Came for the whiskey; stayed for the back-and-forth. I love how the two of you interact; you play off eachother well! Oh, and I also enjoy the whiskey review too!
I haven’t had the BiB, but their double oaked is out of this world! The only way I even heard of Crttenden’s or was able to get a bottle was through Brewzle 😁
I was a skeptic at fist. I mean, kiln ms making bourbon? Local shop had their cut above for $22 one day. Wow was it good. Then I picked up their Cliff’s pick double oak single barrel. Yowza is fantastic. Picked up the toasted pecan and it’s outstanding. Matt and his crew are doing amazing things. True distillers making bourbon that rivals anything on the market.
Since i’m just 2hrs away from MS, store in front of my neighborhood has a few different Crittenden selections. A bou-rye, amburana finish, store pick, and a few others. All my buddies loved the pecan pie Crittenden
Cheers guys! I can't complain about this bottle for the price. Good springboard for all of the crazy finishes they do. Oh and the mashbill is 72 Corn / 17 Rye / 11 MB .
Pretty local distillery for me. I’ve had their BiB and a Double Oak barrel pick. Both were excellent and worth the money. My DO is 119 proof and drinks under 100.
I lived in Kiln, MS for a few years before hurricane Katrina. Some fun facts, its actually pronounced like "Kill" and Brett Favre is from there. I picked up a store pick from City Limits over in Gulfport, MS and really like it. Its 121.92 proof, 4 years, and the mashbill is 11% barley, 17% rye, and 72% corn. Cheers!
First I love the dynamic between you both. Second I have watched a few of your videos and the non edited (straight thru) versions I think really highlight what make you separate from other whiskey channels in terms of your real time interaction to each other - keep that up!
Stuff & Whisky Uncut Unfiltered 🥃 11:04 Some distilleries just don't release the mash bill - don't ask me why. I love the fact that Redemption puts the mash bill right on the front label (their wheated bourbon is *45%!* wheat - and boy is it delicious, no matter what Erin thinks of wheated bourbons 🙂).
Love the channel & the angle you approach bourbon. I don't see a lot of variety other than the popular shelf stuff; curious if there's an online website you would recommend for getting bourbon? Thank you & keep up the great material!!
Crittenden bourbon is crafted pretty nicely. I’ve only had their amburana and honey barrel finished bourbon but it’s a little easier and has good flavors
For me, Crittenden is the most “Kentucky” of the craft Deep South Distillers (TX, LA, MS, AL, GA, FL) that I’ve had. That being said..they do have a wide variety of mashbills and profiles…so maybe not very Kentucky on some of their stuff. The BiB offering is probably the softest offering with Crittenden’s. Amazing picks and a good amount of pretty tasty finished offerings. Matt Crittenden is sitting on a TON of aged bourbon and rye in different barrel profiles. I would suggest to pursue a pick with him. Cheers!!
The one bottle of TX bourbon that I've had (from Firestone & Robertson in Fort Worth) tasted exactly like Kentucky. If I had it in a blind I wouldn't be able to tell it's from Texas. Balcones Texas Pot Still Bourbon, OTOH, is one of the most distinctively Texas whiskies I've ever had - but then that's true of everything I've had from Balcones Distilling. 🙂
@@stuffandwhiskey idk why anyone would complain about seeing Erin in a lovely sweater for an extra 90 seconds. Or Josh in a nice tshirt if that’s more your thing 🙃

Ah when I saw the title I was hoping it would be the old soul tintype series. Those are very good!

Thanks so much for the incredibly kind words, Christian! Cheers and we appreciate you watching!
I live in MS and I really enjoy their offerings.
I was super impressed with them! One of the Brewzle picks was a rum finished rye! Absolutely great pick! Some of the best craft stuff I’ve had
You should review the Ben Holladay SRW Rickhouse Proof!
msrp in Alabama is $45
omg I so want to try candy corn flavored cotton candy now I love them both!
When will we have the next Guess That Glass?
Next Tuesday. It’s a fun one!
Awesome stuff as always!

We work a lot with Shared Pour and Keg n Bottle. Seelbachs, Bourbon Outfitter, Blackwell’s, and Mash and Grape are all great as well!
Cheers from Waterloo Spirit Chasers!
They make blue Bolt 248 that they distribute in Florida for around $ 60 which is really good.

It’s not bad but I’ve never seen it for $50. Usually around 33-37
live about 45 minutes away from the distillery and i believe it is a rye bourbon mash bill. Not sure the %.
WHISKEY CHEERS 😎
Look at some of their other bottles. They have some cool labels. BouRyRu, and MothMan.
May give it a try it I come across it, but I'm not going to actively hunt it.
BiB is not my jam but find a double oak or single barrel. Vastly better!
I agree the 5 yr DO is a banger
They put out some other offerings that are really nice.
Good video, but could have used a little trimming. Thanks!
You missed the immediate announcement it was airing unedited I take it?
😂😂 we usually do but this was specifically recorded uncut.
