If Jimmy Butler loved Embiid, he would've not said he wanted to stay in Miami. Jimmy don't want to play second fiddle to Embiid, nor does he need Embiid to get to the finals he already proved that he don't. Jimmy wants his team like he has in Miami, not a team where he has to take the backseat.

Seriously... There was a time where they drafted a Center with their first pick 3 straight years during a rebuild.
They signed Tobias Harris over Jimmy Butler when Jimmy Butler was clearly the go-to guy in the playoffs where they eventually lost to Toronto.
They Let "TJ McConnell" walk....
They blow up a very young promising team after losing a playoffs series against a stacked Celtics team with KG, Paul Pierce, and Ray Allen.
