Schumann - Arabeske in C Major, op. 18 - 5 Years and 3 Months Piano Progress

This piece is very special to me. Like most of you know I am a late beginner so I didn't get a lot of classical music around me as a kid, except for two pieces. My dad is a self taught jazz pianist with perfect pitch so he could play pretty well but couldn't read sheet music. He really loved learning pieces by Oscar Peterson and other jazz pianists and one classical piece, Chopins Etude op 10 no 3. Because of that I have a very strong connection to that piece and for some odd reason, I also have it to that particular piece. Every time I the main theme I get a strong nostalgic feeling as if I knew this piece from when I was in kindergarten. I'm still trying to figure out where this comes from but my siblings say they share the same feeling and that it might be because of some Christmas song that shares a similar theme. Because of this I always really loved this piece since I started playing piano 5 years ago and finally I was able to play it, I hope you enjoy :)
