@@williamtomkiel8215 The judge said in other instances he could increase the fines even up to $150 000 per breaking the gag order, but not in this case, which is why he mentioned that there will be jail time in the future. He cannot give a more than $1000 fine in this court due to the rules.
The issue with sending trump to jail for contempt of court is that it would delay the trial which is what he wants and that would also make him a martyr to his supporters which is why he dared the judge to throw him in jail it's all his delaying justice and the penny pincher hates losing his money more than anything else

All lawyers have to deal with this conflict, on a regular basis. Not with Trump as a client, or in the public eye, but in virtually every case I've ever handled, my best advice has not been what the client wanted to hear.
