Icy again. Oh gosh this episode was great. And i'm not just saying that cause it was Roxy's. The whole chapter and the twist with the white rabbit are amazing. And once again, seeing Gregory's brutality on full display is even crazier. And I like the fact that this is how she wae blinded rather than getting hit ny a fucking gocart and having her eyes stolen. Anyways, onward to Monty's part. The stakes are heightening and Gregory's patience is running thin. Can't wait for next Friday. -Icy
Can I say how *AMAZINGLY* you add nuances to your character's situation? Like, oh my gosh it feels like I'm feeling how they're feeling from the inside out. Also, I find it SO neat that you ORDER it like that too, it's all intertwined with itself and nothing feels used once and left out. You have SUCH great imagery!
AH I love these rewritten stories and how detailed they are. The darkness of them and intense story makes it feel so real. I listened to the whole su rewritten to and loved it all. I honestly want to listen to more rewritten stories of other shows and games, but I cannot imagine them without kiwiees cool voice and storytelling🤩 so I guess I have to settle down and listen to this dark masterpiece which I will gladly do . (Sorry if this was long, I'm bad with words, I just wanted to say how much I love the rewrite,)
I’m having so much fun reading these lmao, always felt Security Breach was underwhelming considering that it’s the first major AAA Fnaf game, not just in gameplay but in the story as well, lately I had been thinking about how Fnaf’s plot could have been improved. This, however, is honestly way better than anything I could have done, or anything most people could make to rewrite this games story. + 1 sub!
Aww, Victor's entry at the end is breaking my heart. I feel so bad for all the animatronics, even as I'm rooting for Gregory. It's pretty interesting that Vic didn't mention Monty at all, while he mentioned other non-Glamrocks. Maybe Monty isn't just a new member of the band, but a newer bot in general. Interesting!
Everyone's talking about the awesome writing (which is fair) but why is no one talking about what the hell that was in the lore at the end? Here's what I've got so far: Vanessa Miller is Vanessa obviously Jeremy Miller, her brother, is taking over the company Victor Miller is their father(?) who seems to have created the PizzaPlex Victor did some sort of... Something (Project Security) regarding Afton Anyone else got anything? (I will go back over this tomorrow, rn it's 11 pm and I'm on my phone when I should be asleep)
Few questions: 1: Did you have any reason for the names you chose for the Millers? 2: Is the timeline from FNaF 1-5 canon to this rewrite? (Obviously fnaf 6 and beyond can't be because you change what happened to Afton.) 3: What year is the active Gregory stuff taking place?
1: If you’re talking about their first names, I mostly just called the dad Victor because it started with a V like Vanessa (There is another more important reason that I called him Victor, but it might give up some of the lore), and then called the brother Jeremy because the nickname “Jerry” Kind of matches with “Vannie“ lol. But if you’re asking about their last name, I just picked it randomly :) 2: The original timeline of five nights at Freddy’s is still canon to this rewrite, it just took place a long time ago. The only difference is that Afton is *officially dead* after pizzeria simulator, there’s nothing about glitch trap or anything, he’s just dead and burning in hell. 3: The “Gregory” story that we see on-screen takes place in 2087. I think Freddy mentions it later on-screen, but it’s not like the year is a secret or anything, so I’ll just tell you here :)

But wherever it is, the story of my rewrite doesn’t start directly after it or anything, it’s years and years later when this all starts to happen, So the exact year of pizzeria simulator doesn’t really matter. I DO know when mine starts though, and since it’s not a big secret year or anything, I’ll just tell you here: 2055 Is when the events in the lore start :) You guys haven’t seen ‘The beginning‘ of the lore yet, so don’t readjust timelines or anything, that’s just the earliest event that happens in my timeline that you’ll end up seeing eventually :)
Was Foxy turned to Roxy because too many people associated the Foxy animatronic with a certain bite of 1987? Or was it Fox's choice to divert from the pirate fox to a punk rock wolf?
So I don’t usually comment, I just don’t like to, but I GOTTA know, at 37:02 it mentions Gregory pulling out a screwdriver that Freddy had given him, which, for the life of me, I can’t remember happening. I know in-game he gets a screwdriver from the lost and found to escape Vanny, but when/where did he get it here? I re-listened through the series up to this point to try to find it, but just couldn’t. Maybe I’m missing something, but ANYTHING would be better than me having this nail in the side of my head. Otherwise though, I’ve LOVED this rewrite, I’ve watched (and rewatched) it all up to episode 11 (most recent episode released as of now) and I think it does a really good job with these characters. Thanks in advance for any answers anyone can offer

Hang on. I just had a weird thought with the timeline. So, we know that Roxy is Foxy but trans (like, that's actually canon to the rewrite. Read the comments on the prologue.) But in 2071 (the prologue), which is 5 years after the lore at the end of this episode, in which Roxy is already going by Roxy. So is this a timeline problem, or is the security guard from the Prologue just a transphobic asshole who inexplicably knows something about pre-Diner animatronics? And if it is the latter, how does he know about Roxy's name pre-Fresh Start Diner?
I’m trying to think of how to explain this without giving an accidental spoiler about how they were made… Before the animatronics were sent out into the public, (Like when they were still being programmed and stuff) there was the ‘transition’ from Foxy to Roxy, as she discovered that she was unsatisfied with the character she was made as. Technically, Roxy never appeared as Foxy to the public, BUT that technician guy was old and already knew about the original lineup of characters from how Fazbear Entertainment was like before, so he just made a mistake and labeled her as Foxy because he was used to referring to the ‘fox animatronic’ as ‘Foxy’.

So then I went back through, reread the lore for each chapter, and compiled all of that together. So while I've got you: Do the symbols mean anything, or are they just there for funsies? I would never ask you to spoil the lore, but it might be nice to know what has lore meaning and what doesn't. The creators of this series could certainly learn something about that...
