Check the Corvette a/c drain where the fan motor is located. My C5 had wet carpets, and it was water condensate from the a/c building up in the fan housing and then draining on the carpet.
The c8 front hood can open while driving if safety button in the front gets bumped by groceries or loose items, bag, basketball, ect....try it. Start the car with someone inside the front compartment, drive " slow" and have the person hit the button while your driving.(or just put it on drive with foot on brake) It will open. I've heard

My high ass thoughts were some one could have closed the latch while the frunk was open and then tried reopening the latch with the button past the 10 minutes 🤷🏻♂️

Could be worth a shot put the first one on Doug Demuro's Cars and Bids website. Slap a reserve on it, see what it brings. Costs a bit of time to check it out........

$4200 is still a very expensive windshield. On a regular mid-luxury sedan, you're looking at $250 to $500 for a windshield, so Lambo is on average 10x the price.
Rob Ngl, even 2 months of payments on some of these cars is cheaper than putting 200 miles in a day on one of em, especially if I have to replace any nicked/curbed items.
Looks like someone got thrown onto the windshield to me. My moms car had that same damage after me and my friend decided to "have a race to the car" while it was parked in the parking lot and we were running so fast I landed on the lower corner of the drivers side windshield and my friend pig-piled on top of me. It wasn't until we all sat down inside and my mom said "Wtf is this!? that we noticed there was a crack that looked exactly like the one in this video in the corner of the windshield. Fortunately my parents had a 1998 Ford Taurus wagon so it didn't cost $4,200 to fix.
Somebody applied force on upper left corner of the windshield and that cauced it to crack. Probably yanked his ass off the drivers seat when top was down or hopped onboard and grabbed on the corner to be able to slide his but on seat. Is it so hard to tell the truth and pay the man?

AC condensation drain tube is clogged. Climb inder the car and blow some air into the tube to clear it
