    Thank you so much for showcasing my system. Just one small remark: The sound (especially the bass) will be way better, if the speaker is mounted inside a housing, which should be as large as possible. I usually 3D print them as you can see in my videos.

      Thank you! I’m going to print some housings soon! I should be able to fit them on my TRX and the kenworth sleeper, not enough room in my daycab unfortunately. Your work is amazing, thanks so much for sharing it.

    Could you make a build video on all the parts needed to make the sound kit and how to assemble it? I think one with two stroke sounds would be awesome in the skeeride sled

      I’ve had that same thought! There is a video on thediyguy999 RUclips showing assembling the main board. I’ll try to put together a video covering all of the parts needed when I get the time though. It is a great system.

    PLEASE! I've been struggling trying to find out how to set up S-BUS in the FS-i6X... I can't get hold of anyone who doesn't use it in a Drone. It's been NO HELP in setting up my Beier USM-RC-3 to run on S-Bus, on my FS-i6X. Could you please tell this Old Fart how?? 😊

      If I remember correctly it’s just a matter of enabling it in the transmitter and then plugging into the sbus port on the receiver. I’d be happy to help if I can. I don’t have the Beier but it shouldn’t be too different. Contact me on my discord channel and it’ll be easier to chat. discord.gg/kdeJXGGs

      Thanks. Most information I've got so far!
      I AM really Tech STUPID!! 🙄😜
      Don't even know what a discord IS.
      If it's a pay thing, I'm afraid I can't. We're having a rough 2 months...

      Discord is an app you can put on your phone, tablet, or computer. It is free, you just need to create an account. It is an easy way to message and share pictures with people. If you click on the link in my previous reply it should take you to where you can get started setting up an account. You don't need to do it, but if you do I can help in a much faster way. Through there I could provide pictures and instructions to better help you get setup.
      Here's hopefully something to get you started with your FS-i6X
      hold OK to go to menu
      Scroll down to RX Setup - then select Output Mode
      Set output to PPM and Serial to i-Bus
      Then Hold "Cancel" to save - I know that seems odd, but it's how they work.
      That Should have you working with the serial port on your receiver.

    That system is so awesome.
    I use it in all my vehicles too💪

    Very cool video! I have the same system in both my Scania and Kenworth and it works brilliantly! Fitted the compact version to a RC4WD excavator the weekend! Works just as awesome! Still want to fit one to my TRX4…. It is just a brilliant versatile system!

      Thanks. I completely agree, the system is fantastic. Hopefully more people will find it and get to appreciate the great work that’s gone into it.

    I've used "TheDIYGuy999"'s ESP32 sound/motion modules in my 1/10th scale tanks and Truck, they are great units!

    How can I get the body I use to own a 1999 brand new 75th anniversary edition

    • @BuildItBetter3D
      @BuildItBetter3D  3 года назад

      You can buy the files and 3D print the body. Files are here: www.myminifactory.com/object/3d-print-1-14-scale-keny-with-chassis-bundle-192729

    I still cant seem to get this to work lol , i changed the signal input on the code to basic pwm , im just not using the pcb but just plugging the esp32 onto a breadboard. Maybe my amp is bad idk. Theres two output signal pins right ?

      I’m not sure. I built mine following the diyguys video and the instructions included. I don’t fully know how it all works, so I can’t be much help with troubleshooting.

    Hi, any chance of seeing any other trucks be designed?? Would love to see an early 2006 freightliner argosy or a few Volvo FHs??

    • @BuildItBetter3D
      @BuildItBetter3D  2 года назад +1

      Yes! That is the plan. I designed the chassis to be modular so that it would be easy to build with different cabs. I have many cabs I would like to design for it. Winter keeps me pretty busy with the SkeeRide stuff but once that calms down I will get back to trucks and trailers.

    • @kingstonjunctionmodelrailway
      @kingstonjunctionmodelrailway 2 года назад

      @@BuildItBetter3D Great! Can't wait to see what you come up with! Especially the trailers would be interesting if you could incorporate the modular design? 🤔

    • @BuildItBetter3D
      @BuildItBetter3D  2 года назад +1

      Thanks. Yes, modular for the trailers too. I’ve got a frame working right now that is modular. Currently it’s easy to make it 28,45, or 53ft. It’s a flat deck at the moment but I want to make the top interchangeable also, at least for the different trailer types that use the same frame type.
