Hi Lucy, I been watching you for a little over a year, I bought most supplies and books, and now want to start learning to colour. I’ve been very sick and now have many conditions that cause me to be in pain - so I find your vlogs very relaxing and I think your so fun, your humour is fabulous and I think your very talented, I so hope one day I could create some colourful pictures just like you I now need to start Coloring I am so unsure how to learn to mix my mediums and understanding what pencils work best on certain papers, I bought the card stock from your wish list, and gonna start working on very simple pictures.. so wish me luck… thanks for doing your vlogs your simply amazing ❤

To reiterate what Lucy said, don't be hard on yourself, we all had to start at the beginning. You'll know what pencils work best on certain papers by the feel of it - some pencils will just glide on to the paper while others won't, it will be kind of struggle. Coloring is fun no matter the skill level. Enjoy!!!!

Hi Lucy. I enjoyed watching your “deranged” bee come to life. I’m so glad you didn’t give up when the paper didn’t respond well to all the water. I didn’t enjoy getting stung in real life and spending 6 plus hours in emergency.

I think it was the Arts Spirits where I found out about gesso on low quality coloring books for wet media use
