Thank you so much for commenting! I'm sorry but you can only do it on a bicycle or a regular scooter or a car. I can imagine It would be super fun on an electric scooter though lol. I've heard of some people who make ¥500,000/month in Tokyo. ¥500,000 is about 5,000 USD so not bad at all. But I've also heard that to maximize your salary you need to do it on a (regular) scooter.
I asked some foreign friends in Tokyo. Besides Uber eats, Making Lunch boxes to sell at convenient stores, working at factories came up. There are places you can work but still, many more choices if you speak Japanese !

The 28 hour per week labor rule is for exchange students in japan. I have many friends that work for Uber so Yes, students are allowed to work for Uber.
