I would add something onto this, which I have discovered recently, regarding making money of tech fragments: I dunno about Rep side, but on the Imp side, there is a repeatable quest near the tech fragments vendor that for 10 000 tech fragments give you one guaranteed RPM-13 and one guaranteed OEM-37. On the server that I play, which is Darth Malgus, either of those goes on GTN for about 40 mil, in comparison to legendary ember's 400k. I would argue that since Legendary Embers are not guaranteed to drop from deconstructing items, saving tech fragments for those might actually be a better deal, especially since you would need a hundred legendary embers to match one of those. This might be worth an update? I dunno.
this is a great list (like always). multiple conquest and gtn (normally just selling hyper crates, if i wasn't so good at spending credits i'd be a multi billionaire by now that way, it's expensive but it consistantly sells well) is how i tend to make credits but the other ways are interesting ways to look at to do alongside what i already do. i've recently started a guild so doing flashpoints should be easier and also contribute towards conquest. i regularly do heroics for conquest. i have so many of those lock crates, i can't wait till i get through the first two expansions to unlock them. i've only just gotten into crafting but i think that i don't have the patience for that methord myself but for those looking for just in game ways to sell it's good. i've brought crafting material in bulk from the gtn, it is a good market.

As always great work in making a concise and easy to follow guide that's a pleasure to watch even as a veteran swtor player. As forr the actual "meat" of the issue, everything up to #7 are good ways of making steady money (as in millions). #8 "Playing the GTN" is however by far the most tried and true method for making real money (as in billions) in any MMO that has anything resembling an auction house (other than having access to a lot of Cartel Coins). Steady money is made from buying cheap, then selling crafting materials at a markup while the most money is made from reselling cartel items for a steep markup. It is also however the only method that can lose you money if done badly (i.e. overstocking materials that may become irrelevant or cartel items that get heavily discounted). I run one character, play solo, have bought every cosmetic I have ever wanted (and a lot I didn't just for collection purposes 😉), and I still have 3.5 billion in my legacy storage from when I ended my subscription in May while waiting for new soloable content (that does not involve swoop racing 😁). There's nothing better than buying that Corsec Electrobaton (or whatever) for 50 million and selling it for 500 million to make you feel like making money in swtor is not a chore but a fun experience.
Thanks for making this! I recently returned to the game and since I've been gone, the economy has been in shambles. (also in real life but i meant in game) and i was so surprised to see how much things cost nowadays. When i returned i had 30 mil and thought that was a lot... looking to the gtn to buy some new outfits proved i was wrong lol. Save up your cartel credits and buy a three pack of the commander tokens, the ones that raise a companion to the highest level. Then sell them individually on the auction for 25 million each. You’ll get about 70 million credits overall (after GTN cut). Rinse and repeat. If you’re a free to play you can either buy some CC to get started or just save up. They are about 975cc if I remember correctly. If you’ve been away from the game you probably already have enough saved up if you attached an authenticator to your account. Remember though, there are limits to what a free to play character can hold. So maybe just buy a month subscription and close the deal.
Arthur N --- Whatever works for you. :) Although I should point out that for 3000cc you can buy three commander packs which would net you a return of about 210 Million. :)

All my characters have at least 1,000,000 credits by the end of their stories (and that includes having bought modifications and paying for repairs).
Will say, one of the best way to make crafting mats is to play the GTN. A lot of people list items quite low. If you are patient, you can make a lot buying and reselling. Also, look for people that miss a zero when they list their item. Their mistake can be your big gain.

Thank you for the informative Video!😊 I love that game so much😍 but its very oriented of KM. I would love when you can add also the normal gear iteam to your collection and not only the KM Gears… Besides it would be nice if you could farm more Gear and Mounts in the game without the option to buy it in the KM. Any tips?
@@kitfisto5582 buy low sell high
@@kitfisto5582 Well idk what GTN is like these days because ive quit swtor but i just basically spend maybe 2-3 hrs watching the gtn for cheap items like lightsabers (Sell REALLY well), armor sets and mounts (your best bet of income at the start), if you buy them up on gtn and sell them in trade your sure to get profit, dont bother re-selling on GTN because paste a certain price range people wont buy stuff on GTN, if you sell on Trade someone will always buy up the item ( as long as its a reasonable price) because they will try to flip it themselves on the GTN, hope this helps, let me know the outcome it had for you.
i've made 2.6B that way, soo easy and chill
@@gustavohlson6386 Grats, never really got past 1B creds because i spent a lot on my collection lol, kinda hard to keep selling stuff when u want to keep it haha.
This would help me to get the Dramatic Armor Set, during vacations.
Thank you
You can get it almost for free thx to cartel cert from night life event

Remember when the economy in this game wasn't busted?
This was a great help its my 7th day of playing i have credit cap but i use the legacy bank to store my credits so far i have 600k on my character and another 600k on my legacy bank 👀
aahh can't miss the alderaan music! love the video :)))
Most of the Players they play that game for a long time have so many credits that they buy everything. It would be nice if you don’t can buy it but farm it by clearing the dungeons like in WOW. I missing this in the game… you can buy everything.😕
The funny thing is, if you just do gathering, the conquest gets complete pretty quickly without checking, since it's repeatable~
been jumping between Phantasy Star Online 2 and Swtor. PSO2 combat is so fun i really wish there was SW action rpg with similar mechanics
Conquest definitely is the best method, I try to get about 350 solid resource matrix then sell for 55mil if it's selling for 70mil lower the price Abit, it'll sell either way. Thanks to conquest I've got around 170mil
oh your one them types that underbid people ur the worse...
@@symphonikretro116 underbid is usually a better method.
Symphonik, if you are confident on the price, buy the low ones and resell them for your own profit!
@@Matt-nd1li no it makes the item go down in price and it screws over proplr that have the legit market price underbidding screws over all people sell it for the legit price i hate thoose types
@@Matt-nd1li no its called low balling and it is sersiously frowned upon most guilds dont like guildies that undercut people in fellow guild or non guildies swtorista i love her and all but she doesnt sell shit on gtn every day like i do i can easly make over 740 mil in 2-3 days but low ballers screws up gtn economy
May the market forces be with you.
If you are not near a vendor and need to get rid of the gray vendor trash, you can always send your companion to do that for you.
What armor was your bounty hunter wearing? It looks nice
