Yunjin just debuted 8 months ago but already showed her singing and dancing skills, amazing stage presence, lyric writing, writing her own songs and now even the art style is done by her. She will definitely change the idol industry.
Yunjin said "I wanna change the idol industy" and she's doing exactly that
"never thought I would have this" refers to when she didn't make it into the final lineup of IZONE on Produce 48 (the survival show Chaewon and Sakura debuted in) and gave up her dream, moving back to the states until she received a call from HYBE a few years later to offer her a spot in Lesserafim
I will never forget how netizens bullied yunjin during produce 48 era during a time of desperation all because of the media's evil editing. They criticized her so much that she ended up getting eliminated on the show. She was really passionate back then and she really wanted to debut but the media took advantage of her and put her dreams and reputation at stake.she waited for another 4 years just to debut. She almost gave up and went back to school before hybe contacted her again.
I'm glad she's able to voice out now that she's finally debuted most people don't know about her history I love how she animated devil horns on the media. Yunjin has been through a lot and I'm proud of her for making this song. Shes talented , pretty, kind ,funny.shes just the most amazing female 4th gen idol I know right now

Yunjin was born in Gangnam district but when he was 2 or 3 years old his father got a job in New York since then their family moved to New York Yunjin went to opera school because her grandmother used to take her to church That's what made Yunjin quite interested in opera music Ever since I was little I loved performing on stage, but I think I first started wanting to be a singer around seventh grade. Unfortunately, he soon realized that it would be difficult to fulfill his dream in America. He noticed that there were no Asian singers on television, so Yunjin believed that he would not be welcome there either. It made him wonder why he was born that way, Yunjin crumbled when she thought of having to give up on her dream. If I'm Asian, does that mean I can't be on TV in America? I thought a lot about it. Because there's no one like me on TV, it hurt me a lot, and I thought, 'Why was I born this way? Do I have to give up my dream because of this?'," Yunjin recalled I couldn't get on stage that much, so from then on, I started writing songs. I wrote a lot of songs and studied instrumentals. I first experienced how to tell my own story through music, and I was deeply moved. It was so much fun and enchanting. It's like the melodies and lyrics I write help cheer me up. Maybe because Yunjin knows firsthand how difficult it is to succeed in America, she decided to move her dream to South Korea. After a long journey and struggle. It took 4 years to debut That too yunjin almost gave up Returned to Korea at the age of 17 and continued his studies in Korea and entered Pledis Entertainment appeared on produce 48 but failed to debut making yunjin return to new york and plan to go to college and bury his dream But a call from hybe changes yunjin's life and now he can achieve his dream at les seraphim. the song reise y our glass tells about yunjin's life his journey to become an idol took 4 years to debut.
No. She moved to USA after 8 months from her birth. And she didnt graduate Hanlim too. For being trainess, she moved to korean school (Hanlim) but only during 1 year. She went back to New York after kicking out from Source Music.

For most of her life she lived as Jennifer Huh, her sister goes by Rachel Huh, there’s nothing racist about it this is the life of people outside of Korea. That’s her name.
Yunjin chose that as her stage name because other idols already went by versions of Jennifer. She said it herself recently.
unfortunately people never seem to learn the day after i≠doll came out someone had created a fake (disproven) dating rumor between her and yeonjun from TXT (which why dating would even be a scandal in the first place…) and the amount of gross comments she received over something that wasn’t even true is insane 😭 the way they have no respect for these idols.. these idols can’t interact with anyone without it becoming an issue or them analyzing their every movement and creating a ship 💀 but i’m glad yunjin for her short career of only just a year has done and wrote more than most have.. she also spoke up for pride, and so many other things, can’t wait to see how much she accomplishes in the future, really

I=dol is literally other idols anthem at this point. I assume that when she wrote this song, not only was it from her own experience but also from what other idols went thru too. There's too many to count, where an idols just got mistreated by general fans/people.
And some even lost their lives because of hurtful and judgemental words. Sadly. And some lost their career and image even though they're innocent

Yunjin became my bias in Lesserafim so fast, she has do much talent, obvious beauty but also such a bold and unapologetic message to change the entire kpop industry. She supports healthy body positivity, LGBTQ+ rights, and feminism along with just general human kindness. I love her 🥰🏳️🌈🥹💜

Just a quick info...
Yunjin was a participant of Produce 48 show where due to evil editing of MNet she was portrayed in a very negative way losing the general favor she built.
Which correlates to the sufferings she went through.

Most of the time this path is like something you are so unsure about
Someone might work hard for years and never get to debute but even if you debute doesn’t mean everyone will love you
Even if you try your best people will be there to pull you down
It’s all messed up
But only if you are carefree and antifragile you can survive
The hate she got during PD48 was harsshh! just because she wanted to show her potential as a main vocal position. She killed the vocals but people were calling her selfish and all those stuff then she got eliminated after 1/2 eps. despite her great performance. She had to stop everything and went back to the US. She even quit being an idol because of all the hate.
And that performance, the SNSD cover, was the best vocal moment on the show. And only she could have pulled it off like that. I love Izone, Yuri is a great main vocalist, but it sucks knowing competition shows like that aren’t always about talent and they leave people with nothing after it’s over.

Le ssarefim lost a team member "Garam" because she was accused of bullying and that matter was clarified but still because of netizens pressure she had to leave the group.. She didn't gave up, now she is pursuing her acting career and moved on
