I think the difference is that in Kirishima's case he not only shrugs off Bakugou's attitude but also is openly friendly and supportive, voluntarily hanging out with Bakugou outside of group gatherings and generally making it clear that he likes the guy and respects him. In Todoroki's case his more distant demeanour makes it easy for Bakugou to see his behaviour as a sign of him dismissing Bakugou entirely, as showcased in the Sports Festival where Todoroki was completely focused on Midoriya and ignored Bakugou despite his significant accomplishments. And truthfully at the beginning Todoroki *was* ignoring Bakugou. It's only after some hefty character development that he began to really interact with the rest of the class. Early Todoroki was too absorbed by his own problems. But as you can see in the relationship between Bakugou and Midoriya once Bakugou has formed a negative opinion of you he has a hard time letting it go. While the fear of Todoroki overtaking him might be a factor I'd say the main reason for his animosity is that he feels Todoroki doesn't take him seriously.

His voice definitely got a lot more raspier in the dub, obviously because of all the screaming and yelling. I feel bad for Bakugou’s VA, he strained his voice for the role. Dedication man.
clifford chapin is a god damn beast, this is probably his best role yet. i feel his voice perfectly captures both the hotheadedness and strategic genius of bakugou, so,i,prefer his voice over the sub. (also you can hear how much more work he puts in the farther in the series we go)
His voice is like perfectly suited for someone always yelling. Even when he isn't yelling, he still sounds like he is yelling. Also the original Japanese voice actor would sometimes go really deep for his voice, and considering that Bakugou is like 16, it was a little disturbing.

If we're going with which one is the better line between the English dub and the English sub, the dub is better because it's not awkward sounding at all. "He'll be fine if I just don't hit him" sounds really stupid if you think about it. No shit he'll be fine if you don't hit him. Even though the dub is saying that, as long as Midoriya dodges, he won't die, the implication that Bakugo was not serious in killing him is also implied (and hinted at later when All Might talks about it). It covers the bases that the sub does, but it still sounds natural.

clifford chapin is a god damn beast, this is probably his best role yet. i feel his voice perfectly captures both the hotheadedness and strategic genius of bakugou, so,i,prefer his voice over the sub. (also you can hear how much more work he puts in the farther in the series we go)

Sondre No Last Name I actually have a tiny problem with this line. It's supposed to be along the lines of "He'll be fine if I just don't hit him.", implying he purposefully shot just to the side of Deku, instead of relying on him to dodge and landing a direct hit. Otherwise, it's nicely cynical. XD

That line is still awkward as hell. The line should be, "he'll be fine as long as I barely hit him". Whoever made the sub was clearly not as good in English as he was in Japanese.
If we're going with which one is the better line between the English dub and the English sub, the dub is better because it's not awkward sounding at all. "He'll be fine if I just don't hit him" sounds really stupid if you think about it. No shit he'll be fine if you don't hit him.
Even though the dub is saying that, as long as Midoriya dodges, he won't die, the implication that Bakugo was not serious in killing him is also implied (and hinted at later when All Might talks about it). It covers the bases that the sub does, but it still sounds natural.
