How To Remove Dollhouse Carpet - DIY Dollhouse Tips

Today I'm going to show you the easy way to remove dollhouse carpet. My dollhouse had been stored in a garage for many years and the carpet smelt very musty. I knew I had to remove it and I soon found that just scraping it off wouldn't work!
To avoid hacking away at the dollhouse carpet, I used a hairdryer to heat the carpet glue and then scraped it off with a wallpaper scraper. It sounds easy, and it was, kind off, but I learnt a few things along the way and I share these tips with you in this video.
All you need to remove an old dollhouse carpet (or other dollhouse flooring such as lino) is:
• a mask and gloves
• a hair dryer
• a wallpaper scraper
• white spirit and a cloth
• sandpaper
• scrubbing brush and warm soapy water
