    Something to keep in mind when you were showing pinion build on the dummy: Skills that build meter from attacking (like pinion) are built up WAY slower on non enemy targets like the dummy. Another example of this is those targets for the red walls in MRD and Leciel.

    I would agree that all the TAC options can find a use depending on what scenario you face. I personally like T2 the most in general because it adds another damage option on the table for it's less PP cost. Also if you didn't know, you can skip into any other PA after the first half of variant stork! Example: Rampaging Harrier > Destructive Stork (first half) > Roaring Pheasant

    i use type three cause as soaring blades is my sub wep for boots, having a pinion build up in the back pocket is very nice. i know it isnt as busted as rapid kick ESPEICALLY now since its even FASTER to build it (rip jet intensity honestly i feel they forgot about that ability)

    You're absolutely right....
    It's criminal how cool the Glaive is. So cool... yet worth so much $$$ if it does drop...
    For my part, I went with Type 3 because there's nothing I love more than accounting for contingencies, and being able to accelerate a meter like that is a nice bit of added flexibility.
    Running different quests with notable differences in player composition, new bosses, old bosses getting buffed, UQs sometimes running the decreased HP debuff for events, quests with a larger variety of enemies to deal with than just one primary boss and even just having an off-day can all produce opportunities to throw off the pacing of a battle. I like being able to adjust the pacing of skills to adjust for those conditions.

    Congratulations on the weapon camo. Last I saw, the Partisan was 250 million. Someone bought it a day later. Never seen the Soaring Blade version before.

    What are your thoughts on the buff Type-2 Harrier got? Seeing as it no longer has any of the negative stats on non-down enemies it did before, is it now better than Type-3?

      honestly i want to blind myself to speed not being the choice. soaring blades always feels better the faster it is and idk if im ready to entertain that speed may not be the play anymore. call it cope...your probably right too lol
      all this to say, there is a good chance its either really close or better overall depending on the circumstances/use case...which i feel like you could say about anything.

      I think Harrier T3 is fine still. It's 1-3% better DPS than normal all the time, vs 10% better DPS only during Downs. Depending on what you're doing, Downs can be pretty rare. Also it's not just about DPS: the T3 craft gives about 8% better PB build up, Pinion build up, and Down build up compared to the normal version. Think of the speed craft as less about DPS, and more about all those other things. It's very hard on the PP though, especially with Reyaar...

      @@KronoKatastrophy I feel the same way. Like you, I loved acro classes in PSU so I'm always biased towards anything that makes attack animations faster.

    Personally I get the best general results using *uncrafted* Harrier Rampage. Consistently gives me 10-20 second better clear times on Duel Quests, for example. The PP consumption on T3 is absolute hell and ends up being a DPS loss, and it also seems harder to step cancel it as I end up in the uncancellable window (the last hit) more often.

    • @KronoKatastrophy
      @KronoKatastrophy  3 месяца назад

      in my experience dual quests are usually the exception to most things in the game. they are by nature much smaller. However keep in mind our overall normal attack combo isnt as bad as most people think and you get a surprising amount of value out of the weapon action between PAs
      id have to test it but keep in mind at max ugprade even in the case of harrier its a difference of 2pp, i could be wrong but i feel like 2pp can be compensated for pretty easily in play

  • @lornelorne5727
    @lornelorne5727 3 месяца назад +3

    I always see people saying that alternating weapon action with PAs is a DPS increase, but I don't think that's always true. The verification spreadsheet says the weapon action is 313 DPS or 469 during FB. Kestrel Rampage / Harrier is 400 or 486 during FB, and even higher if customised. So it seems to me using the weapon action is a DPS loss, although it helps with PP.
    And with Rolling Pheasant Type-2, I don't think you mentioned that it's better DPS than Harrier (even Harrier Type-3) if FB is down. So the Pheasant T2 craft makes it a better option than Harrier during downs or just when the boss isn't moving, unless FB is up or unless you're using Harrier T2 for the down bonus. Pheasant is also more PP efficient than Harrier and has its damage spread equally throughout the PA so you can always just cancel it early if you need to move. I think the Pheasant T2 craft is fantastic for this reason.

    • @lornelorne5727
      @lornelorne5727 3 месяца назад +2

      So basically, Pheasant T2 is Bouncer's best DPS on a sandbag target, *unless* FB is active. No FB? Use Pheasant. FB active? Use Harrier.

    • @rfmnt
      @rfmnt 3 месяца назад

      You didnt read the portion about WA being able to be used a few seconds earlier rather than starting a new PA, which increases the DPS of WA between harriers for example to almost 450 dps.

    • @lornelorne5727
      @lornelorne5727 3 месяца назад

      Where are you getting this information from? The verification spreadsheet says you can use the weapon action 0.2 seconds faster than another PA, not "a few seconds earlier". Even then, Harrier is still lower DPS than Pheasant T2 unless FB is up. Unless FB is active, using the weapon action is going to be a DPS loss, as it's only 313 DPS even if it's a quicker animation.

    • @rfmnt
      @rfmnt 2 месяца назад

      @@lornelorne5727 meant to say a few miliseconds. but still 0.2s faster to end Harrier basically means the total time for 1 harrier > wa is 3.08+0.48 - 0.2 = 3.36 with a total potency of 1246 + 150 = 1396 which means the loop is 415 dps. This is higher than most loops with SB. Pheasant end doesnt cancel as fast as Harrier does. Most Phesant T2 combinations end with around 411-413 dps with Harrier 7- hit to Pheasant T2 being the best.

    • @lornelorne5727
      @lornelorne5727 2 месяца назад

      @@rfmnt I also find it a bit odd that both uncrafted Harrier and Harrier-T3 are cancellable 0.2 seconds early. Since T3 is sped up, I would've thought the cancellation window would also shrink, e.g. becoming 0.18 seconds or something. But the verification spreadsheet does say both are 0.2 seconds early, so I guess it's been tested.

    I'm using type 3 cause the onther two just don't feel like they're worth it. Type 1 is reduces movement by a lot so it plain and simple makes non-variant dog sht. Type 2 makes the already long variant spin even longer, so i'm skipping that cause of the reduced damage Type 3 just gives pinion blade faster, and it's useful during boss fights, which just makes pinion usable on cooldown consistently.
    But they are SOOO MEH. And honestly i would've wanted the AOE mobbing pa getting custom instead of beyblade getting this.
