Happy 4 years! I’ve been a hop-on for most of that time (sorry about the potato chip crumbs in the back) and am very grateful to know you. I think you’re both great.
Congrats guys🥃 So happy for you and crazy it’s been 4yrs already! Time flys when you’re having fun! Been an absolutely fun ride from the 1st Hop On, Cheers🥃
Congrats on four years! Your channel was the very first one I found on Whiskey-tube and I got hooked, so thank you! In case you are interested, the Chicago Bourbon Club is doing an Elijah Craig tasting for the release of their pick at Brownstone Tavern this Thursday 11/14. Hope you enjoy your stay here, cheers!
Thanks Mauricio! We used to live in that neighborhood. Thanks for the invite! We'll try to make it over there! Do they still do 1/2 price bourbon Tuesdays at Brownstone? Cheers!
@Awesome, had no idea! Absolutely they still do 1/2 off Tuesdays! Have some great pours available too! I don’t live in the are, or I would be there every Tuesday at least 😂!
Julie: “Age for me isn’t always my favorite.” 🥃 Thank you for saying it out loud! It’s a significant corrective for all whiskey drinkers. And although at first glance it seems rather equivocal, it allows for when age does absolutely make a difference AND is worth the markup, and for when, well, it just doesn’t always deliver. For example, my fave Laphroaig has a rather gutsy, rough, blue-collar peaty asphalt hit in the 10-year, but as you get to higher ages that hit rounds out to a nudge. I personally like getting bashed and tasting peat and ash the next day, so prefer the lower ages, the real bangers. I won’t turn down a L25 or L28 😅 but it’s more of a genteel, nuanced experience. In the end, it’s our personal tastes and preferences that matter, not an elitist fixation on a number. Congratulations on 4 years! 🎉
Congratulations on 4 years. Thanks for the outro of Norman. I take great offense that you think we are only here for the cat. I love your 5 sip Fridays, your unique tasting notes, your incredible athletic achievements....wait a sec you were rear ended?!? Is Mavis OK???
Oh dang, you were at Whiskey Acres? I'm only about 45 minutes east of there! I also just picked up a Tokaji finished cask strength rye of theirs from Binnys on Friday!
Additionally, if they still have the Traverse City single barrel (if I remember correctly) that they rescued from a local deal gone bad, go for it. Embrace the cinnamon.
Look, it's Phil Bieber!!! 🤩 Happy Bourboversary! 🥃

Simply to be visited by your well-dressed avatar from time to time is all we need to remain inspired!

I love their rye!
Cheers to 4 years 🥃. Thanks for all the great content. Have enjoyed the ride with you. Wondering, did you sell your house in Bend? Fully mobile now ?
Currently renting it out while we're away.

Cats are the best
Phil in 2020: Let’s start a RUclips channel and I won’t cut my hair til we reach 13k subs.
Phil in 2024: Uh oh.
I should have been saying, "please subscribe" during every video. If I was better at self-promotion, I'd have a crewcut by now!
Hi, G Man here. I understand safety... can I ask what part of town are you in? Are you near the bar we spoke about?
G Man! Edgewater/Andersonville. Been over there twice already since we've been here.
Go to Delilah's for a pour and pinch Mike Miller for me.
Additionally, if they still have the Traverse City single barrel (if I remember correctly) that they rescued from a local deal gone bad, go for it. Embrace the cinnamon.
We love Delilah's, and we'll definitely head over at some point. We'll leave the pinching to Julie.
