Went about the day as usual with the occasional disconnect as the realisation she's dead intruded. She was a constant in our lives, always there whether we agree with the monarchy or not. RIP.

This day was so memorable. I thought it would just be a normal day. I didnt remember seeing anything about her health on BBC Breakfast. I came back from school to see my 25 year old brother have BBC news on which was odd for a few reasons. 1. Why was BBC news on at 4pm? 2. My brother would never watch the news at that time. And i remember making myself a pot noodle and sitting down watching BBC 1 and i realised it was about the queens health. I left it at that. I remember this tho. I was downstairs watching Hollyoaks, My mum was upstairs watching the athletics on BBC 2 and my brother was in the kicthen cooking dinner and washing the dishes listening to BBC Radio. I remember hearing my mum say THE QUEEN DIED!!! and i was like wtf?? and my brother also heard it on BBC Radio. Then I ran upstairs to have a look and it was true. Then we all came downstairs and channel 4 interrupted Hollyoaks which i was like huh? I thought it was a glitch or something. but no. We had the announcement. My snap and instagram stories were covered with the queens death. I was shocked. I was upset but also pissed since they interrupted my show and the athletics. That day, We had takeaway instead of cooking. Watching BBC tell us.TBH i didnt even have to know the queen was dead. As soon as i saw Huw Edwards in black, That wouldve said enough. RIP Elizabeth

I started the day looking at Twitter. The satirical magazine Private Eye tweeted about an article from the current edition talking about the Queen's health and that the palace was in denial. The replies to that tweet were, as you would expect, that such a notion was premature. There was no inkling at that point and the early afternoon announcement about the Queen's health was yet to come - let alone the events that evening. The news presenters across all channels started to dress in black as a preemptive move - as part of regularly rehearsed plans. The wider public events were referred to as Operation London Bridge.

A black Landrover with a radiant, newly crowned Queen and her Prince consort passed within 20 ft of me at Parramatta Park in Cairns in 1954. My Cairns State High School Army cadet boots were too big, so were the shorts.....but what an exciting day it was.....for everybody who experienced that extraordinary event, And as HMAS Anzac sailed out of Trinity Bay, 10000 people sang " Will ye no come back again". God Save the King.

Scott Morrison, as the King of the United Kingdom, Australia, New Zealand, Canada and the rest, would be a disaster for the future of the Crown... The first thing KING SCOMO the First could do is to nominate Brian Houston, the disgraced former Hillsong Church leader, as the new Archbishop of Canterbury... The royals do not lift a finger to help themselves or others. 1,200 staff at Buckingham Palace cater to their every whim, while another 450 staff maintain the royal estates. Prince Charles alone has 132 personal staffers. The British working class also cover the cost of the royal train (£200,000 a year), the royal helicopter (£3 million) and the estimated £200 million for the building of a new royal “yacht” due to launch in 2025. Feeding the royal family and providing them with drink costs another £1.4 million
All this while more and more British people suffer from malnutrition and charities are run off their feet handing out food parcels. When the royals are racking up an annual electricity and gas bill of £2 million, tens of thousands of their subjects die each winter for lack of heating. The best medical care in the world kept the Queen and Prince Philip alive well into their 90s, while the working class in Manchester, Liverpool and Newcastle die on average two decades earlier.

The Memories Joke of Dementia Client Mrs Barbara Steisand
The Queen formed the moral fibre of English society in the 20th Century. So it seemed fitting that she is laid to rest in Balmoral.
She had problems with her bowels though she never uttered a word of the pain in the pleasure of her existence as sovereign definer in an increasingly turbulent world.
The diverticular disease finally took its' toll and then she could barely walk without grunting in pain as the poor Lass doubled over often in the halls of Buckingham Palace.
She relaxed and listened to John FarmHam Jam who received a 'Get Well' card from the Late Her Royal Highness whom We all simply called, 'Mam'.
John was upset when He realised that it was her time to receive the Lethal Injection advised by the Faculty of Medicine.
So it is quite lamentable that I must report to you my good Sir that England's Rosyist Posey has left our field of Californian pie in the sky dreams forever.
    God Save the King.

    I wouldn’t mock anyone’s death.
But personally I care about as much about the queen dying as I do any random old lady down the road dying.
The monarchy represents a lot of what is wrong with the world. The rolling coverage and royalty-porn the media engages in is frankly disgusting.
The royals are as meaningless, hollow and completely morally bankrupt as the entire political ruling class of Australia and almost every other major Nation.
Ask yourselves where all these castles/jewels/properties and massive wealth the royal family has ultimately came from. Hint: it wasn’t from working hard. They’re not good people.
