G1 toy Optimus has a lot of stuff for a deluxe, two rifles, the hand axe, matrix and rubber tires. They seemed to have had infinite budget for the little man.
They did confirm that the buzzsaw we saw is not the finalized version, the one we saw was a very early prototype they made while trying to find the right pigments to use
Would have been nice to have a go-bots accurate pathfinder, but I'm pretty sure hasbro legally can't. Something along the lines of, they own the characters but any toy accurate designs (not counting any additions made by the cartoon) belong to go-bots OG owners

Xaaron and Flame are worth it if you've read the UK stories. I wanted a Slipstream. My daughter ASKED Ben, Evan, and Mark FOR a Slipstream, but I don't like how little retooling went into the Windblade mold here. I will get the figure but I hope there's a worthy upgrade kit that makes her more Animated with the chest, wings, and where the shoulder cannons go. The Soundwave was HEAVILY requested by people for its obscurity and I would have preferred an SS86 of him. I already have the figure so it makes me a little miffed that its currently the only way to get a Buzzsaw. I'm with you on the rest as skip for me. I already have Metalhawk, don't have interest in the Go-Bots turned Transformers, and I have LITERALLY have Missing Link. Quake is a must though. I want to complete the Targetmasters.
What baffles me to no end is that Slipstream DOES have ports on the shoulders for the null rays, same as Windblade. But they're on the BACK of the shoulders. THE SAME AS WINDBLADE. And they didn't even think to move them to the sides at all for her?!
the colour scheme for Armada Galvatron is supposedly loosely based off BW2 Galvatron, which honestly just makes me want to see what happens with a Leo Convoy coloured Armada Prime
One of my main gripes with quake is a massive nitpick... i wish they kept the massive shoulder cannon that the titans return one had. I am a huge sucker for shoulder cannons
I’m not mad to be getting a rerelease of Soundwave I’m just upset that they weren’t going to include every cassette, which is what they should have done to really justify leader price, or include Laserbeak as well, since he’s, you know, his main cassette
I just love how the UK Pulse just got some of the stuff wrong for him, for example he is listed as a voyager rather than a leader and Rumble is listed as “Rumbler” for some reason?
I saw a post on Instagram from prime vs prime where he scaled the Bayverse leader class Optimus next to the "leader" class soundwave and he said what a joke and I agree because back then Bayverse figures dwarfed todays TF figures including Bayverse figures. some people debated on it being a voyager while others defended it mainly because of the cassettes which makes no sense
That's funny, I prefer the Armada Galvatron colors over Megatron by a wide margin. The white, purple, and burgundy really works for me. Purple is also my favorite color, so maybe that's part of why.

Since she's a repaint of Windblade, like her first toy in Takara Legends, I'm sticking with that origin. She fled the Animated Universe, thanks to her interdimensional gyro-rotors, and ended up in the Takara Legends universe. Then somehow ended up here in the Legacy multiverse. And for her to have her null rays to be underslung in the portholes under her arms will look cool. -Quake here with his targetmasters Heater and Tiptop looks neat. Sadly yes a marvel comics version of Soundwave with the hideous face would have been better. I barely know who those last two are myself, I just kind of more know all OF them.
1:07 Hasbro can’t use the original Pathfinder design because they don’t own the rights to the original toy’s likeness, Bandai does. They only own the fiction and characters so don’t expect ANY faithful Gobots anytime soon. Unless they’re made into repaints like the boxset this three pack was based on.
WHAT MAKES ME MAD IS THAT THEY DIDN'T RETOOL THE ARMS, SKIRT, AND LOWER LEGS AT ALL. Those were the only problems. Could've been fixed from the beginning. It's G1 Soundwave, you can't mess it up unless you halfass it, the base transformation's already perfect. I want a Voyager Soundwave. But this ain't it. I hope we get a G1 Soundwave with enhanced articulation cause that's where we're at right now.

Last-wave toys in a given line are often mostly repaints and low-effort remolds, plus a gem or two that become grail toys for their rarity... I'm with you on most everything but the Flame/Xaaron set being meh at best, but that's the very reaction that leads to stores not ordering much of last-waves, and in turn reinforces Hasbro not putting the effort in (except for Quake, they went weirdly hard on that guy) when it comes time to decide what will be offered and when. WRT Missing Link Optimus at Home, though, according to the stream he's compatible with "most" recent OP trailers, which probabl;y means the Earthrise box and G2 tanker. Maybe we'll finally have a cab that looks in scale with the Earthrise trailer, at least?
I swear the previous lines of legacy had a bit more going on with their final waves. I would assume that he will be compatible with the Earthrise one yes.
Armada Galvatron really has me excited - I for one really like the colour scheme, the deep red, white and purple just go so well together imo. That, and I already really like the original Legacy Armada Megatron figure, so any redecoes and other reuses of it are A-OK in my book. I’m a bit mixed on United Soundwave - I definitely feel that they should’ve at least retooled the arms. But at the same time it means I can offload my badly yellowed original Netflix Soundwave and finally get Buzzsaw and Rumble figures in my collection too. I do hope they can do a different Soundwave for the toyline next though, since all the Legacy Soundwave figures are literally just re-releases or redecoes of the Soundwave toys from the WFC Trilogu. Like come on HasTak, give us that sci-fi styled stealth bomber Cybertron Soundwave design as a new figure, that’d be an awesome voyager or leader class figure. The Comic Edition 2 pack has me excited too. This and Straxus are must haves for me, especially since the Xaaron figure will go well with my figures of other Wreckers like my Siege Impactor and Legacy G1 Sandstorm, and Straxus will look good with other Decepticon/Predacon leader figures like Siege Megatron, Kingdom Galvatron, Legacy TM2 Megatron, Magmatron and Armada Megatron. Would really love some more non-Megatron G1 Decepticon leaders/commanders to get new figures with Straxus getting a new figure. A commander class Thunderwing would go so hard fr.
Hi, demographic of TFA Motormaster here, man am I excited to get that figure, the original release was a Botcon exclusive, and I just love the character of Motormaster, so this will definitely fill the hole in my collection that was put there by the reveal of Legacy Motormaster, also in the image you used I love how they use the headlights to buff up the axe a bit, it won't help at all, but it's the type of thing Motormaster would do to seem cooler
Yeah totally understandable, I get the people who do want it. That person just isn't me. And it was unobtanium before so I fully support this release even if it's not something I want to grab.
If I was in charge of the transformers team at hasbro I would have changed straxis from the comic line to a lavender soundwave and packaged him in with buzzsaw enemy and howlback that way you have a deep cut colour scheme with a wanted cassette, two obscure cassette and a bigger leader class in the main line. Make sense?
Wow, Perspective hit the nail on the head with all of these. The only reveal that I preordered was the Xaaron/Flame set. The rest all being cheap, half@ssed repainted disappointments.
All they had to do for Quake was repaint the Kingdom Slammer mold, which has never gotten a repaint. Instead, they blew a ton of money remolding the terrible Skullgrin mold into an equally terrible mold.
The Soundwave was an instant preorder for me, I missed out on it when it first released and I am happy I'm not paying scalper prices of 100+ for a figure that had really bad yellowing plastic issues. Finally had a proper to get a cassette Soundwave and a almost reasonable price. The Marvel Comic figures are probably the standouts of the whole wave.
Reminder, the actual Gobots designs can't be used. So we have to go an alt route like this. Hasbro owns the names and likeness, especially since they're going in on this and putting the Guardians symbol on the Pathfinder's flag piece and slapping on the Gobots logo onto the 3 pack's box. If they were to use designs that closer match the show or toys, lawsuit with Bandai would ensue because those are Machine Robo property. There is some canonical reason why they would look like a transformer here. The people who became the gobots have basically "transcended" their humanoid form, they're pure machine now so they can change from body to body just like that. So they are the same character, just in a new body.
I think that I will try to get this entire wave depending on if I get the original figures used for the repaints first. I’m definitely getting Soundwave and Optimus Prime though.
Here's the real problem, it's not just wave 4, wave 3, not counting the Titan and Commander, which are always excellent, is even MORE lazy. Only ONE new mold, and only THREE repaints. They couldn't even be bothered to make at least nine or seven of them, just four "new" figures for wave 3. Gotta say, I'm REALLY disappointed for legacy's final waves, how could you end legacy like this? One of the most ambitious things transformers has ever done, and you end it with this complete lack of effort of two back to back repaint waves.
Yeah, this whole line of reveals were lukewarm imo. Only one im getting is deluxe Missing Link Prime. I loved the udea when it was announced, but i didn't have the budget to spend 80. This lets me experience it at a much lower price.
I saw someone on instagram digibash the Quake mold into Bludgeon and I can actually see that work. A new head and chest and bam, you have the inner Pretender body of Bludgeon. I can see it work as that, since we've never been given a proper update of Bludgeon from his inner robot mode outside of the TFCC 2016 one
I thought Pathfinder would be a white Cosmos repaint instead. That’s just the colour I associate with the name, but any Color looks good on Cosmos! I’m definitely doing all I can to get the Gobot set since I don’t own any of the molds.
Thank dank there's at best only 2 things I want from this wave. Its good to finally not be going broke, and I can focus my purchasing on different places. Additionally, I already have the miasing link optimus so half of the things I want I dont even want that bad, and the other half is the core class galvatron.
As much repaints and Retools There is, I'm actually more interested in quake And Motormaster I did bought the commander class one because simply i can't afford the price is this will be my second chance I don't like the purple in his legs it just makes it looks he's wearing pants and shoes Ask for g1 prime that's looks amazing And the one i'm most looking forward to
WRT Slipstream's null rays, it looks like you can pop them into the inboard ports on the wings and have then in roughly the right place when her arms aren't extended too far, while for firing poses since Seekers pretty much straight arm it and she )probably) has wrist rotation from the look of it, rotating them do the inside-bicep port is out should work just fine, even if it doesn't look perfect due to the forearm then being on the wrong side.
that soundwave is so painful to me especially cause I hate massive massshifting when it vomes to alt mode plus Soundwave releasing in LEGACY means we get more g1 in legacy, again. I mean come on, out of all the versions of soundwave that could have received an update, we get the vanilla one ? like say what you want about the legacy stylization, at least the designs were unique, hell I think a legacy prime Soundwave could have been something interesting.

Goddamn I love slipstream. I actually like the windblade mold so the (almost) Skywarp colours make me very very happy, and the shiny teal was an INSPIRED decision. I love it.
I was disappointed by how little I wanted anything from this wave, but seeing as stores can barely be depended on to stock wave 1 of lines these days I suppose that’s for the best. Hopefully I can find a TR Quake cheap on the aftermarket from this though
I’m still getting Leader Soundwave, but i’m not happy about it. Yeah, I know it’s not a great mold, but I hunted it down for years and couldn’t find it when it was at walmart, so i’m happy to finally get it. i’ll probably enjoy it?
I’ve got both Missing Link Primes, and let me tell you I could not be more excited for the United Deluxe. ML and United are trying to do different things and I could not be more satisfied with both. I really hope that we get him as Magnus
It's funny to use the term ML because that usually refers to main line. I think there is an Upgrade Kit Company out there right now working on a Magnus Upgrade for one of these two primes.
I always see big transformers collections with some form of g1 Optimus prime, original, reissue, the Pepsi version, and I always wanted that, but know I finally have a chance to get one that won't cost like $100. And I can't wait for the hole in my collection to be filled
Optimus is pretty much my only want. On Armada Megatron, Aaron Archer has said the colour scheme is based on BW II Galvatron. I can't say I see it, but I don't like the cheapness of the paint apps here. The original had camo on it. I want a full sized Energon Galvatron, but the lack of clear plastics here looks cheap for that figure too. Probably not the case, done for durability sake, but somehow the colours look less appealing than the McDonalds toy. Actually on the colours, the tank should be Silver / Gray and they really should have hybridised the Hasbro and Takara releases. Both have great things about them, but are also lacking. Maybe too many paint hits necessary. We need the Black versions of Energon Megs. The Red and Black Japanese one and the cancelled Target Black and Green one. Those look great lol.
Wave 4 of United feels like everything was undercut so they could make Toy Optimus the best he could be. Slipstream’s a Windblade retool? Only swap out the weapons and head. Quake’s the last of the Decepticon Double Targetmasters? Retool a decidedly iffy mold instead of making a new mold. Need a second Voyager slot? Slap a recolor of Metalhawk, one of the worst shelfwarmers of the decade in. Fans want Earth mode Soundwave? Add in Frenzy, change Laserbeak to Buzzsaw, and charge $15 more than the original release. I’m certain toy Optimus is going to be fantastic. But is he really worth sacrificing an entire wave of product?
Hear me out, I am considering the Leader Soundwave. I want the cassettes, since I have waited a while for the Buzzsaw, despite his odd colors, and slapping some Toyhax labels and 3D printing some new arms for his may make Soundwave bearable.
i LOVE everything that was shown here even the soundwave repack (but i love the space craft of seige soundwave more and my dislike for leader class sometimes sooooo) but i hate thefact that treds the green warpath is in a multipack my mother wants the green boy
I’m in the same boat is nice to skip a good chunk of the wave. Like I’m only going to the Optimus and soundwave. Optimus is self explanatory, and the soundwave is the only easy to get.
Glad Sixo got to reveal the 2-pack and they look great, actual characters we never had before. Slipstream and Mortormaster for me are the two standouts. Yes they're repaints but I'm a suckered for darker/decepticon repaints plus Slipstream is my favorite seeker.
Number 1: buzzsaw is going to be a gold color, the design commentary said the muted bronze ish color was not the final colors. Number 2: here in canada, Soundwave was a leader, every Netflix voyager was priced at about $80, which was actually slightly higher than a leader at the time.

For me it's the opposite. I really wasn't interested in windblade but found it to be pretty good when I did get it, but this slipstream looks ATROCIOUS

I absolutely despise the new slipstream because they didn't even try to make her different then windblade because she's from "cyberverse" as well which is pethetic. It's seriously legacy prime breakdown all over again Like couldn't they atleast change the chest, wings, and nose cone? I mean ffs hasbro retooled the jhiaxus so well for vector prime yet not for slipstream? Like couldn't they make it to where her null rays slide and clip onto her arms like the generations version did? Either way the color is okay but the head is a mess. She has a forehead bigger than megatron Either way though you can not tell me that this is "cyberverse" slipstream. Because its not. Windblade was atleast a bit cyberverse like but slipstream isn't in any way If they could have retooled the chest the wings and the nose cone front of the jet to make it look like she did for her actual design then i would have wanted it But this is a figure i want out of my sight
I'd probably feel that way, if I didn't think it was such a visual upgrade. I mean the null rays will end up in roughly the same places thanks to the underside ports as where the generations did. It's not elegant but it works out to be about the same place.
I'm on the fence between getting the new soundwave and completing my cassettes, or buying the furai model kit and having a super cool looking soundwave instead. (I only have core class soundwave and want a too scale version)
Wait is this actually going to be its own mainline wave? This wave feels like something you'd see in a subline or something. We still don't have Armada Cyclonus and Demolsher and we still need some Animated Decepticons, I feel like they'll wear the geewunnification better than the Animated Autobots do.
I can't believe how many people are oogling over Quake and his tank mode. The standards are actually getting lower, there's no doubt about it. They're actually praising that garbage for looking so good. I want Energon Galvatron, I love the Core Energon Megs. Plus I'm kinda an Energon nostalgist, for the toys. I also want that Prime, I like it. Also, laughs in already having Earthrise Soundwave, Ravage, and Rumble and being okay with passing on Buzzsaw (plus that's got toy colors, they'll make a cartoon one sooner or later). Soundwave and Thundertron are the start of a VERY bad trend 86 Springer is aiding in. And everyone will just eat it up.
The Marvel Comic reveals were definitely the highlight, and Soundwaves EXACT SAME EYESORE FOREARMS are definitely the low point, seriously they’re charging leader price and they couldn’t even cut off those ugly tumors that do NOTHING

They only own the fiction and characters so don’t expect ANY faithful Gobots anytime soon. Unless they’re made into repaints like the boxset this three pack was based on.

Last-wave toys in a given line are often mostly repaints and low-effort remolds, plus a gem or two that become grail toys for their rarity... I'm with you on most everything but the Flame/Xaaron set being meh at best, but that's the very reaction that leads to stores not ordering much of last-waves, and in turn reinforces Hasbro not putting the effort in (except for Quake, they went weirdly hard on that guy) when it comes time to decide what will be offered and when.
WRT Missing Link Optimus at Home, though, according to the stream he's compatible with "most" recent OP trailers, which probabl;y means the Earthrise box and G2 tanker. Maybe we'll finally have a cab that looks in scale with the Earthrise trailer, at least?
I swear the previous lines of legacy had a bit more going on with their final waves.

Armada Galvatron really has me excited - I for one really like the colour scheme, the deep red, white and purple just go so well together imo. That, and I already really like the original Legacy Armada Megatron figure, so any redecoes and other reuses of it are A-OK in my book.
I’m a bit mixed on United Soundwave - I definitely feel that they should’ve at least retooled the arms. But at the same time it means I can offload my badly yellowed original Netflix Soundwave and finally get Buzzsaw and Rumble figures in my collection too. I do hope they can do a different Soundwave for the toyline next though, since all the Legacy Soundwave figures are literally just re-releases or redecoes of the Soundwave toys from the WFC Trilogu. Like come on HasTak, give us that sci-fi styled stealth bomber Cybertron Soundwave design as a new figure, that’d be an awesome voyager or leader class figure.
The Comic Edition 2 pack has me excited too. This and Straxus are must haves for me, especially since the Xaaron figure will go well with my figures of other Wreckers like my Siege Impactor and Legacy G1 Sandstorm, and Straxus will look good with other Decepticon/Predacon leader figures like Siege Megatron, Kingdom Galvatron, Legacy TM2 Megatron, Magmatron and Armada Megatron. Would really love some more non-Megatron G1 Decepticon leaders/commanders to get new figures with Straxus getting a new figure. A commander class Thunderwing would go so hard fr.
I think the best part about these reveals is that they got Sixo to reveal Xaaran and Flame since he's had Xaaran as his avatar for years.

Hi, demographic of TFA Motormaster here, man am I excited to get that figure, the original release was a Botcon exclusive, and I just love the character of Motormaster, so this will definitely fill the hole in my collection that was put there by the reveal of Legacy Motormaster, also in the image you used I love how they use the headlights to buff up the axe a bit, it won't help at all, but it's the type of thing Motormaster would do to seem cooler
Yeah totally understandable, I get the people who do want it. That person just isn't me. And it was unobtanium before so I fully support this release even if it's not something I want to grab.

If I was in charge of the transformers team at hasbro I would have changed straxis from the comic line to a lavender soundwave and packaged him in with buzzsaw enemy and howlback that way you have a deep cut colour scheme with a wanted cassette, two obscure cassette and a bigger leader class in the main line. Make sense?

All they had to do for Quake was repaint the Kingdom Slammer mold, which has never gotten a repaint. Instead, they blew a ton of money remolding the terrible Skullgrin mold into an equally terrible mold.
That probably would've worked out a lot better than what they did, though it still would then it quite flawed.
The Soundwave was an instant preorder for me, I missed out on it when it first released and I am happy I'm not paying scalper prices of 100+ for a figure that had really bad yellowing plastic issues. Finally had a proper to get a cassette Soundwave and a almost reasonable price. The Marvel Comic figures are probably the standouts of the whole wave.
Reminder, the actual Gobots designs can't be used. So we have to go an alt route like this. Hasbro owns the names and likeness, especially since they're going in on this and putting the Guardians symbol on the Pathfinder's flag piece and slapping on the Gobots logo onto the 3 pack's box. If they were to use designs that closer match the show or toys, lawsuit with Bandai would ensue because those are Machine Robo property.
There is some canonical reason why they would look like a transformer here. The people who became the gobots have basically "transcended" their humanoid form, they're pure machine now so they can change from body to body just like that. So they are the same character, just in a new body.
I will definitely be getting Deluxe Optimus and Animated Motormaster I'm not sure about the other stuff though

Here's the real problem, it's not just wave 4, wave 3, not counting the Titan and Commander, which are always excellent, is even MORE lazy. Only ONE new mold, and only THREE repaints. They couldn't even be bothered to make at least nine or seven of them, just four "new" figures for wave 3. Gotta say, I'm REALLY disappointed for legacy's final waves, how could you end legacy like this? One of the most ambitious things transformers has ever done, and you end it with this complete lack of effort of two back to back repaint waves.
There's leaked listings of Wave 5 which will be a couple more packages refresh and repaints (one of them Tarn)

Yeah, this whole line of reveals were lukewarm imo. Only one im getting is deluxe Missing Link Prime. I loved the udea when it was announced, but i didn't have the budget to spend 80. This lets me experience it at a much lower price.
Yeah it's a really boring set, but I am at least excited for that one. Plus the Comic stuff looks fun.

It's not worth your money. It just isn't. Like yet it's more available, but even at its cheaper previous price you shouldn't waste your money on it.
I saw someone on instagram digibash the Quake mold into Bludgeon and I can actually see that work. A new head and chest and bam, you have the inner Pretender body of Bludgeon. I can see it work as that, since we've never been given a proper update of Bludgeon from his inner robot mode outside of the TFCC 2016 one
Honestly that might work a little better than quake for sure. And it would be going back to the roots of the figure having a skull for a head.
I thought Pathfinder would be a white Cosmos repaint instead. That’s just the colour I associate with the name, but any Color looks good on Cosmos!

Thank dank there's at best only 2 things I want from this wave. Its good to finally not be going broke, and I can focus my purchasing on different places. Additionally, I already have the miasing link optimus so half of the things I want I dont even want that bad, and the other half is the core class galvatron.

I can kind of see it, but the altmode is a dead giveaway.
WRT Slipstream's null rays, it looks like you can pop them into the inboard ports on the wings and have then in roughly the right place when her arms aren't extended too far, while for firing poses since Seekers pretty much straight arm it and she )probably) has wrist rotation from the look of it, rotating them do the inside-bicep port is out should work just fine, even if it doesn't look perfect due to the forearm then being on the wrong side.
So far, I have pre-ordered every single comic transformer just for the cell shading.
I totally get that cell shading is awesome.
Cosmos was originally going to be an Orgins Bumblebee retool, and that would have worked WAY better for Pathfinder.

Deluxe Optimus is like the only interesting figure for me out of the entire wave. The marvel uk 2-pack however is very left field and Im here for it

Goddamn I love slipstream. I actually like the windblade mold so the (almost) Skywarp colours make me very very happy, and the shiny teal was an INSPIRED decision. I love it.

I was disappointed by how little I wanted anything from this wave, but seeing as stores can barely be depended on to stock wave 1 of lines these days I suppose that’s for the best. Hopefully I can find a TR Quake cheap on the aftermarket from this though

Quake's alt mode looks like a tank with severe constipation.
I always see big transformers collections with some form of g1 Optimus prime, original, reissue, the Pepsi version, and I always wanted that, but know I finally have a chance to get one that won't cost like $100. And I can't wait for the hole in my collection to be filled
Optimus is pretty much my only want. On Armada Megatron, Aaron Archer has said the colour scheme is based on BW II Galvatron. I can't say I see it, but I don't like the cheapness of the paint apps here. The original had camo on it. I want a full sized Energon Galvatron, but the lack of clear plastics here looks cheap for that figure too. Probably not the case, done for durability sake, but somehow the colours look less appealing than the McDonalds toy. Actually on the colours, the tank should be Silver / Gray and they really should have hybridised the Hasbro and Takara releases. Both have great things about them, but are also lacking. Maybe too many paint hits necessary.
We need the Black versions of Energon Megs. The Red and Black Japanese one and the cancelled Target Black and Green one. Those look great lol.
Wave 4 of United feels like everything was undercut so they could make Toy Optimus the best he could be. Slipstream’s a Windblade retool? Only swap out the weapons and head. Quake’s the last of the Decepticon Double Targetmasters? Retool a decidedly iffy mold instead of making a new mold. Need a second Voyager slot? Slap a recolor of Metalhawk, one of the worst shelfwarmers of the decade in. Fans want Earth mode Soundwave? Add in Frenzy, change Laserbeak to Buzzsaw, and charge $15 more than the original release.
I’m certain toy Optimus is going to be fantastic. But is he really worth sacrificing an entire wave of product?
Deluxes are made with separate budgets to Voyagers and Leaders

Hear me out, I am considering the Leader Soundwave. I want the cassettes, since I have waited a while for the Buzzsaw, despite his odd colors, and slapping some Toyhax labels and 3D printing some new arms for his may make Soundwave bearable.
i LOVE everything that was shown here even the soundwave repack (but i love the space craft of seige soundwave more and my dislike for leader class sometimes sooooo) but i hate thefact that treds the green warpath is in a multipack

I'm really looking forward to the Quake, seeing as I loved the Titans Return version and liked the Legacy Skullgrin.
Glad Sixo got to reveal the 2-pack and they look great, actual characters we never had before. Slipstream and Mortormaster for me are the two standouts. Yes they're repaints but I'm a suckered for darker/decepticon repaints plus Slipstream is my favorite seeker.

Number 1: buzzsaw is going to be a gold color, the design commentary said the muted bronze ish color was not the final colors.
Number 2: here in canada, Soundwave was a leader, every Netflix voyager was priced at about $80, which was actually slightly higher than a leader at the time.

You know. I see a damn pattern here. Windblade is cursed to have trash figures but when it's got repainted and retulded into slipstream the figure become good or awarege.
For me it's the opposite. I really wasn't interested in windblade but found it to be pretty good when I did get it, but this slipstream looks ATROCIOUS

I mean the null rays will end up in roughly the same places thanks to the underside ports as where the generations did. It's not elegant but it works out to be about the same place.

Also, laughs in already having Earthrise Soundwave, Ravage, and Rumble and being okay with passing on Buzzsaw (plus that's got toy colors, they'll make a cartoon one sooner or later). Soundwave and Thundertron are the start of a VERY bad trend 86 Springer is aiding in. And everyone will just eat it up.
