Thank you so much for posting this. That is such a beautiful car. My dad has one, and my mother always used to drive me around in it growing up. It has the best sounding engine ever and I'm going to miss it if we have to get rid of it. He just passed away. I asked my mother if I could go up and take it for a drive sometime before just in case.
Lets say it has most of the body work done...Needs paint, full interior, engine/trans rebuilt and engine compartment freshened. Ball park price if you do all the work yourself except for paint.
lol well, you can spend a butt load of money in new parts. sooo, if you want to do it, do it right. its always hard to judge what a project is when you're buying someones headache. do what i wish i did. buy something you want and buy it to tear down alll the way to the frame. theres a lot of time, tools, help, money, resources involed in making something like this get off the ground. dont get frustrated, people will want to help bc of the corvette legacy.
beautiful car congratulations, but, its very short the differencial!,put a 3,07:1 ,or 2,87:1,or 2,72:1! with any of this relations your car acceleratig(shure), more an can more top speed, again congratulations!

Oh god I WANT YOUR VETTE !
What an absolute beast of a car. Sounds amazing too.
What axle ratio is it running? 4.11?
nice vette
@americanrealist1 No I have not. Im working on becoming an Auto Tech and bringing in one of these babys to fix up would be sweet.
@SmokenAces88 It all depends on the condition of the car you're looking to buy. Have you ever restored a car before?

Jesus, what 486's?
How much money would it take to restore one of these things if you do all the work by yourself?
did you have a window motor issue?
Is this in lima?
