thanks Jon...didnt expect much from this game, but its more interesting than i anticipated. I really like the pattern matching, though I think some people will struggle with envisioning how to move to create those patterns when they can be done in so many different orientations.

17:42 Could you have completed that earth rune by teleporting your druid to the earth space? Seems like it would have been higher priority than the water rune.

Yes, that's a very good option. He could have taken the two actions as follows:
First action: teleport his Druid
Second action: activate the green Rune Card from his hand, without paying any activation cost, since the Druid is now on the Earth area

It could also get him a 3rd blue gem as his wolf activates as well

So many games on boardgamegeek with the same name as this one, maybe an idea to name the game something more unique. Will pass on this game. Your review of Oak made me look up the game and aquire it. It is a great game :)
