Next time you should visit Timothy beach, Brimstone Hill and Sky Safari. Maybe get an island tour on the scenic railway...also you should probably try another tour guide. Take a trip to the Volcano, maybe visit some rainforests or swim with the dolphins at Bird Rock beach hotel. Just have fun!
Honestly Matthew, you should start your own travel company. With the aerial views you do and and the honest evaluations of each place you were made for this. The fact that you are so picky about the beaches and you give an honest opinion is probably why you have such a strong following that keeps growing! Keep up the great work and never stop being picky, you paid for it, you deserve the best!

I went to Cockleshell/reggae beach like you the first time I went to Kitts. The next visit I just did an island tour that was offered as we stepped off the ship that was like $25 dollars and they took us to Carambola beach club after the tour, which I preferred over Cockleshell/reggae.

Yes there must be rest rooms.You can't get restaurant license to operate in a premises without rest rooms. When you apply for restaurant license, a copy of the application goes to the health department who send inspectors to inspect the place. The police also gets a copy.

I live here and the snorkeling at Shitten Bay or even down by Reggae Bar is much better! Monkeys can be seen at Shipwreck bar where I also see people snorkeling.
Friars bay is my go to beach club in St. Kitts. Great sheltered cove and modern facilities ( food and washrooms)

You should invest in swim shoes, they make an amazing difference when walking on the sand and in the ocean
for a place like this that would of been perfect
Does these guys know that even if a hurricane don't score a direct hit on the island it destroys the beach and it takes a while for it to repair itself? After three or four hurricanes pass to the north or south of the island, there is hardly any beach left at all.
Brimstone Hill Fortress is a nice place to visit as well as Mt. Liamigua. The sea is generally murky after a good rain shower due to the fresh water running into the sea along with soil erosion.

We took this same cruise in June. Highly recommend zip lining in St. Kitts. We did that first thing in the morning and then took a cab to shipwreck beach bar for lunch and beach time. It was an awesome day!!!

Hi Matthew. Nice of the cab driver to show you a nice view on the island. A nice if you just want to kick back and relax. At least you didn't have to drag your beach chair. Hard to believe you weren't that hungry after waking up, especially seeing what you ate for dinner. LOL. Congrats on the double up.Thanks for sharing.

Love your stops. Big fan of St Thomas and St Marteen but never been to Kits or Lucia. Now that we have young kids we usually just do the free beaches at most ports when we cruise. So nice and easy and kids love it.

That beach would be perfect for some treasure hunting. Just need a small metal detector and you should find some good stuff that all those tourists lost.

I agree. The beach aint that great - not ideal for snorkeling. I like the water crystal clear. I have a 7 night cruise that makes 6 stops and I think I'll just walk around a bit then get back on the ship. Skip the beach.
I know your being picky for us as viewers to let us know which places are the best to go to for cruises but it would be nice if your more honest with everyone about the different places that you go to and give your honest opinions about them but then again everyone has their own opinions of the places that they go to and if they like it or not or if its okay. Glad y'all are enjoying the cruise so far and enjoying the food that's on the cruise as well.I do have to say it must be nice to do a lot of traveling and seeing new places and experiencing new places as well.

There are restrooms. He didn't ask, I used the restrooms there in 2018.

I'm from Florida but my parents are from there.
We visited St Kitts and loads of the locals were saying go to Cockleshell beach. We ended up going to South Friars after seeing this video. Unsure though if you got unlucky with the snorkelling? I have subscribed, if you will consider subscribing
I appreciate you being "picky" I wouldnt have liked that beach either. Im still looking for somethings to do for the day. I am from NJ so beach days are common. My favorite stop so far on beach has been Bermuda and St Lucia.

@@SayHiToMatthew the beach is called cockelshell beach because its made up of lots of many different type of shell thats why is called cockelshell beach , but there are other beaches with sand and sand only ..

FYI I don't recommend this but you can use your cruise card for the casino you don't need cash. Caution very easy way to over spend.

I lived on St kitts too, went to school there, worked there, then moved to the UK. I went back after 5 years being away and it was so boring and dead

Not picky at all. Con: Not impressed by Cockleshell beach at all...if you go a little further out in the water..the sand feels like jello.😳 Didn't see one fish..that black sand..no bueno...crappy chairs. Stay in the middle..the far end is too rocky and didnt make me happy.. Pro: drinks and conch fritters!! Yummy!!

HA HA so now you know nature sucks and those nice beaches with the soft sand are all man made for tourism. Also not having access to restrooms is BAD but that happens everywhere. Vending machines and stores want to sell a nice drink but when you need to get rid of it there's no place to go, realizing all those nice clean restrooms in Las Vegas casinos are there for a reason. To stay and keep gambling.
