These commercials are from my hometown of Madison, WI. Very cool. 0:57 - Nestor? Where's Howard? 3:08 - I had the first book, "Fievel's Boat Trip". 11:00 - Colorization was a big controversy back in the day. I particularly remember Siskel and Ebert devoting a whole episode to the process of colorization, and referring to it as "vandalism" of classic movies. 22:13 - My third grade class actually took a field trip to see this production! It says weekends, but I think they did special productions for schools on select weekday afternoons.
Nestor the Long Eared Christmas Donkey-sounds like a insult that Gordon Ramsay would call someone on Hell's Kitchen Thundercats-R.I.P Earle Hyman(voice of Panthro) Silverhawks-Hollywood should revisit this property Street Machine-wouldve made a good title for one of those 80s"crimefighting vehicle" shows..theme song could be used too MOTU-David S.Goyer is directing a live-action film Puttin On The Kids-soon to be seen on Nickelodeon as "Lip Sync Battle Shorties" with hosts Nick Cannon and Jojo Siwa Transformers-did people really ask for a live-action Bumblebee spinoff(with John Cena..?) M.A.S.K-seeing the direction that the Fast & The Furious franchise is going in,maybe they should merge it with this(Kurt Russell for Matt Trakker,Brian Dennehy for Miles Mayhem and maybe Nicholson for Sly Rax lol )
I remember seeing those puppet animated Christmas specials in the '70s (besides, "Rudolph"). I was only a little kid at the time, so I didn't quite understand enough what they were about. But I get a rough idea that there was a happy ending to them. "The First Christmas" I've never heard or seen. 20:45 I've heard someone said that there's a "M.A.S.K." movie in the works. Although, I haven't heard any one else said it!
I saw Sesame Street Live when I was little. I absolutely loved it. I was dancing.

15:26 Special Appearance by Baby Carlton and Baby Mike Seaver
They used the same Beam-Blaster tech in the Bravestarr toys, also from Mattel.
Commercials back then were actually entertainment...now just junk
was born in 81 too.
0:48 who sings Joy to the world
Wasn't Ted Turner one of the main ones behind the colorization thing?
Afterwards, yes. However this was one of the first B&W films to be colorized and Turner had nothing to do with it.
Transformers yay before Micheal Bay ruined it 😀
