I love the chuckle when you drove by Las Vegas! The fish were so close when you were snorkling by the ship wreck! That beach definitely looks lie the best one of the trip so far! Again those drone shots are freaking amazing!

Hey Matthew. I've been on a dozen cruises and never heard of a 7 day cruise that stopped in all these ports. Especially Barbados. Great itinerary. Btw, love binge watching your vids. Very nice.

Ha, I remember guessing from your pic. I used to work on refitting cruise ships. Looks as I remember it. Used to travel round the Caribbean new port every morning, go explore, few beers and some food. Back for a few hours sleep then work Nightshift and do it all again the next day. Good times 😎

Barbados is my favorite cruise port. I go to Carlisle bay as well but skip the Boatyard and go a little further down. It's less crowded. That sand is like white sugar! 🏝💜

We spent a week in Barbados in March just before it all kicked off, and we went to the boatyard twice. For people staying on the island, their $30US entry comes with $22.50US of credit for the bar, good for a drink and food. It's great value, even more so when you factor in the activities

I worked on a cruise ship ...it was boatyard day every 2 wed ...loved that place !!!
I worked on cruise ships too. The boatyard was top tier crew spot. Loved that sand. So crazy fine and soft. Beach volleyball at the boatyard was a favorite. Possibly my best beach spot of all the places i went.

Barbados is an Island of two halves
The other half is lush and green and the place to visit is Bathsheba
I’ve Cruised but you are never in one place long enough to appreciate the Islands.
Visited Barbados more times than anywhere else and back again in March

Matthew, all the beaches on the Caribbean side of Barbados have super nice sand, and many are much longer with very few people. Minimal admission fees too. Barbados is the best!

Yeah also won't be swimming with all those fish , they looked soo close ! Lol il leave that up to my hubby but that water really does look temping.... Maybe if I close my eyes those fish won't be an issue😅

My wife and kids and I arrived in Barbados on Sept 6th this year and checked out the boatyard the next day and loved it so much, we went there every day for the entire week. We just missed seeing you there.
Easily the best beach in Barbados. Kids and I had a blast diving and swinging from the pier, climbing the inflatables. Went on the snorkel excursions every day.
The staff treated us like family the entire week we all became friends. On our last day, they gave us $50 worth of credits to use to show their appreciation of our patronage.
The Boatyard really MADE our entire trip. We stayed at the Hilton, just a mile away on the same bay but that place was boring compared to the Boatyard. Nice resort though.
We will be back and will spend our days at The Boatyard again.

Try another island to get more experience. There are plenty with lots of variety of activities to choose from.
Jamaica has several waterfalls that families can climb. They have reefs too.

Barbados has the Jolly Roger which is a boat made to be a pirate ship. They make 2 stops and the first is where you were snorkeling. You are right about the amount of people that you're snorkeling with!
The second stop was in front of a large resort where we had lunch cooked on the ship and the food wasn't too bad. After eating you can swim or get on their rope swing. Beautiful water and the perfect temperature.
Oh no I almost forgot that drinks on your cruise are free and you can drink until you get back. Rum punch or pineapple coconut are the choices! The bartender doesn't waste the pineapple juice so you will be able to taste the coconut rum without too much pineapple! They have been doing this for thirty or more years and they have a large number of return guests.
That sounds like a great time. Would love to try that sometime

you can do other things too you don't need to go swim!
I was on a cruise and played bingo too. I kept losing each time I played until the last game of bingo. The winner was the person with the worst card. I won $250 on that game.
