Before the big OCTA strike , OCTA was a lot better back in old days.

OCTA was a lot better, fleetwise too. Back in the day there was so much diversity in the bus fleet. Gilligs, many types of New Flyers (Such as D40s, both high and low floor), and NABI's would be just among the buses that you'd see back then.
Now the entire mainline fleet is composed of CNG powered Xcelsiors and C40LFR's. The only type different is 1101, an ElDorado, but thats all thats different in terms of bus manufacture. Only 20 D40LF's remain in our fleet and those are only used on training and for the Stuff A Bus charity event. Honestly, I wish we had our diverse fleet back.

I agree Sometimes I would just take any route that had Gillig phantom bus or the 5000-5039 series busses cause that's how much I love those busses I was at
Newport Transportation Center after taking route 79 Gillig phantom #4220 I was going to take 7209 Route 57 and I saw a 5028 Bus Route 1 to San Clemente I took it got off last stop and Waited for it to take me to Long Beach then I got the 5035 Route 60 back home to Santa Ana that was an Amazing Day for me Memories
