Terrific explanation, Dylan! I have been waiting for someone to talk about these things. Maybe this is obvious and I don't get it, but what about the L shaped frame thing at the lower corner at the beginning/end of a clip in the timeline? Does that mean something different than the filmstrip indicators you described at 2:31?
Those L's just indicate that you are on the first or last frame of the clip.
HI, I just downloaded the 90-days trial version, after 90 days, I plan to buy. I am a Mac user. I just want to know is this annually renewed license? How about the version? If they come up with newer version will i get auto-updates to a newer version? Appreciate your response please. Thx
Anybody know why some of my project files show the icons ( what's in the project )and some are black so I cannot see what they are? And sometimes I can scroll over my projects and it shows what they are and sometimes nothing happens? Thanks!!!

The Luts that I created to FCP are saved as a preset, now I can't install them to my monitor. Is there any way that I can change the format ?

Dylan, which version of FCP has that developers puzzle piece icon?
All versions that I am aware of! It's just if you have multiple workflow extensions installed, then that puzzle piece will show up.
