This is Shark Week on The Discovery channel, and I enjoy some good wildlife documentaries, but I'm sorry sharks, Manon de Reeper's Lorna Shore Week is where it's at!!!!
As for the slow movements on the narrative and more frantic on the band I interpreted this also to reflect the his apparent calm in the physical world and the turmoil inside his head. So the band, and the shots of them, represent the chaos inside the protagonists mind.
The rain in part one is grief, the snow in part two is numbness, the fire in number 3 is anger.
You know I didn't get the numbness aspect until reading your comment. It all falls into place thank you

The 3 parts are one continuous song on the album, so that’s why the cutoffs are so sharp at the ends of the first two parts.
