Lucy, absolutely loved the painting. Please keep trying all these different mediums. As I've said before, I'm getting older and with arthritis in my hands it's lovely to have others ways to colour rather than traditional colouring pencils which can cause cramps. By the way I absolutely love Cristyl Vogl colouring books.
It’s been brutally hot here in British Columbia ( even on my island , Vancouver island ) so I haven’t had much energy for colouring. I really love your videos and I agree , that you should just colour what you want to , dear Lucy ! Soon our temps will get back to normal and even some rain by the end of the month . I saw your video earlier this week of RJ Hampson’s “Asleep”, and I just had to have my own copies of it and “Awake.” They came in today, and I can’t wait to get started. I’ll also have fun playing with acrylic and alcohol marker like you did in your serendipitous discovery with this deer!
Chemistry! :) The acrylic pen ink is basically a kind of "plastic" that stops the alcohol ink from soaking into the paper. :) I think the muted colours of your page are absolutely gorgeous, Lucy!

I love this picture and it is beautiful and awesome Last year, I turned my mom on to coloring and now we enable each other. She is 83,and last week for a few days she went out of town. I took care of her dog. She paid me $100.00 for doing it and I got Staedtler pigment art pens. They are awesome. I am bipolar and sometimes a few of my head meds make my hands shake so I understand about your hands

@@lucyjustaddscolour-adultco3135 and now more so, loved the look of the acrylic pens suits the folk art style beautifully.I’ve also got to look at some ‘kinder to my hands resources’ just to have rest from pencils knocking on a bit now and getting a bit of gip in my thumb😂 told yesterday need new hip and on urgent list hopefully will sort me out a bit🙄, but I’m falling apart 😂😂 plus side although I can’t get about I can still colour ❤️

Lucy, could call these Mid-Week Medium. That gives you a variety to select from for the medium and it gives you plenty of opportunity to fluff-up by calling it Mid-Week if you need an extra day!
I just got the 32 piece set myself. I feel like the doublended ones seem like two different colors almost. Are the ones in the 36 the same as the 32 set with four added? I want to get the full stick ones. But don't want a bunch of the same colors. Would a toothpick work for blending? Also. I'm looking forward to the lulu mayo a million puppies book. I can't wait for you to review that. I think you will love that book.

I don't think the tooth pick would work they are not thick enough. There is some overlap in colours as far as I can tell xx
