- Our next Group build and the schedule. Also a dedication to Apollo 8 astronaut Bill Anders who dies in a plane crash the other day at the age of 90. He is credited with taking the famous Earthrise photo.

Hmmm. Didn't AMT sell a bunch of 3-in-1 automobile kits to build a specific car in three different ways? Stock, custom and racing versions, or something like that?

I was saddened to hear of the passing of Bill. He moved to the next universe doing what he loved.

Glad you clarified the 317 build. I was trying to decide which of the three hundred and seventeen model kits I would take from the stash and build.😀😀. Take it easy Max and rest up.
I was about to do two models of same car but different liveries, I think I’ll try for three for the group build, also have a mustang car so I’ll try for that as well, hopefully Christmas is the deadline date :)

That is an interesting group build idea, don't think I will be able to make that one but will be down for the Mustang build.

Thanks for the Bill Anders montage with the great "From the Earth to the Moon" music. Can the 3-17 build include models that we've submitted for previous viewer's builds?
Throw a nickel on the grass… Flew in a USAF Heritage Flight led by Bill Anders at the Miramar Airshow back in ‘05. Three P-40B’s ready, see if I can get an early Bong P-38 and an Olds’ P-38 completed in time to go with my 9FS “Beautiful Lass” P-38.
Take care of yourself, and do not over do things. I see several of those sets contained four models...
Sounds like a great idea! I'll have to dig through the dozen I have started and find 3 that fit...and finish them! Great to hear from you! Feel better!
Just as a side note so today I watched Godzilla minus one what a great movie there are only two movies that I've ever teared up for the first one was at the end of Titanic and now the Godzilla minus one and if you're wondering no it's not really a movie about Godzilla it's a movie about post war Japan!!
