You cannot allow Andrea Mitchell to go off prompter. She cannot improvise a single sentence and she reads aloud in a stilted fashion so that she does not communicate the meaning of what she's reading. I'm sure she has a lot of contacts. That makes a her a good producer, not a good communicator.

Why do you believe Trump is not guilty? Because he said so? He can't put two sentences together without lying (he judge is NOT corrupt, or conflicted, NO evidence that the jury-vetted and approved by both sides- was biased; their decision was based on solid evidence that was verified and accepted as genuine by the defense, and NO, Biden had NOTHING to do with the trial- the president has no jurisdiction over the state courts). He IS free, which pretty much demonstrates that Trump wasn't mistreated- his bad behavior in the courtroom would have gotten anyone else jailed for contempt several times over.
Trump was not denied due process of law. And he is NOT above the law no matter what he would have you believe.

Juan Merchan refuses to let the jury know election law. There may be a decent judge in New York State, but this is not one of them. Alan Dershowitz says this is the worst case in his sixty years of experience.
Not the way it works. The judge doesn't explain the applicable law to the jury until *after* summation. Have the defense and prosecution given closing arguments yet?

@@j.sumner6999 and which expert witness did Merchan keep off the stand? If your talking about the one the defense was going to call, he didn't. He ruled that the scope of his testimony would be limited. The defense then decided to pull him. Limiting a witness' testimony isn't unheard of, especially when it could have unduly biased the jury. Explaining the law as it pertains to the case is the judge's responsibility. Not a witnesses. And it's a long standing precedent to not allow a witness to interpret the law during a trial. The defense tried to pull a fast one and Merchan wouldn't allow it
