put the car on the trailer and it allows you to open the door.
You should have gifted the parts to a friend and have them advertise them as new & produce a receipt shown as so.. but live and learn right, its kinda funny to see you so frustrated and ready to throw in the towel, considering where you stand today. dedication & hard work pays off my friend! hope your future in the EV world is lengthy!
The place I go to is just happy to see some sort of receipt. I showed them a $25 receipt for windshield wipers and they gave me a rebuilt title for Salvaged 2012 Kazashi .
hold on, i just realized you said that you're going to add air to each tire until the message goes away..... you REBUILT A TESLA from the ground up, but don't own a tire pressure gauge?
The left fender of the rental trailer folds out and away from the car so you can open the car door. After you get out of the car it folds back to the upright travel position. The rubber straps on the fender hold it in place. Hope next tow will be better.
Lol I agree i have no probs on a 2nd hyundai. I understand all this stuff is just for youtube bucks but all Tesla is for is wowing chicks on a date with its push button gadgetry that will eventually fail. And dbag suits I see driving them like idiots in heavy commute traffic
"old car", lol. My car is from 2009, it still can tell me if I have low tire pressure AND shows me on which one. Guess you'll have to get that with a software update then, huh? Way to go, Tesla.
*the only reason they are being such butt holes about your inspection there is because it's Mass. if you were in pretty much ANY other state they would look at it, look at your receipts ask what the intended use for the car is and send you on your way with a new tag. and there are some states like Georgia that you could get the title washed by letting them inspect it , the deem it road worthy and you get a clean title in the mail there. Of course Car Fax is always going to reflect it being a flood car but if it's been repaired and everything is working again you are the only one that will have to deal with the aftermath of your repairs*
First off you are towing over weight on that car carrier and I have a feeling you are pushing your Toyota make tow weight of 6500 max/650 tongue weight. That is stock suspension and looks like you have a lift.
Please show me anything official that says the Tacoma has 10,400 pound tow capacity. I have owned a Gen 3 and now a 4. Can't wait to be proven wrong. I think I will be waiting for a long time.
talk about a difference, I live in Indiana, mine isn't a tesla, but I wanted to get plates on my restore project so I could drive and move it if need be, I fixed everything that was required, and when they inspected it they asked it if worked, I turned on the one thing, they just checked rest of the boxes and said have fun....
lol why would you put the car on the trailer and fuck up the wheels. get it towed for the amount you wasted getting the rim refinished. you are your own undoing in this whole process. How I watched even 5mins of this is unbelievable. why would you buy an e.v that's been in a flood there's a reason they don't generate insurance reports because they're junk afterwards the reason you're the only person trying to bring back a write off no one else will touch.
I have worked on cars since I was a kid. 2nd generation salvage yard owner. I have all the tools and equipment to do the things youre trying to do and still have alot of aggravation. And alot of experience to boot. Havent messed with these cars yet though but have built many salvage vehicles and know the process. Being a lwgitimate business makes it much easier. Especially when needing parts for receipts. I dont know how you do it. Massive patience.
I don't understand you seriously think Europe is more forgiving for unregistered cars? From the States? Salvaged from a flood? DIY repaired? You have a very strange idea of European bureaucrazy. Maybe illegally to some shady East-European dealers but I'm sure you find those in America as well. And at that point I guess you might as well sell it to Latin America then.
@@steamsteam6607 i'd have it plated and on the road within an hour here in the netherlands. If it passes anual safety inspection, which is really basic like lights and brakes working, suspension in decent order and not a complete rustbucket, your good to go.
Rich, did you know that the drivers side trailer wheel fender comes down to let you open the door? There are two rubber straps, one in the front and one in the rear. Un hook them and it will give you plenty of clearance. I didnt know this until after I reached my destination 18 hours away lol. Sooooo much easier to get in and out of!
Sounds like you got the cart before the horse here and should have done more homework on what it would take to get it on the road legally. Good luck...
Twas a bad day! Please see follow up video here ruclips.net/video/ui4Vzpuwah8/видео.html

# 1. Buy new Honda Civic. # 2. Enjoy life...
u r geat. u help me, so when ever you r down, even then u gide people.
I suggest you to remove the timestamp on your link :)
Man that is not the trailer for the job...
He must be lying about what he is towing because they will not rent a car hauler for a car as heavy as a Model S
I towed a Chevy van on a uhaul trailer. It’s about same weight
"have to put air in each tire until the light goes away." Or use a tire pressure gauge.
Why so many dislikes? People know he rebuilt most of this car? Give him props jeez.
I guess it is because of the Trailer. It really hurts to see that :/
Because he said boys and girls or whatever you identify as.
lmfao, because hes doing this in a shit for brains state, why would anyone live there...im fucking dying...i can't even believe this is america...sounds more like australia
theyre all from tesla
Coz he black they racist
Hang in there, I have a 1970 Chevelle I bought when I was 18, back in 1987. I'm 49 and she is just now getting the bodywork and painted.
According to them, the right way is to pay a dealer to fix it (which costs more than a brand new car)
Damn Rich we all have those days my brother just bought Tesla Model S he didn't bought it new it use with 45000 miles it's all from watching your your show thanks man keep up the good job
You literally fixed a flooded car and brought it back to life - don't get worked up over bureaucratic formalities.
Keep up the good work!

I just started following you on the basis of the Motherboard article. Keep up the work and I love the fact that you name the cars. :)
i think buying a new tesla goes against my ideals, i think Im only allowed to own a salvaged one.
How's the eSamba?
New tesla s and used ones will be dramatically cheaper coming 5 years .. time will give you an electric car jusst like it gave me an Apple computer
Damn im sorry for the shitty day but so glad you stuck with it and to see how far you've come! Imagine if you gave up at this point! And now you have two shops of your own and a whole bunch of completed projects and it all started with Delores! Keep it up brotha you're an inspiration to us all!
Sorry to hear that... But can't you give them the receipt of the donor car that you got all the parts off of?
Andy B it is the receipt for all the parts because the parts were from the other car
theres' no reason to prove you even took parts from another car.
Kudos to you for such a massive undertaking and sorry for your inspection dilemma and grief. I own a similar looking black 2014 P85 that I call Tes. Good luck with you efforts to get the car inspected.
6:06 I would have been way more upset if I had kerbed my wheels like that lol
Probably time to buy your own trailer with all these new projects coming along...
Na it was well used and done. Lol
Just found your channel, laughed my head off whilst you're walking around the office bit at the beginning - hilarious!
Bro wish I could go back give you a hug a tell you it'll work out, days like these are what make or break us happy to know you stuck with it and how far Delores has come.
This is why they say "never buy a flood car" Gut the interior and make it a drag racer
identifying as a loaf of bread I'm glad you included me in the intro
The fenders on the trailer fold down so you can open the door lol
Dude I love your channel and your will to stand up for yourself with all that your going through....you're the start to discovery of the unknown....and im totally into your head first attitude towards all of it....tesla shouldnt be allowed to block out its customers from knowing their car and your the lead in finding it all out.......keep up the great work you're doing and keep pushing for the future!!!😊😊
Don't give up. You're almost there.
Rich, I feel sooo bad for you, I know time has passed but at this moment in time God you had a bad day. Your amazing, keep going ....
WOW!
Tough crowd! I loved your video! Best of luck Rich!
Shame on you! ;-)
Mikey C hhhj
Mikey C n
They are Tesla cultists, they hate it because someone with practical knowage refuse to get on his knees to blow Elon Musk.
This was a roller coaster to watch. The restoration looks great, sorry you're facing so many obstacles.
If you really want to get the car on the road come to Florida use my address to register the car and find a office to inspect it and drive it back to your home state with a rebuilt title in hand and tag.. Trying to help!!
hang in there man! you can do it! watchin you from vancouver bc canada. what yer doing is really neat!
Every time someone says "vin NUMBER", I grow closer to heart failure.
Vin number
Also it has letters in it. :( im ded
"Call me asap as possible" -Michael Scott
VIN=vehicle identification number
Letters can be considered part of a number, an alpha numerical number.... Things that make you go hmmm 🤔
The land of the free... Good luck with the projects man. Been watching some of your videos, greatly educational stuff. Hope it will all be worth it in the end.
For future reference, the fender on the driver's side of that U-Haul trailer flips down so you can open the door. You didn't have to crawl out the back.
Lmao!!!!!!😂
Thank you for all your videos this is a great documentary. Your a pioneer in this new world. So cool.
Oh you're from Massachusetts? Yeah there's your problem. I was born and raised in that liberal nightmare of a state. Hate it hate it hate it. I bet New Hampshire is way easier to get this done.
All your effort is appreciated by your fans and the future.
yo man, all the way from africa watching, i must say u are doing a great thing here keep it up, hope to get the model 3 by grace bro... fan love...
Don't give up bud! I know it can be tough. I feel your pain through your videos. Keep up the fight, it will be worth it in the end.
Doesn't the driver side trailer fender fold down so you can get out?
It did before he smashed it with a Tesla
I was thinking the same thing.
You are a very patient man. Best of luck in your recertification.
"She's wide, imma strap her up". Man i gotta check back more often.
no rubber grip-pad on the brake pedal at 3:00ish (would fail here)
Still a great job. Who really would have knew. If so going up a steep hill your car will start on fire? Love your videos. Well done.
I drove my car to inspection. They asked why i said cause it's gonna pass anyways.
air pressure in your suspension is dependent on temperature and barometric pressure as well, so can go up or wind, even if you don't do it.
Stay positive man
HIV?
Damn! Sorry about the rims! But you got it. Don’t know how you don’t have your own show yet. Love the vids keep up with the great work.
Damn bro don’t be so hard on your self man. Haters gonna hate.
You're a mile from the inspection station. Fuck the trailer . Just drive it plateless. LOL
Hi Rich; thanks for your video. I just got a Fisker-Karma with a flooded title and will face the process next week; wish me luck. Cristiano (MA to ATX)
Thumbs down for f***ing the car up on the trailer.
the car is fine he just scratched the rims which is like whatever. l mean he built this car from scratch using parts from totaled and salvaged teslas
Electronics For Fun Yeh but a wider trailer would have been ideal...
This sucks to see, but thank you for sharing it all so we can see what's involved!
Should've used the car dolly they rent at uhaul. Just lifts the front tires off the ground.
Shon Alexander I don’t think you can use a tow dolly with a Tesla
Couple tips for you. 1- as long as you have insurance just drive the car to the inspection, that’s what I do and I haven’t had any problems. 2- the left fender on the haul trailer opens up so that you can open the driver door.
LOL get a white guy to go in with the car and see what happens.
Most of the Uhaul car trailers I've rented have the LEFT fender hinged so you can fold the fender down before you put the car on the trailer and it allows you to open the door.
DID YOU SHOW THEM YOUR VIDEOS THOUGH?!
The ONLY questionable state there is... IS THE STATE YOU LIVE IN!!!!!
Just get a lawyer to assist you.
"just"
Just buy a new Tesla. Or three. Am I right?
Lol I agree i have no probs on a 2nd hyundai. I understand all this stuff is just for youtube bucks but all Tesla is for is wowing chicks on a date with its push button gadgetry that will eventually fail. And dbag suits I see driving them like idiots in heavy commute traffic
As a U-Haul employee... that Loading video was painful to watch LOL! The drivers side fender folds down man...
"old car", lol. My car is from 2009, it still can tell me if I have low tire pressure AND shows me on which one. Guess you'll have to get that with a software update then, huh? Way to go, Tesla.
Do think you meant you other right! Rich, I pray that all works out as this all about safety, especially knowing your family will be driving this!
DaddytechEnt welcome to masshole...lol
hearing that a lot about being up there. too bad yall don't have another less aggravating option
I just realized I have the same radio in my 4 runner as you do in your truck lol
Dude I would love to meet you, I live in M.A as well just DM me for details, I would love to see Dolores. My aunts name was Dolores as well.
Fun fact, the fenders on a uhaul car hauler can be unclamped and are designed to tilt away from the trailer so that you can still get out of your car.
It's 6,800 pounds. He also made a simple mistake. Those are the numbers for the tundra.......
Shhhh, don't tell him... Darwin at work!
Unless you also have a Deloreon that can travel into the future, you sure as hell don't have a gen 4 Tacoma.
I was amazed the 'yota could pull it at all without breaking in half. The frame rust issues are overwhelming at this point for those useless "trucks".
talk about a difference, I live in Indiana, mine isn't a tesla, but I wanted to get plates on my restore project so I could drive and move it if need be, I fixed everything that was required, and when they inspected it they asked it if worked, I turned on the one thing, they just checked rest of the boxes and said have fun....
lol why would you put the car on the trailer and fuck up the wheels. get it towed for the amount you wasted getting the rim refinished. you are your own undoing in this whole process.
How I watched even 5mins of this is unbelievable.
why would you buy an e.v that's been in a flood there's a reason they don't generate insurance reports because they're junk afterwards the reason you're the only person trying to bring back a write off no one else will touch.
Denton Sobota hahaha so right! :)
You sound like typical Ukrainski!
Cause he's wealthy with all the time in the world for a hobby to do this. Who else can afford $50 toyota trucks and $70k vettes
If you cant get in on the road, sell it to Europe to cut the losses
BeastPieDie 6000 if he takes it further south in the US he can drive it with a salvage title.
Hell IL buy it no inspections in Kansas
I don't understand you seriously think Europe is more forgiving for unregistered cars? From the States? Salvaged from a flood? DIY repaired? You have a very strange idea of European bureaucrazy. Maybe illegally to some shady East-European dealers but I'm sure you find those in America as well. And at that point I guess you might as well sell it to Latin America then.
Eurostan? Better to send it to China or India or some poor war torn African nation.
Sooooo much easier to get in and out of!
glad to live in fl,
what inspection lol
Facts lmao Duval!!!!!!!!!!!
Facts bro ain't gotta worry bout dat in Dade
In my state you can drive the car on the day of the salvage inspection. One more thing on the trailer you can move the trailer wheel well
your caught in the matrix
You’re right about it being his just, but at the same time it’s their job to give us a hard time and take our hard earned money and efforts!
Sounds like you got the cart before the horse here and should have done more homework on what it would take to get it on the road legally. Good luck...
