  • This toy chest was built for my niece with affordable and available materials. It is a very simple construction requiring no special joinery, just some pocket holes! As always, thank you for stopping by to check out my video. I hope that you enjoyed watching and maybe even feel a bit inspired to start your own projects. I didn't see how you cut the rabbit to receive the panels. Did I miss that?

That's badass, the only thing I'd do different is the floor of the box, make it sturdier , just watching my own kids playing inside their toybox and how they jump in and out of it, and they are rough as hell on some their toys but anyways , but overall that's freakn awesome build sir. Great job, I'll be following.

I really liked this video. It's going to be the template that I use to build my grandniece a new toy box. Thanks for posting.

Really nice work. Would be interesting to see and hear more detail. Especially how to fit the soft close hinges and what was the clear spray you used?

Personally, I would shellac all of those knots in the pine before painting. Resin eventually bleeding through is not a good look on an otherwise great project.

I'm a bit mystified by your apparent random use of glue... 🤔😂
Also, as someone else mentioned, you never described the rebating, I'm assuming you used the tablesaw or a router, no biggy...
    I gave you & sub & a like... 🤗
Good luck with your channel, mate...
