I just came across the tutorial looking for a better way to bind off. Well, I found it! I just love the look of this and your instructions are VERY clear. Not being a very experienced knitter it was a bit fiddly for me. I was worried about losing that stitch before I got it back on the needle. Working in the round, after I got a few stitches bound off I found it easier to pass the yarn through the space under the needle. Sort of between the needle and the bound off portion of fabric. Then I didn't have to take the stitch off. (relieving newbie anxiety lol) Hope this makes sense and I hope that some day I'll have your nimble fingers!!
I have also seen this bind-off referred to as "hiya hiya grandma's stretchy bind off. It works great! No need to remove the needle. Just slip the stitch to the left needle to move the yarn around it.
I am about to start a seed stitch cowl. Can I use this for CO & BO? As seed stitch is K to P and P to K when casting off should I just follow the pattern? Thank you for your lovely demonstration. Much appreciated.
Thank you for sharing your knowledge and a very attractive Bind Off and Cast On. Looks really professional. Thanks again.

Love this bind off. I use a 3rd needle to bind off in the round and it works brilliantly. Just not sure how to finish off neatly in the round…..

@@bonnieswork Thanks for your quick response.
Can you use this cast off for 2×2 rib as well?
for 2x2, you can BO like regular way but knit to knit, purl to purl.
