Carys was such a sweetheart when answering the question about money/career etc. U are both so careful with the way u answer the assumptions. It's such a shame that u are made to feel like u have to constantly justify your life. I totally understand why u do though. I am honestly so happy for u and I believe u are nothing but genuine. 🥰🥰👌
Yeah I agree with u I don’t know why anyone would want anyone to justify their lives & let’s be honest if anyone could do what they do as well as they do they would do it as well & they are so gracious about the life they have & u can tell how genuine they are their so down to earth & I just love to see ppl get on in life like urself I’m just so happy for them their so lovely 💯
Just to let you know your aloud to stay with your other half if you pay for a private room it cost £270 a night and your aloud in birth room but just one birthing partner xxx
Any oldies, dont you think its amazing how we have got to watch James grow on camera, he used to come across so shy but now he's up for everything ❤❤❤ Amazing couple 💑
Of all of the RUclipsrs I watch, you're the one of the ones that really make me feel good for watching your videos and that you appreciate your viewers. Some actually make me feel like making videos is a nuisance and that we should be grateful that they made one for us to watch. I get the grateful vibe from you two and I think it's wonderful that you can acknowledge your blessings and be thankful for your success.
James I felt for you when you said about not being able to stay after the birth. That is so sad, but I spent about 3 hours with my lad before kick out time after he was born. It was so hard knowing his mum had been through labour / birth then had him all night when she was tired. Keep strong, women are amazing creatures who adapt and survive, you will both be fine no matter what happens. 😀 my lad is 10 and wasn’t born during Covid, but same thing, you will both be great
I love how you are both so genuine.. my fave part was James saying ‘you took another big bite didn’t you’ and Carys’ face was like ‘hehehe yes I did’ you two are so funny 😅 go on gal 👏🏻☺️ xx
My husband and I raised my sister and brother during the teen years, my sister made me not want children and my brother changed my mind. It is really hard but I did love it and just hope we have open children like my brother haha. Open kids make life easy.
I'm currently a teenager and I always isolate myself as a way of dealing with issues. Just tell them how loved they are and how they're not the only ones going through it. Hope this helps someone with teenagers or just a teen themself x
This might be comforting or not, but if anything “critical” happens to either mum or baby you are allowed to visit under hospital visiting hours.. I think it works out to be like 1 or 2 hours a day.. hope that helps ❤️❤️ Can’t wait for baby Jaris ❤️
Please try not to worry about the birth! I'm due 10th November and my hospital have just changed its rules so my fiancé can come in with me from the very beginning as as long as I don't have to go to a ward after for anything he can stay until me and baby come home! Things are looking up for pregnant mamas!❤️
I’m currently 38 weeks pregnant and have done hypnobirthing this time round after a ‘traumatic’ birth with my first. I downloaded the digital pack from positive birth company and it’s amazing! I’ve done the course and I’m excited to give birth this time around. I understand my body a lot more! I’m so excited to see more pregnancy videos 😀 xxxx
You guys legit make me feel so good and happy after every video like that wholesome feeling you get when you look at your pets. And I just wanted you to know that you make such an impact and are just absolutely amazing and doing great things just by being you.
I love to travel and before my kids I traveled with my husband to over 12 countries...and I SWORE we would still travel after kids. And then I had kids and we have been on two travel vacations in 7 years......instead our time off is spent visiting extended family and going to local landmarks. Depending on how many kids you have and their temperament travel can become very unappealing very quickly and what is supposed to be relaxing is very stressful. I think it is something that happens naturally when you become a parent, without even realizing it your priorities will change, and it sounds weird but you won't even mind! Parenthood does things to your brain! I know I'll get back to my freedom to travel one day and the kids are only so little for so long. Vacations for now are focused on visiting family and making family memories rather than spending extra time and money to see exciting new cultures and sights. When my kids are teenagers I think we will be able to start doing real travel vacations.
Fingers crossed the hospital rules changed just before for you! We was lucky just had our 4th and the rules changed weeks before and my partner was allowed in the hole time then got discharged 11pm that night! I was in sure panick inwas going to have to go in my self and not have him there at the start or after my labours are known to be quick so was very anxious leading up!
You two are amazing and it is so nice to hear how gracious and kind you are about respecting every kind of pregnancy and birth. It makes me smile how lovely you both are and you will be amazing parents 😊 💜
You guys are beautiful. It radiates how grateful you are for all you have in life. You’re both so humble. Love how open and honest you both are. This baby is going to be born into such a loving family. Xx
I did hypnobirthing and it was phenomenal for my mind set, really recommend LOTS of practice of the breathing techniques so it’s like muscle memory before the actual birth, really helpful for the overwhelming moments
Was having such a bad day today, feeling so overwhelmed with everything today, I put this on whilst I had some lunch and you guys cheered me up. So thank you both so much 😘
I have really enjoyed watching this video. The honesty and pure joy you both have is inspirational! I’m so excited for you both to welcome your precious little blessing 💚 I have 2 girls myself, Alice who is 3 and Lottie who is 8 months - my little rainbow baby! I hope the rest of your pregnancy goes well and I wish the 3 of you, all the love, luck and happiness. You truly deserve it 💚
One thing I'm really glad we did before baby arrived was discuss our "worst case scenarios" and have a "plan" for what would happen. Hopefully those things never happen but they did for us and it helped so much xxx
You guys make it so obvious how grateful you are everyday! If you said it anymore it would be so annoying hahaha you guys are so special and so much fun to watch don’t put so much pressure on yourselves cxx
My bump didn’t really “pop” until I was around 7 months, that’s when people started noticing without me saying anything 😅. It’s such a good feeling once you actually look pregnant. 🥰
I had a c section 10 weeks ago with my little boy and I was home the next day, keep positive and try stay at home for as long as possible when having contractions I was home 3 days with them and when I went to hospital I was 4cm and my partner was aloud with me as thats active labour!! and congratulations its the best feeling in the world!! Xx
i'm praying that by next year covid is gone so you guys can have the full effect of labour,i couldn't imagine labour without my partner & my mum! i love watching all of you guys talk about your baby, you can see you guys are so incredibly grateful & i absoultely love how you always express gratitude,i love that about you guys! me & my partner thought we were good cop,me & my partner are so different with parenting it's like chalk & cheese,i expected to be sunshine's & rainbows & boy i was wrong lol,it's the best experience though!! i hope after covid you guys can maybe do a meet up or something,i'd love to meet you guys!!💙
I know I'm two days late but I just wanna say: I looove that you are looking into hypnobirthing! I'm all about encouraging women to find the courage and strength to go for a natural birth and have confidence in their bodies. Wishing you the best! 🌻
I feel like everytime I watch a mukbang, people say something like that and the other person doesn't notice 🤣 or they say "sorry, I'm gonna eat with my mouth full.. like yeah of course you are" LOOL
We used to do off roading as a family when I was young, honestly some of the best weekends of my life. Definitely recommend you look into it. When the baby is a bit older they will love it 🥰
You will not regret doing hypnobirthing. It teaches you so much about birth and the science behind it and how much our mind actually controls with the hormones we release. No matter how birth goes it keeps your mind frame positive. I loved giving birth and felt so empowered. ❤️
Best advice on the upcoming birth dont have a strict plan. I had one! And was devastated when I couldnt have a water birth, no drugs etc... felt so upset that I'd failed at having an emergency c-section! I should never have felt that because no matter how babies come into the world we as women are so amazing at carrying and going into labour 💕💕💕 you will be amazing. Love you both x
My son starts nursey in january and honestly dont know what I will do when we need to go on a day out/holiday! I have always planned things when the kids are at school so its quiter and cheaper! Enjoy the time you have with bub though before even thinking about school it all goes by so fast!😭💕
Random question, but is James’ opinion on fancy dress and costumes different towards babies as it is to adults ? 😂 e.g Christmas elf outfits, character dress up
We travel with our 3 children (6,4, almost 2) and it’s absolutely fine! Obviously no plane holidays this year but we do usually from when they are 4 or 5 months old & we go camping / cottage holidays / Center parcs etc. I wouldn’t change it for the world! I love travelling and exploring with my 3 beautiful sons. Also I highly recommend hypnobirthing it’s so lovely. I loved all 3 of my births (especially my water birth!!) 💖💖
I love love to tell you all about my 3 births they were all so different. One being a homebirth and I would totally recommend having one! The midwives work so quickly if anything does go wrong they can call an ambulance and having them with you ASAP! Can wait to watch the rest of your pregnancy, makes me so broody!! 💕💕
It’s crazy I had an emergency section and was poorly before so I got sepsis and was in for 16 days luckily my hospital gave my partner a bed and he did everything. It’s so scary if he wasn’t there. Can’t even imagine.
Aww you guys are the cutest can't believe I've been watching you since you did a healthy food favorite video in a small room years ago and its been such an honor to see your journey so far, love you guys, feel like you are my friends, sending hugs and kisses all the way from South Africa ❤❤❤
Definitely do a maternity photo shoot. I felt amazing at mine. It is an experience to just feel maternal and in tune with your baby. Do not go to Disneyland Paris until your baby is 3. No things really for under 3s.
I just wanted to say (with James mentioning c-sections and staying in) I was in 24 hours with mine, one was emergency c-section after 36 hour labour and stuck at 9.5cm, one was planned section and the third was meant to be planned but went into labour 2 days earlier for 12 hours then went to have section. Normally your allowed out after 24 hours so even if that’s what happened you would hopefully see your baby the next day. I know it’s not the point BUT I took this as a time to bond with the baby just me and baby xx
I came across your channel yesterday (it was on my recommendations) I love how normal and down to earth you both come across. Going to binge watch your previous video's. Your baby is due on my birthday ☺
I found choosing a baby name with my partner soooo hard & stressful. Also we have a lot of friends that are pregnant at the moment & in a selfish way I really don’t want them to choose the same name we have 😂😂😂 Love you both, & Carys THANK YOU for always keeping it real & I love how much of an open book you are xxx
If everything goes straight forward at the birth ect you can ask for a quick discharge where they will discharge you from the labour room after about 5 hrs I did this with my first x
Love this❤️ I'm 25 and have my 3 beautiful babies with my husband, I have a girl who is 5 and she is so protective of her 2 younger brothers who are 2 and 1, they fight like cat and dog so totally agree with having the dynamic of a girl and a boy. As both my boys love their big sister and she loves both of them but boys are boys and they will fight over every little thing!!! Plus also, I laboured quickly and had no pain relief for any of thrm. I was 9cm with my last when I got to the hospital and left 4 hours later!! So excited for you ❤️xxxxx
everyone said it to me about travelling with a baby n kept putting me down saying its too hard I won't be able to do it etc etc but I still took him to Paris on my own for his first birthday and it was fine like yeah a few things were tricky on my own but nowhere near as bad as what people make out, you'll be fine, it's definitely worth it!!!!!
May I say as a mum of two, don’t be afraid to ask for pain relief if you feel you need it during labour. It doesn’t make you a ‘failure ‘ I wasn’t able to have a truly natural birth with my either of mine (I’m short and have big babies!)
My sister in law and brother had a baby girl last month. They let my brother stay until she was moved onto the ward which was around 6 hours so fingers crossed for you 🤞🏼❤️
Hey car! I highly recommend reading the book give birth like a Feminist. Amazing book and it gives you a real raw insight of birth and your rights and options within pregnancy and labour!❤️
When I gave birth to my last baby I was out within 3 hours! Hopefully it will go nicely and you’ll be bike to be there. Still a while so many things may change its changing all the time so let hope they’ve changed the rule. I’ve 14 weeks and really hoping everything goes well xxx
I have to say, it was scary giving birth during COVID (had my girl 23/8). For reference, in Essex, I had to go in alone to be assessed, which was pretty rough and I was alone a lot. However, my partner got to come in as soon as I got moved to delivery at 4cm dilated. He was then able to stay until a couple of hours after the birth, like you said. I had some complications, so was admitted to a ward. I spent 3 nights in the hospital, and my partner was allowed to visit - but only for 45 minutes by booking a slot over the phone. HOWEVER, although it would have been so much better to have my partner there, I have to say the nurses and midwives on the ward were AMAZING. We all had call buttons which were answered so quickly, and nothing was made to feel like a hassle. Due to my complications I was in a lot of pain, and the nurses would even come and lift my baby from the cot to my bed when she was hungry, and out her back after, so I didn’t need to twist. I had amazing breastfeeding support whilst there too. So although it’s awful being apart in those first days, you are super well cared for!
Can you guys please do a “baby names we love but won’t be using” video? I’d love to see it & I feel like y’all love unique baby names 🥰
I love this idea!
yesss love this idea!!
@Claire Marie I’m not even expecting and I have a whole list of baby boy names! I’d love to share if you want :)
My nephews are Caleb . Silas .blake .landon , Jacob . Daniel an philly
i would love this!!!!!
Seriously was about to cry when James was sharing his concern and fear about the birth. He’s such a good husband 🥺❤️
"I don't want to be vanilla!" Carys says as she sits there drinking/eating a vanilla milkshake 🤣
Carys was such a sweetheart when answering the question about money/career etc. U are both so careful with the way u answer the assumptions. Yeah I’d do anything to shell out that money if this is true

I always recommend getting feeding down before you go home, it's so good for dad's to be involved especially if you decide to breastfeed

I just realized your due date is 4/3/21 (if you write the date US style) That is so fun!! 4,3,2,1! What a great (potential) birthdate ☺️☺️
Haha I love this ☺️
I did hypnobirthing and it was phenomenal for my mind set, really recommend LOTS of practice of the breathing techniques so it’s like muscle memory before the actual birth, really helpful for the overwhelming moments

In the beginning of this video Carys seems to just be nodding along eating the cheesy chips 🤣🤣 love it 💖
One thing I'm really glad we did before baby arrived was discuss our "worst case scenarios" and have a "plan" for what would happen. Hopefully those things never happen but they did for us and it helped so much xxx
You guys make it so obvious how grateful you are everyday! If you said it anymore it would be so annoying hahaha you guys are so special and so much fun to watch don’t put so much pressure on yourselves cxx

“Just a pre warning, I will talk with my mouth open”...
Well I’d like to see you try talk with your mouth closed Carys, there’s a trick 🤣🤣
I feel like everytime I watch a mukbang, people say something like that and the other person doesn't notice 🤣 or they say "sorry, I'm gonna eat with my mouth full.. like yeah of course you are" LOOL

Omggggg you guys are such a fun duo ligit haven’t even watched the first 5 minutes 😂
Aw that’s so kind! Enjoy!!
I had one! Omg James talking about the birth, James your everyone husband now
Random question, but is James’ opinion on fancy dress and costumes different towards babies as it is to adults ? 😂 e.g Christmas elf outfits, character dress up
Even James can’t be against their adorable little bubba in a tiny pumpkin costume 😂❤️
We travel with our 3 children (6,4, almost 2) and it’s absolutely fine! Obviously no plane holidays this year but we do usually from when they are 4 or 5 months old & we go camping / cottage holidays / Center parcs etc. I wouldn’t change it for the world! Carys is sounding more and more Welsh in every new video and I’m HERE for it 😍🙌🏼

Definitely do a maternity photo shoot. I felt amazing at mine. It is an experience to just feel maternal and in tune with your baby.

I'm 25 and have my 3 beautiful babies with my husband, I have a girl who is 5 and she is so protective of her 2 younger brothers who are 2 and 1, they fight like cat and dog so totally agree with having the dynamic of a girl and a boy.
I laughed way to much at “we’re taking you to Disney land Paris” 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Congrats! I saw you guys out walking about two weeks ago and you were both glowing xx
3rd trimester is the hardest and 2nd is the best😍 getting to feel the kicks and movements
OMG!! When I was pregnant with my son, I ATE CHEESE ALLLLL DAYYY LONG!! Maybe one of those old wives tales!!! 🤣😂
No matter the gender, I hope the sweet little one has a cool, unique name like Carys.
Carys is a lovely name, it isn’t that rare here in wales tho x
