- Mark Bowe is the founder and president of Antique Cabins and Barns, owner/broker of Mark Bowe Insurance Agency and the host of the popular DIY Network series, Barnwood Buildings. Mark speaks to students from WVU's College of Business & Economics. The talk is part of the College's Distinguished Speakers Series.

Hi I'm Traceey from Australia.🇦🇨 I NEVER miss watching this show, when its on TV. I love Log Cabin homes, & i love watching these talented guys, pull down barns, & buildi g new ones. It truly is a credit, to Mark Bowe, & his hard working crew. Love these guys. They're the BOMB.
Love the show, Barnwood Builders. Mark Bowe flows through each show sharing his knowledge and his integrity. His motto and message: Work Hard, Be Kind, Take Pride. Words we should all live by.
I love watching all the guys working hard, being kind, and taking pride - and having fun together. They are the definitive "good ole boys". It's also cool to learn about these old barns and cabins.

Mark was born and raised in a small town in WV, 20 minutes east of Charleston. His mother, and my father are brother and sister. It is crazy that I have a family member who's a celebrity! He really is a genuine, good hearted guy. I spent a lot of time at that trailer park throughout my childhood! But, then when Mark, his parents, and his younger brother moved into a big house up on Snob's Nob (it's actually called Melrose Addition), we started having all of our family reunions, and holiday get-togethers there. We really did have a great childhood. Our family is close, and we would do anything for each other. We are so proud of Mark, and couldn't be happier for him, his wife, and his son!
Believe me, there are a LOT of grown ass men in WV! They are raised to be that way, and are taught to work hard, and don't depend on anyone else to take care of you! And you're right, there aren't many grown ass men around anymore!
Mark is so funny and has a sense of humor. I enjoy watching him on Barnwood Builders. You tell you what a Grown Aww man is.

Every year at this time, pittsburgh is known as Picklesburg!..Pgh.is the home of Heinz where they made pickles. I know you love pickles, you may want to visit Pittsburgh in July to take in all the festivities!
