I’m Haitian and the parents DID send my youngest sister to Haiti to straighten her out! She was running around with these white kids that are little hooligans, staying out late after school (age 13!), going to friends houses for sleepovers without advising the family, and the worst thing of all to a black parent, talking back. She got shipped off as soon as summer school was over!
And did that help? My two younger siblings were shipped to Kenya when they did similar things as your little sister.
