There is server maintenance on Live in a couple of days to enable the Paldea Evolved sets IIRC. If there's no reason to stay PTCGO then I see no harm in migrating sooner rather than later.
Very few do. The thing is it's a bit complicated for some to get into it. Not super hard but but complicated to get started. Then there's the card collection which I heard is frustrating. F2ps can get good decks. It's achievable. You just have to grind for a very long time. Plus a 60 card deck makes games too long. PP on the other hand has taken lessons from it and made things far more normal and enjoyable. I've heard they'll add a competitive mode sooner or later. People will just forget about live then. Also another big issue is after you make an account it fails to connect to the account sometimes and you just don't get to play at all. I think the devs gave up on making the game better and stopped doing bug fixes or something. Also, maybe our attention spans have worsened so much that people just prefer Snap and Pocket type games.
