Lesserafim actually debuted in May last year, so it's only been a little over 8 months for them, which makes it even crazier that the company is giving her such freedom to write lyrics like this. She certainly has the talent for it and she is also quite brave for speaking her mind, because as expected she has already been attacked on the internet in the aftermath of the release of her new song... I didn't actually watch any of their videos before bc there were too many scandals and I was just really trying to stay clear from any negativity, but then I saw a clip of them from their DAY OFF series on TikTok (it was really short) and I was like "OMG their vibe is SO different!" So, I started to watch their contents posted on their channel and I just fell in love with them. Literally fell in love with each of the members. You see, there are groups that on first glance you would just feel that they're doing what they do bc it's work and members treat each other as co-workers. I'm not saying that's a bad thing, just saying some groups give off that kind of vibe. There are also others that you immediately feel like they're the best of friends and that's adorable to see. But while watching Le Sserafim, I immediately felt like they treat each other like family. Not a lot of groups give me that vibe. The only groups I could think of off the top of my head are Seventeen and BTS where every single member treat their other members like their own family (by blood).
Writing, performing and directing stuff like this in your first year as an idol is how you change the industry. She can't help it if people are too toxic to listen or accept it.
